Walked by this place 100s of times never even noticed it hidden on a side street off slough High Street. Today I ventured in and what an amazing experience. The staff was informative and friendly, nothing was too much to ask. The mixed grill was soooo good. The taste was exquist. Cooked to perfection. Well seasoned. Will be coming back again! Recommended!

Went there with friends for breakfast after recommendation from a friend. And reviews looked promising. Parking at the back of shop is good Atmosphere and seating in the restaurant is decent and whilst the colour scheme is not as appealing but overall it’s not too bad. Toilet was filthy so won’t recommend using it unless it’s emergency. They don’t have full menu available as we asked for brain they didn’t have any even requested if they can make it as we had travelled from out of town but they declined. All they need to do is advertise on menu or have a separate menu for breakfast or don’t include items you can’t serve very disappointed only Food I would recommend is their tea which is properly made. Halwa puri is average at best especially their chanay and aaloo bhujia is not even worth the money. Beef nihari is decent only when it’s warm it came like warm anyways so wasn’t worth the money. Kulcha were good only if they had not burnt the corners. I would never ever ever order parathas or omelettes. I swear my 12 year old can make better paratha and omelettes. Overall disappointing experience and service was appalling as well. So no point going back for tea or bit of kulcha. And lastly only cash is accepted in this day and age. I mean seriously ???

So there are some positives of this place and will focus on it purely. Ambience: very personable, homely, courteous and sober. You don’t need fancy to have a good ambience which cud be seen here. 5/5 stars Menu: decent dishes and good mix of chicken, lamb and beef as well as bbq and rice. 5/5 Chicken karhai: good taste esp those who want to taste proper Karachi karhai from a UK perspective. Of course we won’t taste the same thing as “super highway for those who know what I mean” but still kudos for the effort and for bringing good authentic taste to the table. 5/5 Haleem: didn’t try so cannot comment on it. Looked and smelled okay though. Nihari: again we can’t expect to bring taste of Zahid or Javed nihari here but still very good effort and good meet selection too. Good colour and good tarka on it. 4.5/5 Naan: for those who come from Karachi - yes it was what we are used to seeing as tandoori roti or the safed doodh wali roti. For those who are from other regions their tandoori roti is what we call chapati (red atta roti). 5/5 Gajar halwa: couldn’t take pics but was delicious 4.5/5 Thanks to the owner (to avoid him being trolled or spammed, I am not mentioning his name) but bhai jan thanks a lot for such a good experience and for giving us a place to sit and cherish our Karachi days when we used to do proper bethek. What a good reminder this place brought. Nostalgic! Thanks again and will see you again.

بہترین گھر کا پکا ہوا کھانا، بہترین سروس My sister and husband are over from Australia and fancied an authentic Asian dinner ( they were not disappointed) So we popped into this lovely back Street restauarant, From the onset a warm friendly greeting from the owner, explained every dish and gave recommendations, the staff were very lovely too, food was home cooked to a high standard with great flavours, we highly recommend this lovely place, pop in a give it a whirl

Food is good but don't go for lunch on weekends because they serve late breakfast. Limited options available for lunch. But the overall taste was good.

Restaurant needs a bit more lighting, re-paint to be something vibrant and not dull grey, ambience feels very dull and boring. Food is reasonable, Chicken Biryani and Beef Nihari were of good taste and the portion size was decent too, but they serve in open pots with no lid so food gets cold quickly. Also, not sure it they use too much turmeric in biryani or it was some cheap food colour that left pretty stubborn yellow stains on my fingers and nails (I eat using my hand following Sunnah). They have a sign on till saying they take cash only, but you can do bank transfer to them as well. They have floor sitting I think for families as they have curtains but they are useless being see through and across the tables, so it is an awkward view especially with family if you using floor seating and people sitting on chair oppsite to you side stare at you directly due to the position of seatings.

Went here with my friends and the food was always on point. A few of my friends are skeptical about trying new food, and I took the risk and they loved it and are already planning to come back. Amazing, delicious, and absolutely tasty food. I loved the mixed grill, Biryani & charsi chicken-chefs special! Thank to the team for great customerservice and delicious food.

I tried their biryani and it was truly a Karachi style biryani full of flavor and right amount of balanced spice. I also ordered charsi lamb karahi I must say it was 10/10, staff was nice owner was very humble guy. The only drawback was the washroom was not very clean the owners should work on that

I waited two full days to ragain my composure before deciding to write this review of this pathetic restaurant. If I had decided immediately to pen down my unfortunate experience at this place, my choice of words and feedback would have been personal, ruthless, derogatory marred by bias and prejudice. But living two days after that fateful dinner, my nerves have calmed down to give unbiased, mild, cushioned and tapered opinion. But I would still call a spade a spade. Avoid this restaurant is I am going to begin with. The area has so many other culinary options that you won’t be missing much if you give it this place a miss. And I am sure people who run this place are not going to miss you. Without naming the dishes we ordered, focusing on taste itself, cooking was tasteless. It’s not exaggeration when I say that food was not made in oil, it appeared as if hot oil was served with small chunks of food used as topping. While my rant has been on the quality of food all along, the less I speak about hospitality the better. In fact the word hospitality is useless to reckon this restaurant with. I can safely say that this restaurant is epitome of how bad the hospitality can become. They can become role model of how not to be customer focused. The prices are so crazy that it all made sense when I thought about with a peaceful mind. Their customers turn out is to small that all they can do is overprice and recover all their expenses and profit with gullible and unaware souls that wander into this place because of the catchy name and relating immediately to highly tasteful Pakistani cuisine. But I had better Pakistani food that this restaurant can never be able to churn out. The last nail in the coffin is their demand to customers to pay in cash. Can understand a tenner in cash, but expecting customers to pay £35 in cash is ransom and definitely against the law when they don’t give receipts. All in all, don’t go, avoid, avoid and avoid. The rest is god save the appetite that gets brutally killed with these bad places, not to mention so many broken relationships this restaurant can cause just by their food.

When cooked well, their Nihari is the best in town. When not in mood, they can serve you stale food as well. Or maybe it depends who is working on that specific day. Mostly we dine in. They have increased prices but also the portion sizes which makes more sense. Two people can easily have one dish with some naans for under £20. Biryani is also good but as I mentioned, it's never the same. Specially during morning times, there are chances that you might be served biryani from the previous day. This happened to me twice. How I saw that? I was actually standing in the back door, and saw the lady taking out biryani from the fridge, heat it and give it to me for a takeaway. The owner himself is a courteous man.

Best food in Slough, glad to have this place here food all fresh we ordered nihari haleem paya lamb karhai and few more other items all were spot on. Staff very nice and owner of the restaurant very humble and took care of us. Spice in the food was perfect with good balance of taste. I have to say never been disappointed from this resurant every time I been there was introduced with a new dish which they keep on adding to the menu and now it's a full house in with a true resurant and taste of karachi. Keep it up may you have more baraka in your business

Real and authentic flavours of Karachi! One of the best places to eat from in the UK if you are looking for food that does not taste like the usual high street pakistani food. 10 out of 10! The owner takes care of you just like a family member. Reasonably priced, great great food that feels home cooked. Highly recommended.

Food is really good, we ordered Beef Nihari & Charsi Chicken Karahi ... Taste wise both were delicious, beef seemed a tiny bit hard (as compared to the usual texture of a Nihari beef) but taste wise 10/10 for Nihari. Nice atmosphere and staff was very friendly and helping. The service was quick ... So a good place to dine in with friends or family.

Pathetic service. Too small portions in such a hefty price. We asked them to increase the portion of halwa puri we’ll pay you extra for that and the lady said don’t worry I’ll give you extra and later sent an empty box to us. And when we called and asked she said oh sorry I have sent it in an another order. What a rubbish service and pathetic portions. And even it looks like they are already used from the portions. I’m attaching pictures for reviewing.

I had read such great reviews and had high expectations from the food and being from Karachi I was looking forward for that Karachi taste.. we went there mainly to try brain masala and beef bihari boti. We ordered beef bihari boti, maghaz masala, lamb karhai, chips, and seekh kabab roll. Upon ordering we were told beef bihari boti was not available so we changed the order to chicken tikka (6pieces).. it said so on the menu. 6 pieces. Anyway while waiting for the order after sometime we saw that our order was delivered to some other family then when they complained it wasn't theirs so they picked it up and took it back into the kitchen and then brought it all back and put it on our table. SO because of this.. our karhai and brain masala and chicken tikka was not HOT.. it was just mildly warm. Only chips were hot..Then the chicken tikka 6 pieces was not 6 .. they were small boneless chicken pieces more than 6 while we were expecting some sort of bone pieces.. as for the taste. Chicken tikka was so so.. maghaz masala was ok, lamb charsi karhai was also Ok. Seekh kabab roll was also OK. By Ok i mean taste was lacking in every thing. There wasn't any ooomph factor as every other person claims in reviews .. might be difference of taste buds or service.. we have had better and amazing Karhais at other places.. anyway.. we had saved our appetite of whole day, drove from so far, on my birthday to experience all this.. By the way, they were also messing up take away orders as we observed while waiting for our order. and I wouldn't have written this order but why should I not write this if we're paying 60 pounds in this expensive day and age and still getting this sort of a food experience. Good thing is they have got parking at the back.. Quantity of food was good.. As for service only 2 people working on the outside to take orders and at the till and to deliver food hence all the chaos and confusion.. but if you're running a business then you should be alert n attentive and not clumsy.. people's money matter. Thay don't except card payments, the machine around the corner wasn't working.. and the other machine my husband went to draw cash only delivers 50 pounds max.. Place got refurbished and is clean except for the washrooms and the place looks extremely lit and bright in videos and insta because for the videos they probably lit up alllll the extra bulbs they've got but yesterday non of the bulbs were on.. only the basic lights and because of this.. the pink walls make the place dim.. so a down down for aesthetics lovers.. i would never comment on the walls and ambience if the food had been good.

One of the best places In Slough for Asian food. Everything was spot on, service was 10/10. Very reasonably priced. Very honest people, we dropped £40 on the floor, phoned back and money was handed to the manager. Was very kindly returned back to us. Highly recommended place

Went in spontaneously with a party of five tonight and left happily after a delicious dinner. Very friendly atmosphere and service. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, the manager improvised an extra table for us and offered us a special Ramadan-platter we didn‘t regret ordering for a single second. Highly recommended!

I had taste of Karachi cater for a private party. The quantity of the food was more than enough, and we had food leftover. The quality of food was amazing, no complaints. Everything was delicious and all guests asked who the caterer was. We will definitely be using their services again.
