End of June review: The pool is a lie. Moved in in March, I get it, too early for the pool.... So why is it almost July, halfway through summer, and still no pool?! It's literally one of the reasons why we moved in here. Why offer it as an amenity if it's not a thing residents can use!?! For weeks we haven't been able to do laundry in our facility because someone cut the plugs off the dryer cords. Another reason we chose this place, the convenience of going downstairs to do laundry. The windows got replaced, I believe early May, and the damage to our window ledges and edges have not been fixed. I haven't even got an acknowledgement of my email (from 6+ weeks ago) stating I didn't wanna be held responsible for damage after I moved out and inquired about it getting fixed. August Update: still no pool, still no laundry facility, and now the entryway is raining inside the common area stairwell! October update: No pool all summer. Gave up in September trying to go downstairs to do laundry and just go to laundry world around the corner. Last good rain we had it was still raining inside in the front entryway stairwell. Still no repairs or acknowledgement of damage from the window replacement, what, 5 months ago? Yyeeaahhhhhh. Also, every time someone moves out, we find a few roaches looking for a new home to move into. We tends to it right away and thankfully keep a clean home so after a few days the situation is 100% fixed, but prepare yourself for unwanted "friends"!!!

I didn't live here but my boyfriend did and I was over at least twice a week, it's just an awful place to live. We could never open the windows because they said they were going to replace the screens and never did, the appliances were old, and the hallways always stank but that's all the build up to the fact that management let the building get INFESTED with ROACHES. Two months after my boyfriend moved in, he started to see roaches. He told staff and they sent a guy to spray his apartment only. My boyfriend soon suspected that they were coming from the apartment next door. Both him and the exterminator shared with management this opinion and the need to get into the next door apartment to eradicate the problem. Management did nothing, the roach problem went from manageable to a complete infestation by the time he moved out. We couldn't go a day without seeing at least two of them on the walls, in the cabinets, on the couch, in the floor, FALLING FROM THE CEILING. It was so stressful and awful, and no matter how much my boyfriend tried he could not get management to see reason and fix the problem. Finally they went into the apartment next door to find a full blown infestation AND an unreported electrical fire, the apartment was abandoned but the tenant still paid rent so management took no action even after seeing that. By the time he moved out there was only one tenant left in the building and we assumed they were waiting for her lease to end to do anything. Completely useless and ineffective management left us to fend for ourselves against an infestation that they essentially caused. DO NOT LIVE HERE

By far the worst renting experience I’ve ever had. The heat has been off while the weather is below zero. Not to mention it’s Christmas Eve & I’m hosting a Christmas party tomorrow. The windows are not sealed properly, so I feel every gust of wind in my apartment. I was told they were putting in new windows about 2 years ago. That still hasn’t happened for my building. I’ve called the office, called the emergency maintenance line, left several messages, still no one has returned my call and I’m freezing in my own apartment at this point. RENTERS please don’t be fooled by the outside appearance of this complex. Management will put up new dog parks before taking care of the major issues such as the old boilers that keep going out & the random fire alarms going off. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPLEX COMPLETELY Update: Morgan Properties will try to violate your renter’s rights by conducting illegal random searches of your unit. I requested to know the date they plan to inspect my unit, & was rudely told it will be anywhere between 6/26/23- 7/31/23. After that, the manager Veronica walked away while in mid conversation. Customer service is at an all time low with this company. Not even sure how someone like that is employed.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. I lived here from Nov ‘17 - Nov ‘18. When I moved into the apartment it didn’t seem too bad. The carpet was definitely not replaced there were stains on the carpet and I could see where the previous renters had all their furniture due to indents in the carpet. The cabinets had stains all over them and the fridge did not work. It took them 3 days to fix my fridge after I had bought groceries... leaving me no where to put them. Throughout my year I dealt with neighbors that fought constantly and loudly to the point of frightening me and my safety.. when I complained I was told it was them “playing their Netflix too loud” I mean come on I know the difference between a show and two people going at it. The whole place smells of smoke and weed. I eventually got ants in my bathroom due to tiles popping out. Also my bathtub was painted over with PAINT and during the year it would chip off.. talk about not sanitary. The guest policy was also ridiculous, don’t count on having more than one person with a car over because you only get one parking pass and cars need them at all time or they tow. During the winter it’s very dangerous, they do not take care of the snow or ice and let it pile up. I slipped on ice going to my car one morning and dislocated my knee and ended up in the ER. The grounds are filthy dirty, and residents don’t care where they leave their garbage or care about others cars (I saw children playing tag around my car, people blowing off fireworks next to my car, and also people playing catch and the ball bouncing off my car). This was my first apartment by myself and I lived alone and never felt 100% safe.

Went here to look at a property and was told the price I was quoted went up because they base it off of the market value. Never heard of an apartment complex changing their prices daily. I was not told this when I spoke to the rep to make the appointment. They tried to show me a unit that was renovated but stated the one that was available was not renovated so why are you showing me something I won’t actually have? I didn’t even bother to see it. Judging by the reviews I dodged a bullet and I am not so sad about completely wasting my time going up there.

I have had business with the Leasing Office of this place. The short, large black woman in the office is incredibly rude, arrogant, and impossible to deal with. With her being the public's contact, it's no wonder that Windsor Lakes Apartments has an extremely bad reputation and a 1.8 rating from the public. The owners need to do a much better job of hiring people who are professional, assistive, and not rudely condescending in their dealing with the public. I can't imagine ever living here after being subjected to the office staff's unprofessional conduct. UPDATE: Needed to return to this place. Nothing - absolutely nothing - has changed! Stay away!!!

My girlfriend has lived here for the duration of a one year lease and dear God, avoid at all costs. Water is shut off biweekly without warning, her car has been vandalized, the appliances are approaching 30 years old, the air conditioning works so infrequently that the median temperature of her apartment has been 85-90 degrees all summer. Her mail has been stolen, she has been harassed in the parking lot and the entire building reeks of cigarette and pot smoke. The front office is so incapable and unresponsive you would be better off not having a staff at all.

This place is the slums. Broken everything. Broken whirlpool, pool always closed. Broken appliances, no water 💦 always shut off daily. Gym is outdated not all equipment works. Buildings are not secure. Very outdated everything. They trick you with there advertising, but none of that is there. I vacated when the building department came in with code enforcement and marked my unit uninhabitable and I had to vacate. They sued me for eviction and lost because they where collecting rent on a unit that was not up to code which is not legal. I’m in court suing them because they breeched the lease when my apartment was not up to code. They had no right to collect any money. They failed to provide me an adequate unit. Fair housing violations with not following the dog breed and count restrictions on dogs. The white people pay pet rent and have pet permits. I have proof and reported this to the state of Illinois. This place is disgusting‼️

Worst Place to Live. Beware everyone who wants to move in, This is the worse place to live IN, The bunch of roaches coming out of every pipeline coming to your unit. Management won’t help you solve the issue they might give you a new unit to move in too, but you dont know if it’s going to be the same thing. I will post review to that if it’s same in future that is if they will help me.. my recommendation to move into this apartment community is bellow zero. Also Kevin in office management doesn’t help for anything please don’t go with kevin.worst worst worst apartment in my life..very very very disappointed I am waiting for my lease to be over please don’t come here.just office looks nice and clean everything else is garbage.I hate this apartment.they always remind us to pay our rent when the times comes every month ask for rent and if you get late by any chance than they will put late fee right away and when it comes to providing a service no body cares nobody comes and nobody answers. Unless if you have extra money to donate come and live in this apartment PLEASE BE AWARE!!You can go anywhere but here. 11/09/2023 Wow what a lie.its seems like they service our unit today and they give us a proof but the proof is here.they didn’t provide any service and they just put this kind of note I don’t think so they can fix the roaches issues.because its everywhere in this apartment I am tired now I never see in my life this kind of management and apartment worst Apartment in Illinois.I clean my house every day and even I tried by my self to solve the issue and Me and My Husband already requested before like if they can not solve the issue than just give us a new Apartment.but they don’t care about that.

Not enough parking . 10+ garages in use for office only at 1/4 full so nothing for residences. Smokers smoke in laundry room and front door. BOTH ARE COMMON AREAS AND ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE SMOKED IN. Smoke comes in our bedroom when our windows are closed. Walls paper thin. Apt was to be upgraded but wasn't. 17 mo. And still waiting for tub, screens and front door lock they broke. Maintenance tickets deleted when work not done. Have screenshots of everything.

I had the great displeasure of working with Kevin. It took over 20 calls, several hours sitting on the phone with Kevin, and over a month to get him to send me a lease agreement. It seemed pretty deliberate that he was dragging his feet for some reason, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt since I thought maybe he was just having a rough time emotionally with his work life. He FINALLY sent the lease to me the the DAY I WAS MOVING, I was stressed that it took that long but relieved that I finally had an apartment secured for my move, or so I thought... I didn't have time to review and sign the lease since I was driving across the country, but a few hours before I arrived to the apartment complex, Kevin called me to tell me the studio apartment I had been intending to move into for the last month was actually not available to be moved into until a WEEK later because the previous tenants had completely trashed the place and they had somehow waited until I was almost there to inspect it and find that the studio was uninhabitable. Kevin said that I can either wait a week to move in (which means I would need to get a hotel which they wouldn't pay for, and is also not an option because I needed to return the U-Haul that has all my stuff in it), or I can move into a 1-bedroom that he (conveniently) has available for about a hundred dollars a month more. I asked if I could just store my stuff in one of their vacant apartments until the studio is repaired, or if they would put me up in ANY other studio or 1 bedroom for the price we had agreed on for my original lease. Kevin said no to both (I now suspect it was a lie that no other studios were available). He then said, 'the way I see it, since your stuff is already here you have really no other choice'. I muttered that that seems suspicious and he immediately exploded angrily 'WHAT DID YOU SAY?!'. I tried to deescalate and said 'nevermind I'll sign for the 1-bedroom and he immediately calmed down and started working on my paperwork more efficiently than he had done anything for me over the last month and had a lease to me in a few minutes. While Kevin was predatory, the others in the leasing office seemed to be complicit. When I went to move in, Kevin gave me a master key and gave me the wrong room number, so I walked into somebody else's apartment. When I finished my move-in checklist and told Kevin that the bathroom faucets need caulked and the ceiling fan makes a crazy noise when you turn it on he said 'oh all submit a maintenance request right away for you.' Needless to say at this point that that never happened and still haven't been fixed. The mailbox key he gave me didn't fit my mailbox and after 2 calls to the office and 2 physical times walking to the office and 3 WEEKS later, I finally got a key that worked and was able to get my mail for the first time. When I turn on the oven, it doesn't work and beeps at me for a few minutes with an "f2" error. I submitted a maintanance request but it was never fixed. I went into the office to get a new parking pass for my car before it expired and I was about to go out of town, but the new leasing agent (Kevin had quit) said 'oh you don't need a new one yet because we're not towing'. I insisted that I needed one anyway and he said 'nah you'll be fine' so I left empty handed. As if it was planned, a couple weeks later while I was out of country I get an email saying they are resuming towing... The people here also leave something to be desired. The building almost always wreaks of cigarette/weed smoke, the grass is littered with dog poop, and several cars in the parking lot have bullet holes in them or their bumpers dragging on the ground. One day when I went to pick up my laundry (cycle wasn't even supposed to have finished yet) I walked in to find that someone had stopped my dry cycle (very early) pulled out all my clothes onto the floor, then draped my very wet blanket over them to make everything wet (very funny prank I guess). (All photos are from move-in except for the laundry incident)

Terrible maintenance, and leasing office employees. Nothing ever gets done. They are VERY RUDE AND IGNORANT. When I first moved in the refrigerator was not working I WAITED 3 months for a new refrigerator and maintenance workers were very inappropriate when they arrived. Building manager IS BEHOND TERRIBLE: says one thing about bills and then I get charged 2x more of what was told for utility bills. I lived in a studio but basically paying for a 1 bedroom apartment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTING HERE. I would constantly have to call to even reach anyone, and then wait so long for anything to get done. I could have done all of the maintenance work myself if that was the case... so unprofessional and I’m so glad I’m no longer living there. :)

I am a five year renter here, and watched this 4 Star complex reduce itself to a two star rating. Maintenance has been deficient. Spa has been broken for 5 years. Swimming Pool has also a few issues. Dog Waste everywhere.

I would not recommend moving here, you really get what you pay for. When I first moved in the bathroom sink sprayed water everywhere and the fridge leaked. It took them well over a year to fix the fridge. The sink was fixed temporarily but is now spraying water again (2 years later). My toilet would not flush for almost 2 weeks. I called maintenance every day during this time frame but there was no rush to fix the issue. There has been mold in my bathroom for 2 years. When I clean it, it just comes back. There’s also mold under my kitchen sink. My car got towed due to the parking sticker falling out my window. I had to pay at the tow yard to get my car back. I then went to the leasing office and they told me they are aware that the stickers fall out of the windows, they were working on getting stickers from a new vendor. Due to it being there fault I asked for the cost of the towing to be reduced from my rent. They said no and allowed me to pay my rent late without a late fee since I explained I used a portion of my rent money to get my car back. I turned my heat down as low as it can go but my apartment is still 90 degrees. My a/c doesn’t work, I called the leasing office and was told they will open a ticket but it can’t be fixed until we have 5 consecutive days of high temps. I would open a window but I live in a bottom unit so my windows sit on the ground. My lock broke and I called the leasing office, the person was very nonchalant. It was not a major issue to them that I was at work and my apartment was open to walk into. The building doors don’t close, great when my hands are full, terrible if an intruder wants to come in the building. Someone broke the glass door. Glass was everywhere, whoever cleaned it did a half job. Took them a couple of weeks to replace the door. The only good I can think of is we don’t have bugs 🤷🏽‍♀️ Can’t wait until my lease is up at the end of the month, I’ll finally be out of this nightmare

Terrible apartment complex. If you have to live here do not live on the 1st floor. The office doesnt care about any of your problems. If something needs to be fixed your better off doingit yourself. The maintenance dont do their job at all, and want to blame the next guy for the job not being done. I have lived here for over a year and just this year had a major problem with this place. I most certainly would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Thursday July 28 2016 my apartment flooded. Again on friday july 29th 2016. I called the office they said they would send someone to have the water removed. I told them when they moved my bed away from the wall in the master bedroom they broke part of my bed frame as well as tore up part of the floor. They sent someone on august 5, 2016 to fix the mold problem in the walls. He removed the old walling and came back august 8th 2016 to finish the job. I was told someone would be out that august 5th to replace the screens in the Windows, that was never done. I informed the office several times i do not have carpet, for a week they kept sending the carpet people to fix the house. I informed the office that there are several parts of the floor in the master bedroom that needed to be fixed, as well as part of the kitchen, and the hallway by the bathroom. Finally they sent out a vendor to fix the hall way, and part of the master bedroom. I called and was informed that the dresser needed to be removed from the room in order for everything to be fixed. Since i had to move everything out of my room there is nowhere for my children or myself to be able to manover in this apartmwnt and have been staying with a family member. I was told august 12 2016 the maintenence manager was going to call the vendor to come back out, and I would be notified of what day. I called again on august 19th 2016, and was told the vendor was going to call the maintenance manager when they had time and would let me know. I never heard anything, so I went in person on august 26th, 2016. The office called the maintenance manager to find out why they have not come. I was told by the office someone was supposed to have come out already, the maintenance manager was going to call them monday august 29th 2016 and see if they will come the same day. I called again on august 27th 2016, due to more flooding. I informed them they were supposed to have the screens replaced. I was told the maintenance would be out to do it that day, which again was not done. I was finally called back on monday august 29th 2016 and informed they would be out on tuesday august 30th 2016. When nobody came to the house by 5 pm. I called the office, was told the property manager will call the vendor and i would get a call back. When they did call back, they stated the vendor would come the following day Wednesday august 31, 2016. The vendor finally showed up and when informed of what needed to be done, he stated he was only informed of a small patch, he had to call his supervisor. He then came back with one of the maintenance employees, they looked in the bed room and left. When they came back the maintence employee stated that his manager stated that they were only supposed to fix a part in the kitchen and nothing else was said about the bed room. I have been dealing with this for over a month and nothing is being done. The entire time i called the office to check on when my house was going to be fixed was for the master bedroom. Now they tell me they will not fix the master bedroom flooring. When asked for some kind of reimbursement since I was being dragged around about this and had to stay elsewhere, they said i have to contact corporate. They told my husband corporate doesnt have a phone number, only an email. So when I sent out an email, the office called me stating that the office manager said they would not give me a refund of any kind. Basically told me i was SOL

I would give the property management company Morgan Properties -5 stars if I could. Worst management company ever, I lived here for 14 years but ever since Morgan properties took over, things went downhill. When I lived there, their maintenance staff was not good, they would never fix problems in a timely manner. For example, we had many days without heat and water throughout the past year, many without even giving advance notice. Morgan properties is a fraudulent management company that tries to rip off their tenants using ABSOLUTE LIES. I moved out about 4 months ago and now they are sending me a bill for rent for the month that I didn't even live there. They signed my intent to vacate form and I was told that I was good and I should be expecting my deposit back in a few weeks. Forget the deposit, after 4 months they sent me a bill for $1000 that I don't even owe. I have made multiple calls and emails to fix this with no response whatsoever. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE AND FRAUDULENT MANAGEMENT COMPANY. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND MORGAN PROPERTIES.

This is the worst complex ever do not move here. When I first moved over where the bathroom would flooded they ruin all of my bathroom rugs. Fast forward to this March the dishwasher end up flooding my studio I call the 24 hour maintenance no one showed up until 2 clock in the morning the maintenance man claim he had to take his son to the er by then the carpet was soaked. I had to spend four days at my friends house because the office told me everything will be fixed that Monday but wasn’t until Tuesday. I went back to my studio thinking everything was ok one of the maintenance showed up talking about he about to fix the dishwasher the maintenance man turns on the dishwasher it floods again I had to call my friend to come help me turn off the water it floods the carpet again. I went to the office the head office person is extremely rude had the nerve to tell me they were not going to take money off of my rent because everything will be fixed and they order a new dishwasher this was in March it’s now June it’s still not fixed I can’t use the kitchen because if I turn the water on it will floods I have made countless efforts to have them fix this and nothing this is why I’m moving do not rent here this place is terrible

Where do I beginning... I regret moving into this place, not all places are great but if the only thing you have to offer via advertising is your unused club house with the green pool and broken gym equipment then this is the place for you. For years I put in work order requests for a broken mailbox, chipped paint in the window seal, lifting carpet you can trip on in the kitchen, jammed door base for my entry way (my front door doesn't close properly), mold in the bathroom, electrical issues with the a.c. unit, water damage in the kitchen, broken tile pieces in the bathroom floor... I can go on I seen work orders in only to get responses that it's been taken care of but nothing has. The staff that works in office do not not nothing' other then how to take your complaint and agree with you. The managers that do work there are never there ever!!! I see I am not the only one complaining about how they raise your rent but don't fix the problem. Save yourself the headache, drama and energy live some where else.

Their leasing office is a joke. It's impossible to get any answers over the phone. They made a mistake on the billing and then charged me late fee. I first called them but without any luck (waited for over a week for the call back). Then, I went to the office to dispute that. Lady said that she will call or sent me an email but I guess that's too much for them. Horrible customer service. They prove more than once, not being able to take a shower is non emergency for them.

I lived here for a year finally moving out this past February. I didnt do my research before moving in and that was a huge mistake. I've never experienced a place with this many maintenance issues that never, ever got fixed. From September of 2019 to just 2 weeks before I moved in February of 2020, the subpump in my building went out 4 different times, which backed up sewer water into my bathtub, and flooded my bathroom. Each time I called and put in a maintenance ticket, saying that sewer water has flooded my apartment and only one time did they send someone. That one time, the entire floor must have complained, because they got an outside company to come in and get rid of the water. The guy ripped up all the flooded carpet and tore out the padding, leaving a huge fan to dry the carpet. No one ever came back after that. No one came to fix the carpet that was no longer attached to anything. No one even came back for the fan. Now I've been having trouble getting my deposit back. They never returned it or gave a reason for keeping it. When I call I'm told I will get called back and never do. Don't even get me started on the security doors. It's also probably not great when every building has a big sticker on it warning that the building's fire alarms don't work. Stay far away from here.

Filled out an application got contacted fairly quickly. Got approved then I get charged a 150 holding fee while I sign the lease. This fee IS refundable if you decline the lease within 72 hours. I declined the lease the space didn’t work for me and I found something better. I asked for my refund Kevin said that he would talk to his manager about it on the 28. I have reached out 3 times now. Once via email and 2 phone calls. Neither have been returned or answered. DO NOT LEASE HERE. 9-3 week and half ago I started sending multiple emails a day. Kevin finally responding saying that it processed. Then I asked when I would see the check and I had to send multiple emails for that. And he respond with “30-45” days. I asked from what date and no response.

The worst place I've ever lived, I moved to live here in September 2022, I've always had problems since day 1. Firstly, because there are many cockroaches, the times I've gone to complain they've never paid attention to me, it's disgusting because they walk around all over the kitchen, even though I always keep everything clean. second, the bathroom is flaking and the toilet is moved, I went to complain and it's still the same. third, on Saturday I woke up and my entire kitchen was flooded, apparently the pipes are bad, I went to complain and they told me to call an emergency telephone number. I called and they told me they were coming, it took them 4 hours to come, when they arrived they were trying and they never repaired it, he told me that I left it so they were going to repair it on Monday. Still no one has come to repair. Windsor is the worst place to live.

Terrible place, went without AC for 2 weeks and have kids, still have mold in bathroom that won’t get fixed. Keep calling and they just say they will put in work order and would get my info to property manager but don’t. Me and my coworker both live there and haven’t been helped.

The apartments are nice but the leasing staff/manager doesn’t seem cooperative. I had applied for an apartment and my application got accepted, but I had to decline from signing the lease due to personal reasons. The staff didn’t refund my application fee of $200. So I got ripped off for just applying and then deciding not to sign the lease.

The worst management with terrible attitudes from everyone that works there. From Lisa the leasing manager to everyone working in the leasing office. They are disrespectful, snobbish, and unfriendly. The door bell is broken and sometimes you'll wait for 10 minutes for someone to answer the door when knocking. Please do not move here. It sucks

The only thing I like about this place is the location.it's close to the shopping stores.. I am very disappointed by the management of this apartment complex.they don't care much about your needs.you need to keep telling them about your requests for maintenance.it takes forever to get what you want.they keep forgetting or ignoring your requests.

Since I been living in Windsor lake apartments I’ve had no problem. The staff is the best. They treat u with respect and they will listen to whatever problems I might have. The property manager Kelly Yancy, is outstanding, she listens to whatever problems that I have had. Anytime I need anything fixed in my unit she’s on top of it. I never have to worry about anything when she’s on-site. She’s super friendly, a true peoples person & most importantly she makes me feel like family. I’m so happy Lisa is gone and Kelly was the perfect person for manager position. I see the good vibes inside the management office now. Great going Windsor Lakes, keep up the great work.

I’ve been here for almost a year and the first day I moved in we were given the wrong apartment, our dishwasher has not worked I called and put an order in and no response about it. A couple of days ago someone walked into my apartment while I was undressed with a key to my place, I had to call the police because they were not trying to handle the situation correctly. They lied to me and the police about who the people where and said they don’t know them but they did they where illegal workers who work for them and they entered my apartment and instead of taking accountability they proceeded to say they didn’t know who the lady’s where. In addition the tenants here are great and very helpful but the staff needs to be more respectful to younger tenants.

GHE-TTO!!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!! I STAYED FOR TWO YRS AND THE CONDITIONS AND THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ONLY GOT WORSE. RENT SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN 500 DOLLARS. IT LOOK FELON FRIENDLY ON THE OUT AND INSIDE OF THE APARTMENT BUILDINGS NOT TO MENTION IT TOOK THEM TWO MONTHS FOR MAINTENANCE TO COME AND FIX A HOLE AND MY TUB THAT HAD BLACK STUFF FALLING IN TO THE TUB WHENEVER I RAN THE WATER AND THAT ONLY BECAUSE I PUT MY NOTICE IN TO MOVE OUT

The model apartment is BS compared to the apartment they will try to put you in. They had me to move in a rushed apartment slap paint on the wall covering up mold on walls. Never fixed anything that was supposed to have been done before renting the apartment. All the amenities of the apartment didn't work light and fan over the stove never worked dish washer doesn't work. I haven't used the oven after being there 2weeks, the bottom of the oven separated fell apart. The kicker is it has a case of Bed Bugs. Building 9 is the ghetto-est building over there.

I have lived here at Windsor lakes for about 4 years. At first I always had issues with the office staff, but since Dennis the leasing Manager has started my entire experience has changed. Every time I have a issue he always makes it a priority to find a solution. He is very respectful and pays attention to detail. Also the office staff there now has been doing a great job. Windsor lakes is a great place to live and raise a family.

I can see how their rating in a 2.2. I had a appointment to speak with someone about the crietera for renting a unit here. I am helping my 19 year old granddaughter to get into her first apartment. I spoke to Adamary who knew absoutely nothing and was unable to answer any of my questions not sure why she is even employed here. So after getting agravated about how little she knew about her job and not to be totally rude i left with no answers. After driving through the complex was glad i didn't waste any more time here didn't look like a nice place to live.

Don’t move here, there are so many better places to live than this dump. I moved in about 6 months ago. Got my keys opened up my door and the place was a mess. burn marks all over the bathroom, someone’s hair in the bathtub, and stains in the sink. Made a request to get it cleaned and we’ll no shocker no one ever came to clean my place. The heat also went out in the building for 2 months. Living in 45 degree place with 2 space heaters going was not warming at all. The maintenance team just sucks. as maintenance also just walks into my place no knock at all. No privacy here. Choose somewhere better!!

Maintenance is terrible. Management does not fix any problems. Lots of building code violations. File an official on-line complaint with the Village of Woodridge. Details available on the Village of Woodridge website. Please provide the address of the buildings and/or unit in question for proper follow-up.

I have cigarette smoke flooding my apartment at least 3 times a day and they complain about people smoking weed in their units. Weatherstrip isn’t expensive but they’d rather put money into the leasing center and harass their tenants than apply a simple fix. Aside from that, every experience I’ve had with the staff has been bad. The only reason I live here is because of how close it to my job. It’s over priced and under maintained. My apartment was filthy at move in.

Is you looking for a nice place for live, this is not a place for sure. only the leasing office looks good, the buildings and apartments in really bad conditions, stairs smells horrible, the apartments in pretty bad conditions (cabinets, bathrooms, windows, etc.) also they offer laundry facilities but is a dryer and washer for block around 30 apartments that's a joke. the leasing office never answered the phone. they charge you 100 and 150 if your application is approved, don't waste your money and time

I've lived here for 1.5 years. And honestly I have NOTHING good to say about this complex. Or Morgan properties for that matter. Ever since they took over they have been nothing but a thorn in the side of all residents making it harder and harder for daily life. The cleaning crew is almost non existent and maybe spray the hallways with febreeze? If that. The grounds crew is non existent littered with trash. The dog parks are a sad excuse. And God forbid you actually need help with any fees. They will ignore your calls or tell you they will get back to you and then serve you a 30 day notice if you don't pay. Aside from the facts you can't use the basketball court due to packages being scattered or have access to the gym or the resident laundry service in the main building at free will. The pool as nice as it is, is almost never working or if it is it isn't cleaned. My move in was 2 weeks late and nothing was gone over for my lease. The inspection was rushed and my dishwasher and oven don't work. Then when they tried to install a fire advert system come to find out the outlet behind my oven is fashioned with foam insulation causing an even MORE fire hazard if my oven DID work. I was duped when I was told I was getting an updated unit then got placed in one that was not even close to updated. I had to fix my own tub due to a blockage in the drain. Re line my kitchen sink hoses and treat for cockraoches out of my pocket and my resources. The front office to say being useless is giving too much credit.. DO NOT MOVE HERE. WILL NOT BE RESIGNING. Cheap is exactly what you pay for.

Our Apartment door was broken the day we moved in and it took over 3 months for it be fixed. The entire time we stayed at the complex the outside door to our building didn't work so we had random people walking within the building. Management was awful. Could not recommend anyone stay away from this place more. The only thing they have going for them was the fact that they allow dogs.

Let's see.. Wasps. Birds. Raccoons. Also don't expect anything to be fixed. I subbmited a maintenance request in April to fix the closet the broken a/c grate that has occupied birds nests. The pool has yet to open despite the offices many promises it would open by memorial day. Also there is not laundry in every building (which I not what I was told on my tour). I would give this place zero stars if I could. If you really have no where else to live... live somewhere else.

The employees at this place are what makes it a great place to call home. The property management headed up by Devona and Tina really work hard to take care of their tenants. They are kind and patient and always respond quickly to my complaints. I have lived here since December of 2018 and I am really happy that I selected Windsor Lakes to be my home. They are also open 7 days a week which is great for many people. No matter where you live, you may face challenges or repairs. What's most important is that the property managers care and are responsive. Tina and Devona actually care and I appreciate them. I also enjoy the area and convenience of Woodridge.

I’ve lived here since March 2022 in one of the newly renovated buildings. To be honest, I love my place. Every time someone comes over they tell me how nice it is because of how it was remodeled. Very modern, trendy, awesome that it has a washer and dryer. The only complaint is the price but this area in general is expensive. The location to 355 and all the surrounding towns is incredible. Very quiet building. I never see anyone.

I lived in 3 different states 8 different apartment by far the worst place l have lived at thus far and over priced. Misplaced my deposit and first months rent , I get letters in the mail my renters insurance isn't correct when the leasing office has had the correct copy since the 2nd day of my lease currently here for the 3rd month. I have had a water leak for over 10 day still not resolved. Windsor lakes per the website considers this an emergency service call allegedly have a 24hr maintenance team, they never show up when you call. You have to baby sit them to even attempt to get the job done and clearly can't do it right. Do not waste your time and money here.

I wanted to take a few minutes to comment on the transformation of the apartment building, amenities and the staff. Tonya and Dennis have been nothing short of an asset, they have assisted me on questions, concerns and challenges while I have been a resident. In addition, I would like to rave about the updates that the building management have made when it comes to the exterior I.e. windows, or siding. Workout room , Clubhouse , Media center , Etc . It has really added an element of upgrade that attracts residents like myself. To summarize, I have rented an apartment going on my second year and I would recommend this complex to family and or friends without a doubt.

Great management team that will work hard to address your needs and concerns. Veronica, Kelly, Kathy and Mary have been instrumental in this and I've definitely seen great positive changes. When bad tenants are removed from the equation, the living/rental experience is 1000x better,... that's for sure!

My leasing agent specifically (Kelly Yancy) made sure any questions and any time of the day I emailed her were answered in a timely manner. My building is very quiet.
