We hadn't initially planned on camping this weekend but decided to try to find something closer to home. This choice was such a treat! Beautiful spot and the owners are super nice! Lots of mature trees and good wifi too.

Amazing service! We had a company float trip planned with camping (3 tents, 1 cabin, 1 bell tent) and everything was great! Sheila was amazing with our last minute changes. Facilities were clean and grounds were clean too. Would highly recommend!! Can’t wait for 2024.

Basic RV resort, but quite and well kept. The cabin was very clean and stocked adequately for preparing meals, linens, towels etc. The beds were comfortable, but the foldout couch was a little rough. The owners are very conscientious, there were times that the store was marked as open but know one was there. Not a huge thing but would have saved a little time and bother to not rattle the door. Overall a very pleasant stay and we will likely return.

Gasconade Hills Resort is the perfect camping/floating getaway! Sheila, one of the owners, is amazingly accommodating and helpful. I had to make about 8 changes to our reservations and she was so easy to work with and very kind. The campgrounds and bath houses are immaculately clean- seriously I've never seen such a nice shower house at a campsite! After floating for the day, you end up right back at the campsite which is very convenient. 100% recommend and will be back.

We had an incredible time here with our 4 and 6 year old children and our 24 ft motorhome. The covered kids area was a blessing during the rain. So many fun toys and so much space! And we loved waking up and walking 1 minute to a stunning pebble beach on the river. Our son caught tiny fish in his hands. We went for a float in a 3 person canoe. It was about 2 hours of being with big birds (herons and Turkey vultures maybe?), the orange river banks, forests, and flowing water. It was late September, so we had to get out of the canoe a few times to glide it across shallow passes. Made it even more exciting. Camp owners were super nice and helpful. Definitely one of my favorite campsites ever!

Rooms would be the camp site which was nice and level and long! We couldn't have had better hosts! Had a problem with our rigs electrical and they were very generous and helped tremendously! It was the beginning of the season and too cold to try the river sports but would definitely come back to try it. The location is nice a quiet and not too far off Rte 44. Uranus Fudge Factory is a quick hop and lots of fun!

Really nice camp. Well maintained. Owners were the nicest people! We just stayed one night on our trip but will definitely be back. Great place for families. Nice Rv sites as well as tent sites, cabins and they are also a harvest host and good Sam park. Definitely recommend this camp for anyone going through this area. There’s canoeing, rafts on the river, a nice pool, playground and volleyball.

All staff was off for staff appreciation day, nice little campground close to the river. Nothing close by except a little convenient store a mile or more down the road Not related to the campground.... There were some morons on the other side of the river who was mud bogging down the river in the lifted 4x4 pickups and one got stuck and another I believe came to get him unstuck, it was hours of listening to the trucks rev their engines trying to get the one truck unstuck.... Finally around 1130 pm or later they got it and left.

Quietest, most well kept, and peaceful river that I have floated on. The campground is great! I tent camped on the hill and the seclusion and wildness of it was more than I hoped it would be. I did walk the entire site and the RV grounds are well kept, full hook ups in most of if not all sites. Appropriately sized for a nice site and a good fire, and all with a view of the river. The customer service is spectacular, the people who run this spot care very much and it shows in many ways not least of all the service. Rules is rules and they say I can’t bring my own firewood. Boooo! but I get it; and, that’s my only complaint. Overall 5 stars. I will be back.

Great camping spots with hookups. We brought our own kayaks and GHR shuttled them to the drop for $30 each which is very reasonably priced. It is a family friendly campground and not a wild party like some river campgrounds we’ve experienced in southern Missouri. Camp store has anything you may need. This place was wonderful! The river is clean and manageable. We will come back and recommend to others.

Awesome experience! Campsites were clean, bathrooms were really nice and clean, and the business of the location didn’t seem to matter. Very family friendly. Our float experience was really fun! Owners take very good care of their patrons, and have great communication. We will be back for multiple years for sure!

•Small campground (i.e., quiet and relaxing) •Clean •Well-kept We had a great stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating and did whatever they could to keep their patrons happy. They worked tirelessly all weekend to keep the campground running smoothly.

😠 While this was honestly one of the beautiful campgrounds we've stayed at as far as the river, the trees, the spaciousness of the sites, we were overall thoroughly disappointed. We stayed 2 full weeks and with no sewer or gray hookups we had to use the showers. There's one building at the back of th...
