Not clean. Also, they tried charging for carry out boxes without informing us that we would be charged. When we asked why we were charged, the young woman tried to start an argument by saying that we have to take it to go now that we have already been sitting. I don’t really understand why we were charged an extra 2.00 for this but it was unfortunate. However, the food was decent. The sandwich didn’t have fresh vegetables unfortunately. I have seen much higher quality Vietnamese food in kc for much cheaper. I will not be returning, but it was worth a try for a Tuesday date day. I would be careful with the person in the photo she has a bad temper. She stared at us the entire meal and it was very uncomfortable.

Just had the lemongrass spicy chicken Banh Mi from Bun Mee Phan in KC! It was so good I ate the whole thing without even putting it down to take a drink! Love the baguette & the combination of the chicken with the spicy sauce, lemongrass and pickled cucumber and carrots. The cilantro gives it a great punch of flavor with every bite!

After reading other reviews, I saw a total d*** wrinkle say they have bad attitudes here. I can assure you, we’ve been coming here for two years now and have had only amazing experiences and even better food! Best vegan and non vegan pho I’ve had in Kansas City!

Great Banh Mi! Quick service and tasty food! Definitely coming back again to try out the rest of the menu. This is now my go to spot for Banh Mi.

Decent food, great prices, generous portions... However meat in both dishes was definitely on the dry side.

Great little spot. Simple add-ons for an amazing broth. I have only tried the Pho each visit, but I have not had a reason to pick anything new. Real chop sticks! Looked like a couple(husband/wife, brother/sister) ran business.

Place wasn’t the cleanest, but the food was REALLY good! I ordered the shrimp spring rolls as an appetizer, which were HUGE..!! They come three to an order, and could be an entire meal as big as they are, most others are half the size! Ordered the carmelized pork, and it was excellent! Will definitely return!

Cozy atmosphere with available outdoor seating and interior seating spaced adequately apart. The staff was very friendly with very prompt service. The Carmelized Pork Belly Bánh Mì is probably the best thing I have ever eaten. The pork is super well seasoned and juicy. Their jalapenos are probably the spiciest I have ever had, but they are so worth it. I don't know where they're getting their baguettes but they are so crusty and crunchy.

Employees are great! Willing to go the extra mile to satisfy. Food is served in large portions and is fantastic! Didn't know where they moved from the old location up North Oak, but now that we found them, we will be back often!

While traveling past KC, we stumbled upon this hidden gem for a quick dinner. The restaurant was clean and the service was prompt. Pho is generously portioned with good favor. Bun bo Hue may not match the authenticity of the one I had in Philly but it wasn't a letdown. It carries a rich flavor and just the right amount of spice. It all comes with a wallet friendly price tag.

I’ve been coming here with my family for years, even since the old location. I’ve never had a bad experience. The owners are so friendly and the food comes out very fast. It’s a good “hidden gem”. My favorite is the grilled pork banh mi - I’ve lived in so many places but I always come back here when I’m in town. The spring rolls are huge and taste delicious. 11/10!

The new location is much more spacious for dining in. The grilled pork spring rolls were the best I've had anywhere. I also had the grilled pork bahn mi sandwich-it was super tasty too! The servers are very helpful if your not so familiar with Vietnamese food.

The best banh mi in KC! Had the grilled pork and beef sandwiches, both excellent.

This is our favorite place to get bubble tea. It looks beautiful & tastes delicious- very rich & creamy. Friendly service and peaceful atmosphere. Can’t wait to try more of their food!

Some of the best food you can get north of the river. The pork belly bun mee sandwich is superb, and is as messy as it is delicious. The family that runs the place is very kind and have no issues discussing the menu with you if you think something might be too spicy. As a local, I can't recommend them enough.

Ordered a banh mi and requested mayo instead of pate. The person taking the order seemed confused and almost hesitant to make the change, she then asked if spicy mayo was okay. I'm guessing they only carry spicy mayo? It's not uncommon for banh mi to have mayo or butter instead of pate. I ordered the salty lemonade, which had been described to me as a margarita without booze. It was awful. My coworker had the regular lemonade and it seems like it's made from powder, the drink was oddly hot as the ice cubes were trying to cool it. Maybe they use hot water to dissolve their concentrate, but it tasted terrible. I didn't drink it after the first sip. The bread they used was not the usual baguette, it had too much bread to filling ratio and it was not toasted. Really skimpy on the filling, and even though they put spicy mayo on it, it was very dry. It was missing pickled daikon. My coworkers dish was the short rib special, it looked incredible greasy and overall underwhelming.

I could tell this place was gonna be lacking when they brought the pho out and the broth was brown in color . Spicy lemon grass chicken was too salty and not spicy at all . Everything was overly sweet or overly salty . Ube waffle was dense but had good flavor . There’s way better places in KC for good pho, only came here because they had bahn mi, which wasn’t assembled well, and the pork was again, too sweet . The best thing I ordered was the iced coffee.

Do yourself a favor and read the lowest reviews before coming here. I'm surprised that an establishment with this level of customer service is still in business. Every bad review responded to with 0 accountability. This should have been a huge red flag for my wife and I. Instead we decided to try a new pho spot today and were excited only to find customer service is rude, non existent, and the food is overly sweet and misleading. I ordered the pork chop platter and got pork bugulgi instead. Not a solid piece of pork instead shreds of pork over rice. Half way through my meal my bowl of pho dropped and shattered on the floor and while I'm trying to clean it up with a handful of napkins there was absolutely no response from the staff. Yet they made sure to ask me to pay for the bowl on my way out and took a picture of our vehicle. 5 stars for visibility and to save anyone else from the terrible experience we had.
