£28 for a microwaved Halibut?? Others in the party ordered the beef dinner. Beef was nice. Veg was microwaved and gravy had a thick skin (again, microwaved). Is anything on the menu not microwaved? This is not to mention the fact we felt awkward asking for anything, like more drinks that we wanted to buy.

Never been here before but thought we'd give it a go this week with our best friends .We had a table booked for 8pm but we're told our table wasn't ready so had to wait to go through so had a drink in the bar..We actually thought the lady in the bar was quite rude,rest of the staff couldn't do enough but they do keep coming over to the table abit too much i felt while we were eating.ive done waiting on service and know when to leave folk alone & when to go and remove dishes...Don't think we'd go back again .. But lovely location and great views..

Fantastic food, went at Christmas time and had the Christmas menu. The staff were all very friendly and The Shore is in a lovely location.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but ate twice in the restaurant. Lovely friendly & professional service and delicious food. We didn't book for the Wednesday evening but managed to get a table because we ate early. We booked a table for the Friday evening because it was busy.

We visited the Shore Hotel for a meal and would thoroughly recommend it. The restaurant itself is in a fantastic location with wonderful views. The staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout. Food was excellent quality, prepared with care and generous but not excessive portions - some of the nicest food we've had on the island.

We simply don't get to the Shore often enough. Good location, plenty of parking, very pleasant staff, quality food and an ambience conducive to enjoying your visit. Great place!

The food is absolutely fantastic and the rooms are beautiful. The location has great views and parking but is not ideal for proximity to other amenities unless by car or bus. The service in the restaurant could be better and is what holds me back from a 5 star review the food warrants.

Beautiful location on a sunny day, fab food, I had the chicken curry, hubby had the rib of beef and my son had fish and chip, didn’t leave room for pudding 😢 A must if you are a gentleman is to visit the quirky toilet, Thank you

Incredible location, good food and good value. More importantly, staff were incredibly attentive throughout - To the point where Charlotte was kind enough to drive us home after missing our bus and being unable to get a taxi! Great service, good food, well worth a visit.

Been today with my husband and grandson for my birthday we had 3 course meal all different it was excellent the Shore Gansey never disappoint compliments to the chef and the lady who served us!

Stopped here on a Sunday evening in the hope of getting a meal + drink after finding many local eateries not serving. Found this place a real treasure. Staff could not have been more helpful and the food first class. Three of us dined here and sat outside for our food. Moved inside after dining and found bar area extremely comfortable and a great atmosphere. Can thoroughly recommend.

We stopped for lunch here, having only just landed on the island, and were so impressed booked a table for the next day. Food is freshly prepared and delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. Once ordered the food came quickly but at no time were we rushed.

We loved staying at the Shore hotel. Room was nice and big. The restaurant downstairs was very nice. Friendly service and very dog friendly. They accommodated my dietary requests which was very kind of them. Great location too. Would highly recommend !
