    My experience when visiting Front Door Fitness has always been positive and uplifting. Every trainer is encouraging and does whatever it takes to ensure you're getting the most out of the scheduled session. Kenny is an amazing trainer who goes above and beyond during every session. On days where my body is struggling to complete an entire set, he will modify the set to fit my bodies needs and/or positively encourage me to put forth my best effort. On days when my body is feeling strong, he finds ways to further challenge my energy. He is also very flexible with scheduling/modifying future sessions. The facility is always clean and carries a positive atmosphere. The entire staff cares about me, even the trainers who aren't assisting me directly know my name and encourage me to be successful. I am grateful to have Front Door Fitness in Kansas City. Front Door Fitness put forth effort to know me personally, understand my goals, and actively participate in my health and fitness journey.

    I get really great workouts here from my trainer Jess. She provides wonderful alternatives that take into account a few pains I have and pushes me to make progress on my full body. I really love the full body workout approach! Super clean place and not overcrowded like a number of gyms in the area.

    Front Door Fitness has been great and Bailey has been terrific! My goal when I started was to get back into decent shape so that I would not be self-conscious when returning to the gym on my own. Bailey has helped me reach that goal! She is always positive and super organized with my workouts. She challenged me to improve each week but never made me feel inadequate.

    I’ve been a member at Front Door Fitness for about a year and a half now. From the first day I walked through the door I felt welcomed. All of the trainers are friendly and I’ve never felt judged. I was paired with Austin as my trainer and he has been so great to work with! My work schedule can sometimes be crazy and he is always willing to reschedule my sessions if needed each week. I always thought I would work with a trainer for 6 months or so and then eventually move on to training myself but Front Door Fitness has become a staple for my health and fitness journey. I highly recommend FDF and Austin as a trainer if you are looking for a place to get started on your fitness journey!!

    I love this gym! I saw immediate results in my performance and body after only 4 sessions. Everyone is welcoming and very knowledgeable of what they’re doing. They work as a team and make sure your standards are met if not exceeded. Individual or group sessions, these men and women make sure you are taken care of! I highly recommend this gym for anyone no matter your fitness background.

    My wife and I signed up as a couple and Jack did a great job of individulizing our exercises to assure we were both being challenged. We highly recommend him and FDF.

    Hunter has been a great trainer to work with. I am coming back to working out after running a few marathons but fighting injury and life changes. He’s really good at pushing me while encouraging me to listen to my body to avoid injury again. The option to use a gym at your home is a great perk!

    I love working out at Front Door Fitness! Lindsey Garman is an awesome trainer. She helps me set goals for myself and then challenges me and pushes me to achieve those goals. It’s a very motivating and fun environment to workout in!

    I haven’t used front door fitness very long but I have used it longer than I originally planned! I think it’s been about 3 months now. I am already pretty active but got in a little slump off of my regular routine and thought this would be a good push for myself. I was also trying to transition to morning workouts opposed to night workouts. I’m a cardio fanatic so really only needed to work on strengthening and alignment. My upper body strength was LOW so that was a big goal of mine. And better posture. The trainer I have been working with (Quincy) has been great to keep me on routine as well as pushing me passed my personal limits of how much I would lift on my own. The trainer match was perfect for me! Thank you for everything. I would 110% recommend.

    I have been using trainers from Front Door Fitness for almost 10 years now. That’s a long time, so naturally, the individual trainers have turned over several times. The first time that happened I was filled with trepidation because I had bonded closely with the young woman who first introduced me to personal training. I was fearful that someone different would never be the same. While I was correct that someone different would be different, it has kept the process interesting for all these years. Each trainer has been excellent. Each one brings a little bit different take on the process. I am 66 years old. I have three artificial joints. I have to be very careful not to injure myself. Each trainer I have had from Front Door is highly professional, often trained like a physical therapist. I know I can trust the trainers to push me to excellence but make sure I don’t hurt myself in the process. When I first started with Front Door, I was working. The trainers would meet me at my employer’s gym and we would train there. After I retired, the trainers came to my community and we used my community’s facilities. However, to save a little money, I now go to Front Door’s own facility in Prairie Village. It is clean and well equipped. Even though it is small, it is bright and works great. I have used both male and female trainers. I really enjoy both. My current trainer, Morgan, is just delightful. She is highly reliable, very professional, smart, well read and well informed. That makes for great conversation and the hour goes by in a flash. I would highly recommend Front Door Fitness to help anyone improve their overall health and physique.

    Both my husband and I go here! We love it! I do yoga with Emily and she has changed my life! She is always so fun and challenging! She is sunshine and daisies! Can’t live without this place!

    Sam’s an awesome trainer. His golf focused sessions have made a huge impact on my game! I have better balance, increased flexibility and more power resulting in faster swing speed.

    I've never been a sporty/fitness person but decided a year ago that I had to take control. Spending time with a personal trainer has been worth every penny because it makes me show up! When I do, I always enjoy my time with trainer Bailey Ryals. She's been helping me build my strength gradually and it has never felt unmanageable. I've gone from using 2 pound weights with arm curls last January to this week, lifting one of those big barbell things with 65 pounds!

    My experience at FDF has been excellent. I've been working with John for four years. We know each other well and he knows just how far to push me or when to lighten up a bit (even when I don't!) I started at two-half hour sessions a week and after about a year I went to hour sessions. I'm a true believer that my workouts have kept me as active as I am. Definitely worth a try you won't regret.

    I’ve trained with FDF trainers for almost 10 years. The variety of full body workouts that I go through have helped me grow stronger, improve agility and flexibility, and keep me mentally sharp. I originally doubted that regular training would ever be a priority in my schedule, but my experience with FDF has proven to be a positive in my life. Good people who have their client’s best interest in mind at all times.

    I have been a client at FDF for over a decade. My trainers have all been excellent and currently my trainer, John Brock, is one of the best. They are all knowledgeable and careful to make sure their clients train safely. They have good, up to date equipment and the studios are comfortable and relatively private. The other clients I have met are also very pleased with their trainers and training here at FDF. I recommend them highly!

    Front Door Fitness is the Michael Jordan of gyms. Great people, excellent atmosphere, and all the right equipment I need. If you're looking for someone to train you personally this is the gym! The coaches/trainers REALLY care about you! 10/10 would recommend!

    Professional, friendly, and a very clean workout experience. I have been working with Bailey for over a year and she has made working out fun and accessible and still challenging. These workouts have helped me feel more at home in my body and I have noticed an increase in strength and flexibility even with simple daily tasks. I cannot recommend FDF enough! You will love it here!

    Great location and great gym. Clean, not crowded, great free weights selections and all necessary machines. The staff is friendly and the trainers are great. John Brock and Jack Roberts were awesome.

    I was never big into working out, until I began to work with my trainer Dayton. He helped me get in great shape for my wedding and we have been able to keep it going after! Great family feeling, with everyone always welcoming me when I arrive!

    Just started working out here about two weeks ago and I’ve been going every day. Im loving it! The staff and trainers are super helpful and give great advice! The gym is equipped with everything you’ll need to train right! I personally love that they have a weight sled. I highly recommend going here (If you need a trainer check out Jack Roberts here at front door. He’s great! Also highly recommend)

    I have been working with Jack from the start of my first pregnancy and can’t say enough positive things. Not only has working with Jack improved the sciatica I was experiencing early on in my 1st trimester, but also working with him has given me so much more energy through this entire pregnancy. I am confident that putting the time in with Jack now will pay off post pregnancy too and I look forward to continue working with him and reaching more of my fitness goals!

    FDF is the best. Always a positive environment to walk into. I’ve been training with Lindsey for several months now, I quit the gym where I started training with Lindsey so I could continue with her. She’s always challenging me, it never gets old or boring. Due to a medical issue, I’m limited in what I’m able to do, yet she’s always able to modify my workouts and customize them. You can tell how much she loves her job, she’s always upbeat and ready to work, it’s definitely her passion. I’m so happy with the results I’ve achieved with her, I’d never go to anyone else.

    My daughters has been using front door fitness for nearly 3 years! She has Emily who not only addressed her unique fitness style ( Grace is very petite and not all the equipment fits her form) no worries for her trainer. Emily has a philosophy of adapt and motivate!     I have had a wonderful experience with front door fitness! I had a great fitness assessment from Dustin to establish my baseline. Amanda was a wonderful help in the nutrician category. I even lost 8lbs on the cleanse! Stephanie has been my trainer, and has been awesome! She challenges me, pushes me to work hard, and supports me along the way. Overall, a polished organization!

    I have been a client for a few years and John Brock is my trainer. What I appreciate the most is the flexibility in scheduling. While I have set times, as life happens, sometimes those times don't work. John works very hard at finding alternative times for me to work out. John is a tremendous young man. He is knowledgeable, engaged, and very caring. John challenges me, yet is respectful and gentlemanly way. He has designed into our workouts specific exercises to address my personal physical needs. I appreciate that extra effort.

    I have nothing but positive things to say. I have been training with Jessica for over 3 months now. I started one year post-op full organ transplant and loaded with physical and mental limitations. Jess has helped me overcome them in a tremendous way. Here are a few top points. - Completely judgment free 💕 - Jess pushes me all while considering my many health issues. - She is perfectly communicative and has made it easy for stay on track even with disruptions in my schedule. - She is just lovely to be around and so encouraging - She is tracking + communicating my progress and making sure I'm meeting goals and staying interested in the activities/approach - Pricing is incredibly fair and there are tons of options for anyone just starting out or already in a routine - Extremely clean and safe (and that’s coming from an immunosuppressed client!)     I really enjoy the one-on-one training at Front Door Fitness. The studio is nicely equipped. The trainers are innovative, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and create unique workout programs towards achieving their clients goals! Front Door fitness also ensures that the studios are never overcrowded so you can workout safely, which is particularly important in this current environment.     I had the pleasure of having Grant Suttles for my personal training. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me navigate my goals post surgery. Grant was the perfect amount of professional, patient and motivational. We worked together everyday and I never once felt strange or awkward having a stranger in my home. If you are lucky and get a chance to work with him, DO IT!

    I have been working out with Emily for about 2 years now! During the pandemic, I have been able to keep up the workouts - it's the perfect set up for social distancing. We have the gym to ourselves and with both of us wearing masks, we feel very safe. She goes out of her way to schedule my sessions to be convenient and safe. I love that Emily and FDF offer 30 minute sessions - I have some pretty severe back and neck issues and it is a perfect amount of time! Highly recommend Emily!

    Have loved my experience working with Lindsey Garman at Front Door Fitness. The boot camp classes have made it like a personal training session, but with a small group. This allows me to get in more training and getting to be with a rad group of people and being a little bit competitive. Lindsey is very knowledgeable about what she is programming for us to do. No two classes are the same. I had some previous back and a shoulder injuries and she told me and helped me rehab them both and I am back to lifting with no pain. She pushes you to continue to get better plus has an infectious personality that keeps you coming back for more. She is also a nutritionist and has helped me figure out what works for my body and keeps it simple for me to follow. She is your biggest cheerleader. I lost 10 lbs in 6 months and felt the best I have in a long time. I’m now currently pregnant and still able to continue my work outs with her. Come try out a class you are sure to love it and come back for more.

    I’ve always said “I’m not a gym person.” Then I met trainer Lindsey Garman and am now a true convert! I had no idea I was capable of completing some of the challenges she has set before me. I’m 52 & have always been active, but I’m leaner, more toned & feel more confident about my health & body than I’ve ever felt in my life! Every workout has it’s challenges but Lindsey is always right there encouraging me to keep going. She cares about my fitness goals & wants me to not only reach them but exceed them. The entire staff is fun & friendly. I love Front Door Fitness!

    I started going to FDF with one of my friends about a year ago. We wanted a change from our at home workouts during covid. We also wanted to focus on our strength and toning. When we started training with Matt we got so much more than that. He not only helped us with our strength training and toning but also helped with our mobility. It’s a fun way to start the morning with Matt. He is genuine, caring and really knows his stuff! Highly recommend!

    Lindsey has been spot on when it comes to my training. When I come in to our workouts with a complaint of something hurting she knows the right exercises to get me out of pain. Never felt better and couldn’t have asked for a better trainer.

    As someone who has struggled with lower back pain and other issues recently, I can’t recommend Lindsey Garman and FDF enough. She strengthened my pain points and then built from there to where I’m able to do all the lifts I used to perform, but with better form, engaging my core, etc. She holds you accountable, tortures you and you come back excited for more!

    I was very uncomfortable with the idea of finding a trainer because if you make me feel guilty or bad about my fitness level, I'll run away, never to return. It was such a surprise when they heard my concerns and matched me with Megan, who totally understands my needs and my chronic pain. I look forward to going every week now.

    Everyone I have met has been incredibly helpful. My first consult was a great starting point to identify my goals and targets. While I have plenty of weight to lose, my goals are about strength and routine and I appreciate how the team has supported MY goals, not constantly pushing for weight loss. I was perfectly paired with my trainer and we have a lot of similarities. He is punctual and consistent, doesn’t complain about working out in my cold and grimy garage, and makes the hour fly by. It has helped me get back into a routine of moving more and has helped me feel more confident and sure footed. I’m getting stronger and actually want to move my body! Can’t recommend FDF enough!

    Dustin is just fabulous. He assesses your needs, is motivating without being a drill sargeant, conversational and dedicated. He is very patient (as I was someone who had never hit the gym before and am in my 60th decade). I can't say enough good things about Front Door and Dustin. Thank you!

We love that we can do it all virtually, since we live in different cities but he still pushes us to consistently improve. We enjoy seeing the results from our hard work from his sessions!

    I've been working with Front Door Fitness for over 3 years and they do a great job in keeping workouts interesting, motivating and very specific to my goals and schedule. I believe all their trainers take a personal interest in your health and well being. They recruit educated, high caliber trainers with integrity. They have your health, fitness and I feel they really care about me! I've worked out at other gyms and with other trainers. I have never had the personal experience I get with Front Door Fitness. Go for it!

    Front Door Fitness has been incredibly helpful in getting my physical health in order. I workout with an outstanding and knowledgeable trainer (Quincy) who is well educated in fitness, flexible with scheduling workouts, and ensuring that I am achieving my health goals. I appreciate how Quincy continuously asks how I am feeling/doing, and is always open to answering any questions or concerns I may have about physical health. The staff is friendly and informative when providing information about Front Door Fitness (pricing, scheduling, etc.) If you are serious about achieving your health goals, I would recommend Front Door Fitness.

    I have been using front door fitness for training for 2 ½ years now - and have seen significant improvement in flexibility, range of motion and strength. My trainer, Brian has been fantastic to work with, keeping my routine new and different throughout these 2 years. I could not have gotten the same results on my own. I have been very pleased, and would recommend them highly.
