We stayed here last month for 8 nights. Overall, it was good, but we had noisy neighbors and despite our calls to the front desk, they never stopped being noisy until 5am every night, even though they said they would call them. The breakfast was decent, it was nice to have variety each day, however an ingredient list would be helpful to have outside each dish. The coffee was amazing and super strong! The outdoor rec area was fun, and you get to see the planes fly overhead, so if you like that sort of thing like I do, it's a fun bonus. I was also a bit nervous about the noise level due to the close proximity of the airport, but I never heard planes inside, so kudos to Hilton to investing in good sound proofing! The location was good, close to John Wayne airport, and it was in a business park area, so it was nice and quiet at night. There are lots of things close enough by, so you aren't isolated by any means, but it's not too noisy. Overall, I would stay here again but for the money, there are other options forsure. Depends what kind of trip you're looking for.

Amazing hotel! Very accommodating and great location. We use this all the time for water polo tournaments in the area. Love the basketball court (though they should update their basketballs), the rooms are very nice, showers are awesome, and staff is very friendly! Would definitely recommend!

My father and I had the most amazing stay at this hotel, given our circumstances. We were visiting the area to attend my uncle's funeral. Angel checked us in and was helpful in finding an available room quickly and periodically checking in on us throughout our stay. Angel also provided us with suggestions on activities to do in the area and assisted with the delivery of flower for funeral services. The hot breakfast each morning made for an easy transition into the day without having to leave the grounds. The hotel is conveniently located near the 405 and 55. We were able to visit Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and Laguna Beach all within 15-20 minutes. This hotel is also about 10-15 minutes away from Disneyland. All around excellent location and facility. We felt welcome and at home during this difficult time. Shout out to Angel - we'll be back to see you!

I’ve stayed here a while back and comeback regularly, and on top of the cleanliness I can proudly say that this is one of the best hotels I’ve resided in due to the customer service. I’ve had a couple inconveniences that would have turned my experience, and this review south which I won’t mention since it was handled quickly, extraordinarily, and professionally by Sam. The front desk staff is also remarkable, and Sam greatly contributed to this superior staff group. Speaking from experience the staff can make or break a hotel and they definitely made this hotel 5 stars plus. These individuals especially Sam are worth their weight in gold! Definitely deserves a promotion, award, vacation, raise or all the above.

What a wonderful hotel for the business traveler. From the moment I checked in I was impressed with the friendly front desk staff and then the spacious and very well designed room. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the workspace was ample with plenty of outlets and room for my laptop and everything else I needed. My only complaint is that the desk chair was a bit hard. Otherwise I loved the room and the hotel and would gladly stay there again.

Wow. An affordable hotel that doesn’t make you feel bad for spending less. It lives up to its name - a very home-like atmosphere! Very clean, comfortable, kind staff! Spacious rooms!

Homewood Suites John Wayne Irvine is my go to accommodations when staying for 5 or more days in the area!! Parking is abundant. Cleanliness is stellar and the staff including Caroline, Jordan and my room attendant Alma were and are extremely professional, friendly, and quite personable!! Customer Service is a HUGE sticking point and this is why I keep coming back here when I have business training!! I've stayed in other surrounding hotels cause they were cheaper and regretted it!! This location is so convenient to many of my favorite spoils all within 2 mile radius!! Don't have to get on a single freeway!! Hotel environment is quiet and peaceful. This hotel is dog friendly and the pet parents do far have been very cordial along with their fur babies. I've not experienced annoying barking/excessive barking which I know other travelers have issues/ concerns about when booking a pet friendly hotel!! See you soon June 2023 and July lol

I stayed four nights in March 2023 for work. The suite rooms are generous in size, offer all the essentials from microwave, hob and fridge freezer. Rooms were clean and in good condition, as was the whole hotel. Breakfast was free, a simple hot offering, cereals etc. staff were friendly and helpful. Small outdoor pool area which would be good for kids. Near airport.

One of the best places for a long term stay. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are cleaned properly and maintained. Great amenities and overall central location. Daily delicious complimentary breakfast is a plus.

Loved my stay here. The staff doing the front desk and shuttle services are all so nice! They have wine and drinks and snacks for purchase. The rooms are comfy, great amenities. Great payout. My favorite part. SERGIO!!! They have a social night on Wednesday with free food and drinks. But Sergio, he’s hilarious and accommodating! Would stay here always.

The hotel is very convenient to John Wayne airport but that’s the only positive and I will definitely not stay here again. The staff were very nice but the hotel only provides housekeeping on Mon, Wed and Fridays and charge $12/day for parking in a lot that isn’t secured and anybody can park in. They didn’t ask for the car info or license plate at check-in so I highly doubt it’s monitored. We had a party of 3 staying Sun through Fri and we only had housekeeping one day so we had overflowing trash and wet towels on the floor our entire stay. We had a kitchen and there were 2 tiny trash cans under the sink for trash and recycling we’d fill in a day. After requesting housekeeping the available days during check-in, we came back after a long day on Monday evening and our room hadn’t been cleaned. When I called the front desk all they offered were towels and trash pickup so we had our room cleaned once during a five-night stay. It’s frustrating the hotel industry has taken advantage of the pandemic to continue this policy and save a few bucks because it makes your stay extremely uncomfortable. I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for years and I’m going to see if there’s a chain that provides daily housekeeping and I’m going to take my business elsewhere. Our experience at this hotel ruined our trip for us and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone going to Orange County for a visit.

Got a very spacious, two room suite (one was a full kitchen plus tv/sofa, and other was two queen beds, desk, tv and enclosed bathroom). Quiet room, didn't hear planes from SNA, didn't hear corridor/elevator noise. Front desk could be a little more receptive, breakfast 100% American, no cold cuts, so so breads, not good coffee.

Another great stay. Room was spotless again thanks to housekeeper Paulina. Front desk staff Brian, Caroline and all the others were great. This is a great location.I have stayed at this property many times over the last four years and it is consistently 5 star.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 months. The service was outstanding. The rooms are worth more than 3 stars, guess the only reason this is not a 4 star hotel is due to the lack of a mini bar. The refrigerator and freezer is big, the kitchen contains all the necessary stuff. The pool with jacuzzi and the gym are in a very good condition and meet all requirements. Now there are also some less positive points I’d like to mention nevertheless the hotel is really good! The breakfast is okay but there is really a lack of veggie options and vegetable options in general. In addition it’d me great to mark the ingredients more clearly as some days I realized there is meat inside after eating it. The kitchen equipment needs to be checked after every client. The knife I got in the beginning was not sharp at all. Due to proximity to John Wayne airport the planes come with some noise that might disturb you. My biggest critic point is that depending on who does the room service it varies between very clean and motivated and not motivated at all (e.g., forgot to place new toilet paper). Id be great to ensure all your stuff is motivated. To finish this with a positive point, the 24h reception and the parcel reception are great services. On Wednesday you get dinner for free including wine and snacks. Thank you for this great overall stay!

My children had a fantastic time from the moment they walked in. Basketball court, swimming pool, foosball table and live size chess game! Rooms were big and comfortable! Caroline was very helpful and kind. The people working in the kitchen were always willing to go beyond with accommodating the guest!

Great hotel!! Awesome basketball court, swimming pool, ping-pong, outdoor chess all outdoor for the kids, while the parents relax nearby. Breakfast is delicious—Veronica, Jessica, Valeria, Jordan and Luxury make a huge and delicious spread every day! Loved this hotel and will definitely come again!

Really nice hotel with all the right amenities in a near perfect location. Only minor complaints would be mediocre breakfast food and a loud AC unit on the fourth floor. But those really are minor, as we really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast is included and there are lots of food options to choose from. And having Farmer Boys in the same parking lot is an amazing perk! You also get a nicely stocked kitchenette though, so that's another option. Overall, highly recommended if you're in the area.

Staff was professional and friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was good with a number of hot and cold breakfast items. The breakfast area can get busy and the staff has a hard time keeping it clean. The Farmer Brothers burger place in the parking lot was good. So you don't have to leave the hotel for dinner if you don't want to.

Located in a quiet area of Irvine, close to the airport. Enough parking spaces though not free. The rooms are very beautiful with all the amenities needed in a kitchen. The service is swift, you don't have to got to the desk for check in once you have the Hilton Honors app. The breakfast is not bad comes out fresh with a variety of bread, bagels, cereal, and coffee. I will be back again and again.

This was our fourth time staying at the Homewood Suites John Wayne, and we’ve now deem it our “home away from home”. The front desk staff, Caroline, William, Yasmine welcomed us with open arms. They are always willing do whatever to make your stay a wonderful experience. They are kind, caring and professional. Homewood suites has an amazing staff!! Veronica and her staff in the breakfast area are all wonderful as well. They work very hard trying to keep up with the breakfast demands while tending to spills and clean ups. The maintenance and housekeeping staff all need to be commended as well as this hotel is 7 years old and looks brand new. NOW, that’s a staff you wanna keep around for a very long time!! We just stayed our second time at Homewood Suites in Irvine near the John Wayne Airport this past week. Last year we stayed here for a week and had a really good experience so we booked it again and I can say we were not let down. The value of what you get for the price is outstanding. Free breakfast, clean room and common areas, 24 hour gym, 12pm check out (most hotels do 11am), free parking, dishwasher/refrigerator/microwave/stovetop in unit, very comfortable bed, clean pool, basketball court, very friendly and helpful staff, very kid friendly, I can go on and on. I think we paid about $170/night for a Friday & Saturday night. I will continue to stay at this hotel anytime I come down to Orange County.

Great place, the staff has been amazing very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are comfy. I would do 5 but the breakfast is kinda lacking and iffy sometimes. But if I come back again for work I will most likely stay here.

I have stayed here for over 2 months and liked the stay throughout because of nice and tidy rooms, superb service, great food and most importantly the friendly staff!! Veronica and Jessie always make you feel at home, give a warm welcome every morning at breakfast! Highly recommended!!

This is the second year in a row that I have stayed here. The sanitization and disinfection protocols are amazing! The staff is very friendly and they went out of their way to accommodate my very specific room request.

We stayed here for two nights. It’s a clean hotel, spacious rooms, free breakfast and parking. I give it three stars because it is a bit over priced, and there is no room service. For the price the least they can do clean the rooms during stay.

Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was overall good. Front desk and housekeeping was really friendly. Has a nice little basketball court for the kids. Gym looks nice. Has a outdoor pool that looks decent and was busy at night. Love that it had free parking especially that being in California. My family was happy😁!

Homewood Suites by Hilton in Irvine/John Wayne airport was fabulous hotel for my 6 baseball teams. We came into a hotel that welcomed us with open arms. The kids and all adults had so much fun using all the amenities at the hotel. Everything was so clean everyone felt safe and at the hotel. All the staff were so friendly that we all can’t wait to stay again. The team enjoyed the basketball ball court and the pool! The game room was also a big hit!

Stayed more than 4 months for my business trip, the staffs are very friendly and helpful special mention to front desk staff Caroline. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Also special mention about Veronica and Jessie in the kitchen, they always make you feel comfortable with warm welcome every morning for the breakfast.I would love to stay again here during my next visits.Highly recommended!!!

Very clean, fresh-looking rooms. We had a room near the elevator and it didn’t bother us at all. Comfortable beds. Kids played in the pool for hours. I’d say the breakfast is OK, but good compared with other hotels. The A/C is super quiet, great cable reception, great Wi-Fi for multiple devices. Very nice game room with a shuffleboard and pool table. Guests can check out table tennis paddles or basketballs for use on a great sport court. Very nice lobby and helpful staff.

My suite had everything your home would have. Had a kitchen with even pots and pans and silverware and glassware and bowls and plates. The bed was so comfy and I slept like a baby and even overslept. I missed breakfast at the hotel so I walked a few steps to Farmer Boys thats next door in the same parking lot. Try the Pancake Platter its yummy. The swimming pool and hot spa was refreshing and super clear and clean, they also provide towels. They have a Ping Pong table and other activities. Say hello to Tony he is the manager and is very nice.

Had a great experience at this hotel! Nino, Caroline and Beth greeted me with such a warm welcome and recommendations on the local area! The room was spotless and spacious, and all the amenities of the hotel are super nice. A great place to celebrate my anniversary. Free parking too!! Would definitely keep this place on my list of hotels to return to when I’m in the area.

This place is so clean, accommodating, great food, location is close to many things. We are a family of 6 and the suites are perfect for large families without having to get two rooms. Loved our stay and we will definitely be back! Their staff is also great! I ended up loosing my diaper bag at Disneyland with all our wallets and keys in it. The girl at the desk when I returned (a total wreck) was so amazing to me and her kindness will not be forgotten. She had previously worked at Disneyland and gave me hope all would be okay, there was a good chance they would find it, and she was right! Our bag was found the next morning. If we hadn’t found the bag she said they would do anything to help us get another room and stay longer if necessary. So much kindness when we really need it, absolutely above and beyond.

My stay here was excellent! I stayed here and hosted a Rehearsal Brunch for my sister's wedding. Hayley was very easy to work with over the phone, she gave me options discussed what would work best for our gathering and Caroline along with the rest of the staff were very helpful. The room we used for brunch was set up already easy to navigate and close to lobby. The room Islept in was spacious, comfortable and easy to get around town location wise. Weather you're staying for business, family or an event this hotel checks all the boxes. Farmer bros so close, breakfast in lobby, pool, close to shops and freeway. Honestly one of the more comfortable beds I've slept in as well! Thanks Homewood Suites!

Really enjoyed our stay in the one bedroom suite with two queen beds. We were on the third floor. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean and in good shape. No airplane noise although close to John Wayne airport. Pool was clean and barely anybody used it so we had it to ourselves. 20 minutes from Disneyland. Free breakfast was convenient. Highly recommend.

Great setup for a week stay. We had minimal disruption to a Christmas holiday stay for 7 nights and only had one night of rowdy kids in a room nearby causing noise late into the night. Amenities were what we needed. My only dislike was that the stove top was only 2 burners and situated vertically so that the pan on the rear burner was too close to the wall. Bed was super comfy. I love the refrigerator. They didn’t supply quite enough dish soap or dishwasher detergent but in lieu of the pandemic, we purchased a small amount of these items so that we didn’t need to request or have any housekeeping while occupying. Love the cleanliness and was central to everywhere we needed nearby.
