I have lived here for about six months and as I read other reviews I agree and disagree with some of the issues. Parking: yes parking can be a pain, but we all rented here knowing they didn't have designated parking and it was street parking. Well, newsflash people, you live in a building that houses over a hundred apartments, do you think no one drives? I have never had an issue finding a space. Once a month I have to park far away, and that is usually when I'm looking for a spot at 3am. Elevators: So they're loud and shaky at times, but it gets me where I need to go. Dogs: You can hear them when you are in the halls at times, but I've never heard them while inside my apartment. The only time I hear anything is if someone is outside the apartment door. Also people don't clean up after their dogs a bunch, so be careful when you walk outside, but that's not the apartments fault. Laundry Room: it is kept clean, a few times I had dryers not work and it was a pain and time consuming. Also the fact that you can only full your laundry card during office hours, at the main office, is quite a pain in the ass, and very inconvenient. Hot water: at least once a month there is issues with the boiler... I hate waking up and having to take a cold shower before work. Cleanliness: the building is fairly clean, I think the lobby area could use a few new couches and a bit of an update. I have never had any issues with bugs or mice. The apartment itself: I have a one bedroom, it's a decent size. Only thing I don't like about it, is we have a dark brown carpet and you can see EVERYTHING on it. I literally have to vacuum every day. Also there are no screens in the windows. Not a huge deal, but a good thing to know. Hope this helps!

Roaches, bed bugs, urine in the stairway, only one functional elevator, everything you can imagine being wrong with a place. The living conditions here are unacceptable and mac does nothing about it. Took them 3 weeks and a meeting with the resident services manager to finally respond to a bug related service request. Never rent from Mac. You will absolutely regret it. The almost month I’ve spent here has been so unacceptably bad from day one. And then when you try to terminate your lease early they make it as difficult and obfuscated as they possibly can. Don’t live here, people.

Completely unsanitary & unsafe living conditions. Visited my sister who resides here & I’m shocked they think it’s okay for her to live in an apartment that’s roach & bed bug ridden. Absolutely look into another property, this place is unsafe as I understand some type of stabbing occurred here recently too?? You can’t keep your residents safe or give them clean living conditions but you can schedule services that don’t fix the problem so it’s looks good on the computer end of things, got it. Seriously, go with another apartment complex!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISGUSTING PLACE!

If you love things being in disrepair and innatentivness to the needs of residents you've found the best apartment in Kansas City. They don't advertise this, but one of their best features is that they don't have water most mondays! But someone is looking into it for the 13th week in a row so don't stress about it.

It's probably filled with more roaches than people, should be condemned. Never live here, also someone got stabbed in the lobby while back because they have zero concern for resident safety. If you're stuck living here contact KC Tenants for help!

I’ve read some of these reviews about how unclean and unsafe this apartment is I hope I don’t have to go through the same thing if I get to rent an studio apartment at Westport central apartments I’m just worrying about regretting renting a studio apartment there. I hope I don’t have to go through problems with maintenance, roaches, mole, bed bugs or mouses, this will be my very first time renting an apartment hoping for an good experience living at this apartment. Plus I hope that they did something about homeless people sleeping or hanging out in the lobby I don’t want one of them following me to my apartment if I get it that’ll be so scary. I suppose to take a tour of the apartment on Tuesday I hope I’ll like it. I also hope everything changed since this apartment getting bad reviews

There has been a lot of improvement going around. At first, I was nervous since this is my first time living on my own but it's really not that bad. There are some really cool people to catch up with and they have fun events. Check it out some time!

Great staff, any maintenance I've requested have been handled promptly in a reasonable amount of time. I wish Mac Property have a higher review but it seems other reviews are based on unforeseen events, and then the review is magnified in great details with all horrible emotions included, but rarely do they mention how soon the problem were fixed or fixed at all. It's unfortunate we live in a world where bad news spread faster than good news.
