I called at 9am to rent a room for 2 nights, the man stated "they had a room available but we would not be able to check in until 3pm." I agreed and waited till 3pm to head to the office for check in. When I arrived I asked to check in. The lady at the window said he was not there and I needed to wait. So I waited and randomly checked in the window but still nothing. Around 5pm he calls my cellphone and let's me know he's back. So I am finally able to check in. Upon doing so I notice the door to the room just opens without a key. Just pushed open. So I notify the man. He comes right away and is able to fix it. Then I notice after the air doesn't work so again I notify the owner but this time he says "you don't want the room come get your money". And remember by now it's already 7pm and we are staying at this hotel because our car is broke down on the same street so we can be close to it. So after all is said and done we feel we did not get our money worth. It's a beautiful hotel outside but inside the heat was so overpowering we slept the whole time.

I truly recommend this motel. This is our family’s second time staying here and the service has been great! It’s quiet, neat, clean, very comfortable.Management’s Hospitality was kind and helpful. Both times we stayed we never had any issues. Thank you State Motel for a great experience!

After a short hospital stay, I needed a place rest, clean rooms, good service.... And Peaceful Atmosphere!!!!

Good manager polite to his tenant big big rooms and clean rooms and linen and they keep the rooms really clean and nice so ths o all his tenants whatever you need you to call him anytime of the night and he will help you .

It's my number one motel in long beach. Kid friendly and the management keeps the room nice and clean. Highly recommend for family who wants peace and quiet.

This place is not in the best area BUT the rooms are CLEAN and the staff is straight forward and caring. I got a call from the manager to check to see if I was still coming after I got held up at emergency room. He was welcoming even at the late hour.

We had a very nice and comfortable stay here. Rooms have lots of space. Owner is very friendly. Absolutely recommend this motel.

I was pleasantly surprised. Like I said in another post 'Dont judge a book by its cover" The room was a really good size as well as the bathroom. The main issue I had was the outlets in the bathroom did not work. Also, the morning of checkout I had a lot of stuff, way more than I should but circumstances warranted it, anyway I was able to get someone to help me move it all and with a car. The owner/manager came to the door to ask about the person's car and he just went off and said he was going to report me and I wasn't supposed to have anyone in the room blah blah . Excuse me sir I've been there for 12 days and had not one visitor and now you're going to report me and say I can never use these services again just because I needed some help . How chivalrous of you. So my help left and never came back.

If you are in California the Long Beach area make sure you get your room here very nice place very very quiet very nice room this room are amazing very private we had a two bed omg that queen size bed was life so big it was enough space the husband loved it this place is very clean from the room too the parking lot you do have a place too park you won’t be on the side of the street management is so amazing they let you in your room went you locked yourself out no problem management is very respectable they are like really family it very quiet Place if you don’t stay there trust me you won’t be bothered with any under won’t complain I am love with the landscape that they have around the complex flowers are very beautiful we will return again this place saved our life we are very thankful
