Food portions were incredible for the price. The breakfast pot pie was very filling! The waffle combo with a pumpkin spice waffle was the perfect breakfast for a chilly fall day in Hollywood. Mimosas were delicious and strong. The only downside was the coffee wasn’t that great but it gets a pass since everything else was incredible.

Pretty good food and not too expensive overall. Located within walking distance of Hollywood Boulevard. We were able to get a table fairly quick on a Sunday morning. They offer indoor seating with proof of vaccine, or you can sit outside on the patio. I recommend the breakfast burrito for sure, which also had veggie meat alternatives available. If you plan to order a side of fries, make sure you have somebody to share with because they give you a lot.

Really nice patio for sitting outside on a beautiful day in Hollywood. The waffles were delicious and the staff were all very friendly. Only problem was that we had to keep flagging them down to get their attention for stuff. Wish the service were a little more attentive, but other than that, the food was fantastic!

Finally tried this place. We got there 15 minutes before closing, and they allowed us to order. We didn’t know they close early. Anyways, our server was very understanding and accommodating. The place itself is very retro. Great vibe. Decor is definitely nostalgic. Has a diner feel to it. Great music playing too. I had the patty melt. Made with Kobe beef. It didn’t really fit the sandwich. It was kinda small. So, basically more bread than anything. Not to impressed. Not much flavor. My friends had the hot chicken sandwich and the chicken club on a waffle. They both said theirs was yummy. We also ordered some Mac and cheese. I tried the Mac and cheese. It’s good don’t get me wrong…just missing something. Overall the food is good. I wanna come back and try some other things as there is so much to choose from. Needless to say I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic brunch spot with amazing waffles - they have a gluten free and vegan option as well! The parking situation is meters on the street; my friend and I went on a Saturday early afternoon (around 2 PM) and there was plenty of metered parking. The establishment is located next to a bank tower so it’s a bit subtle but has yellow umbrellas outside. There’s a lot of outdoor and indoor seating. The service was good - pretty standard and typical, portion sizes are good too. I got the waffle breakfast which comes with your choice of half or full waffle, (there are so many flavors of waffles to choose from, a protein meat, side, and choice of eggs. It was a satisfying meal overall and I also had the pineapple juice which was good. Overall a great place to brunch, it is a bit pricey - $20-30 per meal but it is LA so it makes sense. Would definitely come back here for the waffles!

We had a great breakfast and experience on Sunday morning. Located in Hollywood, the area can get quite busy, but it’s nice to start the day in a busy part of town. Parking can be a bit tricky because they don’t have a parking lot so it’ll be metered street parking. It’s located on the bottom floor of a high-rise office building and has many outdoor and indoor seating options, however we chose to sit inside at the counter due to weather. Our server Ian was very prompt and did a great job as well. They specialize in waffles obviously, but also have many of the classics. They don’t have my favorite breakfast dish: Eggs Benedict, but they still have a lot of great options. We both ordered the Waffle Breakfast, which comes with a side waffle. We chose the blueberry compote and the red velvet waffle and both were fantastic. I was not a fan of their hash browns due to the seasoning on them and how thick they were, but all the other items were great. Overall a great breakfast with fair pricing and fast service. As a fan of waffles it was great to see how many options they have to choose from. I will definitely be back in the near future.

Food was great! A service was fast and friendly. The red velvet waffles with cream cheese frosting were so tasty. I have a sweet tooth & this fit the bill. My husband said though that the tres leches waffles tasted like regular waffles - so perhaps not worth the upgrade. For breakfast we came out at $30 per person and easily had no leftovers, so it's a bit pricey for a diner breakfast (so if I could give half-stars, this would be more of a 4.5)...but then again it's on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. It's also clearly a step or two up from a "standard" run-of-the-mill diner, which probably warrants the slightly higher price.

They have different waffle flavors and waffles prepared in different ways. This restaurant is good but may not be worth the price to you. The coffee was okay. They do have lattes, matcha lattes and breakfast cocktails which I did not get to try. The staff are polite and they do not rush your meal. Definitely come here to try it and have fun.

Portions were generous, service was outstanding and most importantly, food tasted amazing! Got myself the waffle breakfast which consists of the scrambled eggs, country potatoes (with bell peppers and onions) and sausages. Free refills on soft drinks as well. Definitely coming back.

These guys know how to make mimosas. We shared the flight. The double wide Chicken sandwich blew my mind. We hung out here long enough to meet a local who shared many more good places to check out. Sitting at the bar allowed us to watch all the servers who were so kind and attentive.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I decided to go yesterday anticipating a long wait time, but surprisingly I have to wait only 15 minutes. What I did not like is that you order in the front as soon as you get to the hostess. Then you go inside and pay for your food. Then they sit you down at your table. They were not busy at all, but the service was slow and they paid no attention to me. That's why you should NOT pay upfront. They already have your money and it's obvious that they do not work for tips. The food was organic healthy not my style. The food had no flavor or Seasoning. Not even salt, and Pepper, Tabasco could rescue its loss of flavors. And they lost my business. I will not be going back don't waste your time on this restaurant. If you cooked at home it will take better than The Wafe.

We were looking at places to go when we decided to play tourist in Los Angeles and we found this place. We went here for breakfast and tried their waffles with the bacon and mushroom hash browns. They have a lot of items in their menu that I wish I have several stomachs so that I could try them all lol. Anyway, the waffle itself has a crispy shell. The hashbrown is not crispy but the toppings tasted really good. I also got mocha and it was a bit too sweet but still tasted good. The servers are attentive and friendly. I am surprised though that this place is not that crowded (we were there around 10am on a Saturday).

Lots of different types of waffles and pancakes. Everything from pecan waffles to blueberry lemon waffles and all kinds of variety of pancakes. One weird thing: They have something called health insurance and living wage tax. 5% of the subtotal. This is an addition to any other tips. I can't say that I support that. That just seems wrong. This is the one and only place that I've been to that does that.

We went Saturday at 10 am. We were able to be seated right away indoors. Our waiter greeted up promptly. Drink order came out quickly. Food arrived hot. Some items had a great theory. Some had a great flavor. Skip the cheesy hashbrowns.

I highly recommend this place if you want a delicious waffle with tons of options for an affordable price. I got the chocolate chip one + strawberry and it was simply perfect and not too sweet. They also have a great combo where you can have a nice breakfast combination that includes egg, protein and waffle- my friend got it and the portion was great. There was a small confusion with our order but they solved it very quickly. Also, this is a place where you order, pay and then get your food (more like a fast food chain) but they still are nice and friendly. We went Sunday at brunch time and there was a short wait but they love very quickly so don’t let that scare you. This place is a great option for an affordable, yummy and filling brunch (something that is pretty rare in LA).

Fresh, delicious and a variety of waffles here. This cafe is located in a prime location. Coffee is unlimited. The red velvet waffle looks good but doesn’t taste that good. The waffle breakfast and lemon waffles were delicious and recommended. Service can be a little slow here in the morning around breakfast time.

Not a single dish disappoints here. The menu is filled with choices that can satisfy the carnivore, the vegetarian, and kids alike. Service is a bit slow and side dishes are quite small. Some of the menu items have similar names so double check with your server to ensure you ordered the correct item. The restaurant charges 5% on all bills because of increased wages.

You think you understand. But you don’t. This place is excellent. Periodttttt. We came back again while in Hollywood because it was so delicious. Honestly, you need to order the Buffalo hash browns. Heaven in our mouths.

Met up for breakfast with some friends on my last day in LA. Ordered the Wee Waffle Flight because I couldn't decide which waffle to order. It included three mini waffles, red velvet, tres leches, and lemon blueberry. They were all DELICIOUS. The waffles were perfection, so light and fluffy. My friends were vegetarian and ordered from the regular breakfast menu and were extremely happy with their meals as well. Will definitely be back next time I'm in LA.

Wow. Just wow. This place by far has the best breakfast I’ve had here in LA. It was that good. First-The location is right off sunset and vine. It’s at the bottom of a business complex. Not hard to miss. It has an awesome vibe to it. It has alot of outdoor seating and decent inside seating as well as a diner bar. The music is good and the service is even better. It’s not your traditional service style, everyone works together so they have a 12% gratuity charge. But still prices aren’t bad. Second-The food was out of this world good. It was perfect. I got the breakfast combo. So I got 1/2 a waffle with syrup, two over east eggs (however you want them) 3 perfectly cooked strips of turkey bacon and country potatoes with a really good cup of coffee and it was everything I needed. It was about $25 with the gratuity charge but for what you get when the meal is only $15 is so worth it. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Definitely go!

Noah was by far the BEST server we have ever had! The food and drinks were amazing! Zero complaints. Great experience. It was our favorite meal that we had all week in LA.

Cool spot. All the food was good. Had a Hasbrown waffle and added some veggies to the eggs. It was good! Everything was real bland but a touch of salt helped. Also had the lemon blueberry GLUTEN-FREE waffle! Lemon curd was super sour and the blueberry compote was on the sour side as well. But the waffle was perfect!

Food was fresh and delicious. We ordered the patty melt and turkey club with waffle fries. Both sandwiches were top notch. Coffee was fresh and hot. Would not hesitate to come back again. Classic diner ambiance. They do add a surcharge to the bill for the kitchen staff. Everyone there was so nice and friendly and the food was excellent so the meal was worth every penny.

Great vibe and excellent food, even a nice bar if you're feeling boozy. Score!

Really good and fullfilling vegan waffles and very friendly staff. The vegan bacon extra for the waffle was really expensive though (4$ for 3 small pieces). I wish they had more vegan toppings such as whipped cream.

There was a group of 10+ people and we were seated quickly and in the shade. The customer service was wonderful, but the food was to die, for I personally had the chocolate waffles and they were so fluffy and moist I don’t know if I have ever had better waffles in America. Absolutely beautiful.

Found the Waffle during our stay at the W Hotel. It's about a 3 minute walk down Argyle. Fantastic breakfast spot. Great food and friendly folk. The waffles are good, and so are many other options. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We'll be back fir sure.

Everything about the place was amazing. From the service, food, drinks. I wish we had this place back home. I cleared my plate by the way.

Nice restaurant, however it's really expensive for what it offers. Cashless only, bring your credit cards. Staff were very nice on our visit but not enough staff so service was lacking. Breakfast plates are a bit minimal for the price you are paying. Waffles were good and had a nice flavor. Chili fries, a bit salty and the chili was definitely from a can. For me it's a nice space but way too expensive in the end.

Great location, fresh breakfast selection, good strong coffee, amazing waffles selection, and eggs made to exact way you want...what more can one ask for! Definitely will be back next time we are in town!
