My first helicopter ride, tour, experience it was amazing! It was a surprise birthday present for my boyfriend. Our pilot (Dave?) was pleasant, polite, helpful, welcoming, and engaging! He made this ride good for us! I/we enjoyed every second of it! It was the perfect day! Most importantly, I felt safe! The entire staff at SKYBOUND is wonderful understanding sincere and assisting as I have spoken to several if not all the staff while in the process of scheduling. I can’t wait for the holiday tour (for my bday)!!! (My tour 6-4-22) Thanks SKYBOUND!!! 😍

My husband booked this flight as a fun thing to do for our anniversary. We didn’t feel comfortable signing their liability waiver (washing them from being held accountable from any responsibility of injury or death, even due to pilot or mechanical error with the aircraft). They cancelled our flight because “no waiver, no flight” and won’t refund even though they were the ones that cancelled, we were there willing and able to get on the flight but not willing to release them from being held accountable if something were to have happened. They say this is “standard procedure in the aviation industry due to there being risks” but I’ve never had to sign a liability waiver when booking a flight with an airline 🤔 if your equipment is safe, and confident in your pilots’ skills, this liability waiver wouldn’t be necessary. The owner/manager, Ryan, asked my husband to call him. My husband did in hopes of resolving the issue. Ryan did not get on the phone to find an amicable resolution - he just wanted to argue and “discuss” my husband’s review. Disappointed with the way this was handled.

These guys are awesome! We took our mom out for a ride for her 80th birthday. They went above and beyond literaly to make sure she enjoyed her flight. We wish they would get a bigger helicopter so three adults could ride at the same time.

I chose a tour with Skybound Helicopters as a birthday gift for my husband and they did not disappoint! Our 10 year old was also able to join us and she had a blast. Very friendly staff and awesome pilot, Corey. I would highly recommend this once in a life time view with this great company!

It's the first time in a helicopter. It was a nice ride. Not knowing what we were looking at and only being 15 minutes was a downer!! If you can go at night, maybe it would be easier to see what each building was. Our pilot Dave was a nice man, just a man of few words. He has been flying over 30 years and probably takes the views for granted, but we would have liked to know what we were seeing. I went in March, and everything is brown, no green grass, or anything to distinguish each from. It was kind of a letdown.

Absolutely worth every penny! Kate & Harris were the best. We did the 30 minute evening tour, definitely would recommend

Such an amazing experience! Me and my husband both have never flown and I did this whole trip to KC as a birthday surprise for my husband. Joel is an amazing pilot and helped us with our fear of heights during the tour! Absolutely recommend and if you can ask for a specific pilot I’d ask for Joel!

The downtown tour was amazing!! Joel was our pilot and he was the best pilot we have ever flown with!! We have been on many helicopter tours and this by far has been the best one yet!! We had a blast and made some awesome memories! Thank you.

Took a friend and his daughter for their first helicopter ride and we had a great experience flying with Ryan. After arriving we watched a quick safety video and then were escorted to the helicopter right outside. We took in views from all over KC at sunset and was spectacular from start to finish. Thanks again and look forward to taking some flight lessons with you guys!

Did 16 hours of helicopter training with Ryan during my time out in KC. Ryan is a great instructor who teaches you what you need to know while making you feel comfortable while you are learning. The helicopter is basically brand new with all the accessories you could ask for (plus A/C!). If you are interested in learning to fly helicopters definitely give them a call!

Fantastic service, made us feel very comfortable. Pilots were extremely obliging & had great knowledge of the sites in KC. I would highly recommend! We're already talking about booking our next tour!
