Overpriced for the location with little amenities - no free water! Overall, check in was seamless and staff are very responsive. The property was clean with plenty of free parking (nice perk). The lounge is closed on the weekend - I’ve experienced this throughout this year in different locations, get it together Marriott. No issues with the room or beds. I found everything to be fine and had no issues with the bed. Rooms were very clean upon arrival. I get annoyed when you stay at a 4-5 star hotel and they do not offer free water - this should be standard across the board. They did offer a breakfast buffet in lieu of the lounge being closed and it was okay. Standard eggs, bacon, and potatoes with pastries. You don’t get amenities for the rate they charge. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND and you would probably get the same or better at a 3 star in the same neighborhood.

Michael and the kitchen and event staff at the Marriott Burr Ridge were exceptionally helpful and accommodating in hosting our group at their outdoor patio following a memorial service for a family member. We arrived to find the table and appetizers set and ready. Our dinner was great, with very polite and professional service. They truly went above and beyond to help us out, even preparing off menu dishes for our kids. The hotel itself was clean and well updated with spacious rooms. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're in the area and booking family gatherings here as well.

Enjoyable stay. Recommended with enthusiasm. Seems like there has been a room refresh and overall facility replenishment over the past several years. Stayed here also at various points throughout the pandemic. Friendly staff. Good location for a multitude of dining and entertainment options. Stand alone building. Ample parking. My only reason for not making this a five star review, which to be fair is a little petty on my side, is because of the lacking evening reception of the M lounge and replenishment of water / soda.

This place is the smart choice. I stayed all week. Its a safe location with plenty of parking & a very attentive staff. They kept a big package safe that I mailed ahead of time. Their housekeeping was on point & brought me extra coffee & towels after chat through the app. They take care of their guests!

The staff here are extremely nice and ready to help with anything and everything. The location is great. The room is okay for what you pay for. I believe the rate we paid is because of memorial day weekend but overall no regrets. I’d stay here again.

I visited this hotel for a couple of days attending a conference. I did not stay in the hotel. The food that was provided by the hotel for the conference was excellent. I spoke with Jill who works for the Hotel and she confirmed that the food presented during the conference was food that was prepared by the hotel and the restaurant staff. There was a specific Indian dish that was presented at this conference that was provided by an outside caterer and it was excellent! From an event planning perspective they sometimes use outside catering to supplement food prepared for the event. I would have to say I was surprised and impressed by the food that was provided. I enjoyed the salads that were presented, the specific Indian dish brought in for the event, and the chicken fajita ingredients/nacho bar that were presented were very tasty. I also tried the Butternut squash soup presented on the second day of the and it was VERY good. The conference area was very busy but seemed to be functional for the conference that I attended. The event rooms are typical boardroom type rooms that can be separated into four smaller individual rooms. There is a main hall type entry area as well that extends the length of all four of the rooms and was being put to good use by Manage Engine providing additional opportunities for speaking to their employees at the conference. Overall, I think the Marriott and ME did a great job in administering this event.

The Marriott Southwest Burr Ridge made our wedding weekend so memorable. From the bridal spaces to the food -- everything was perfectly executed. We took our first look pictures on the back terrace and the setting was ideal! The pictures came our stunning! Our breakfast the next morning was held in a private conference space. The food was great and the staff provided wonderful service. Thank you to the Marriott team from catering to operations to sales for making our wedding weekend so much more than we could have imagined!

My wife and I traveled to Chicago for the 4th of July weekend and had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Marriott location. Our experience was truly amazing. The rooms were beautiful and the service was simply brilliant. We especially enjoyed the customer service of a young gentleman by the name of Justin. He was very friendly and most helpful.

Convenient location right off the highway, beautiful foyer, and entry; nice room layout and great staff. I added a “Special Request” through the app, and they (extra towels and pillows) were in my room when I checked in. The pool area was clean and had great presentation. The breakfast had plenty options and cleaned after each guest finished- ensuring that there was always a place to find a seat. Only Con was no USB Ports. Keep doing what you’re doing!

If your picking this Marriott over another place because you club membership, don't bother. The lounge is pathetic breakfast no better than the Springhill and nothing but a bag of chips in the evening (if not all gone already, with wrappers left on the tables most the day). It was great before COVID, but now no point in picking this one.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge for a three-day business trip, and my overall experience was very positive. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the hotel's elegant and well-maintained appearance. The lobby was inviting, and the entire property appeared well-maintained. The cleanliness of the hotel was also impressive, and it was clear that the staff took great care in maintaining a welcoming environment. As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, I was fortunate to receive an upgrade to a suite on the top floor of the hotel. As a Platinum member I also had access to the concierge lounge, which provided complimentary breakfast and, more notably, a breathtaking view of the sunrise. From this vantage point, you could even catch a glimpse of Chicago's skyline in the distance, adding a touch of urban charm to the experience. However, while the suite was spacious, I did find the floor plan somewhat inefficient. The living area, although generously sized, lacked windows, which made it feel a bit sad. Additionally, the bathroom in the suite was on the smaller side, which was a minor inconvenience. Despite these minor drawbacks, my stay at the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge was overall highly enjoyable. The upscale atmosphere, attentive service, and stunning sunrise views from the concierge lounge more than made up for any minor inconveniences. I would certainly consider returning to this hotel for future business trips, especially given the advantages of being a Marriott Bonvoy member.

My bathroom smelled like an old wet towel and they had 1 bartender for 50 people but omg the lamb chop is off the chart and so is the beet salad. The jacuzzi was very large and relaxing and the pool room heated. I liked everything but my bathroom and the TV reception kept coming in and out but overall I would go EAT there again. Kinda pricey but worth it.

Great location, nice rooms, very comfortable beds, and the people that work there are very nice. The only issue I had was that one elevator was out, and there were three weddings there. They didn't have a stairwell that was convenient to find or take with an elevator out, and there were lines of people at times by the elevator. Five stars otherwise!

When we arrived, our mastermind had already begun in the conference room. It was larger than any conference room I had ever seen prior. Architecturally It was grand and highly symmetrical from every corner. The pathways leading up to that room was extremely well thought out in the ways of reminding who's entering that we built this for you to congregate and sit with each other to celebrate and bounce off your ideas to reinforce them and grow the action you take and the experience you give. Indeed, I wish to go back again someday to explore the neighborhood. BECAUSE the neighborhood that we drove through right before the trees cleared was even more of a nighttime fantasy.

in the several years I've been staying, I'm starting to see some decline. They could possibly use some upgrading but the things they have right is location, some staff are really top notch and their restaurant is not bad at all for breakfast. Overall it is a pleasant place. However seeing stained pillowcases when you first get into the bed is NOT acceptable. Cleaning staff needs to catch these things its just gross.

Tons of ants in my bathroom. I asked the front desk to move me to another room and they could not accommodate. They said they would have maintenance sweep up the ants, as if that's totally going to keep them from coming back. They told me that since I'm on the first floor, ants are kind of to be expected. Like that's the standard for a hotel room on the first floor LOL. I was there for a wedding, and the bride's suite was also on the first floor. Sure as hell hope she didn't have the same problem. Worst experience I've ever had staying at a Marriott. It's unfortunate, because I've never had a bad experience at their hotels before. Sure hope somebody sees this and wants to make it right. This was a rather expensive room.

Great hotel with great staff! I stayed here for a work conferences, and everyone was amazing. The food that the kitchen put out was superb, and the bartenders pored GREAT drinks! I highly recommend this location for your next conference or event.

I must say, me and my fiancé just booked a room for the weekend! And we had so much goo on we just needed to get away! We accidentally booked for July and it was June🤦🏾‍♀️ But when I say the two that was working the front desk saw us in distraught. The one with the dreads said don’t worry about we can fix this! Gave us their very last room with an amazing view overlooking the water! It was such a Pleasant experience! We will be back!

Rooms were large, clean, quiet, and beds were very comfortable with nice sheets and comforter. Large lobby area with a bar. Plenty of free parking avaiable with shopping and restaurants directly across the street. Totally enjoyed our two night stay.

We are so appreciative of Ella, Jill, and the entire staff at Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge for making our wedding fantasies come true on January 22, 2013, for the outstanding service we received from everyone and the world-class chefs who created one of the best meals we've ever had. People are still raving about the food! Speaking highly of the food's quality, the stunning and delectable chicken dish, the soft and savory fire-grilled steaks, and even the vegetarians who said their vegetarian dish was the nicest dinner they'd ever eaten, The Marriott in Burr Ridge is the ideal location for your wedding celebration; contact them today.

I cannot say enough about this Marriott. From the exceptional staff to the rooms and the dining experience. Arrived back from Africa after 2 days of travel, wonderful to be in a quieter location yet still have shops and amenities nearby. Thanks for making my stay great!

Giving it five stars. For the FIRST time, I have zero complaints in a hotel. Pros: The room is immaculately clean and big. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. I felt safe. THe lobby and bar was very nice. It had a good gym area, a pool and a nice hot tub. I wish I would have brought my swimsuit. I'll definitely stay here again. Cons: No free coffee. Breakfast buffet was not included with room. $20 small selection, but not bad.

We stay at this hotel when we come home to visit. Perfect location, nice clean rooms, washer and dryer on lower level . All good things but the staff make the stay even better. Front desk always recognizes us and are so helpful. Malisa at the bar will take excellent care of you. She’s so personable and always puts you in a good mood!

Nice hotel. Has a bar and restaurant area in the lobby. Pool / hot tub / fitness area in the lower level was also nice. Good location with plenty of restaurants and shopping very close by. Right off the highway too.

So grateful to Ella, Jill and the entire team at Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge for helping to make all of our wedding dreams come true on 1/21/23, for the incredible five-star hospitality of our vendors and guests, extraordinary service from everyone, and honestly the world-class chefs, for preparing one of the best meals we’ve ever had anywhere, people are still talking the food! about the quality of the meal, the gorgeous and delicious chicken dish, the fire grilled steaks, how tender and flavorful they were, and even the vegetarians told me their vegetarian dish was the best meal they’d ever had! if you are wondering where to hold your wedding reception, the Marriott in Burr Ridge is the best, give them a call, check it out, you won’t be disappointed. You too can have the wedding of your dreams. Thank you again Marriott Burr Ridge!! We love you, Love Leigh & Paul Kopec !!

Did not provide house keeping until asked. Initials essentials cost $160 was not documented properly. Created lot of problem while checking out. The attendee jumped on saying everything sorted for $160 however, when asked for bill which was not available, and finally upon verification they provided $81 returns. No proper documentation, did not provide support to book taxi. Looks like on the top level they behave to be like racists. Overall not a pleasant experience at all. Not many options for breakfast. Very slow in service, did not had pleasant experience with the reception staff. Quite surprising that Marriott not having system to capture essentials amount given in cash. Also the details did not get transferred to billing seamlessly. Billing team almost kept me waited for one hour to provide billing information which could have potentially led to missing the flight. Asked for one hour extension to check out unfortunately did not provide any extension even to addition payments, later kept me waited for one hour to finalize invoice.

The hotel was well located, close to Midway and Chicago O'Hare airports, half an hour from downtown Chicago, Shopping plaza. The hotel was very well laid out, with a huge lobby, bar, breakfast area, and massive halls for wedding and other social events one might want to hold at this location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were well laid out, clean and comfortable. We had a great experience staying at this hotel for a wedding, which we attended a few days ago.

Clean, neat room with very nice walk in shower. Great water pressure. Very nice indoor pool and hot tub which we used with our grandchildren. No complimentary breakfast, but a restaurant and small Starbucks station in the lobby area and many nearby restaurants. Very nice, helpful desk clerks.

We were planning a wedding and scheduled a visit to the Burr Ridge Marriott. I was impressed with the time and attention they took to show us the hotel, amenities and gathering spaces. We have a lot of choices and are looking forward to finalizing our wedding plans. Thanks!

Burr ridge is an upscale community and getting accomodation is a bit difficult at times. Marriott here is good, very close to highway. I like walking around the pond by the evening and feeding the ducks. Starbucks for breakfast and coffee nearby and also has a grocery store couple blocks away. Hotel was good and clean with restaurant and bar attached. I liked cocktails more than food but restaurant closes around a bit after dinner, wish they had bar open a bit late. Stayed for a week and satisfied with everything.

Everything was clean and nice. The staff was helpful with our girls hockey team. They were gracious enough to give us a place for team meals and were proud to do so. Will be back next time in Chicago!

The night custodian on January 16th was SO helpful and friendly when one if the kids in our group got sick. She had been trained well to handle the situation and made him feel better about an embarrassing moment. The check-in attendants were all welcoming. It was very clean and comfortable.
