This place is great. Prices are very reasonable. Food is always fresh and the staff are always pleasant to deal with.

This place USED TO be awesome. Not sure what's happened in the last year or so. Its become rather scuffy now, meaning it looks unkept, food wasn't as fresh as before, the service was subpar. And the owner is not friendly nor welcoming. The beans are canned, and the rice was starchy, definitely the sauce is saturated in ketchup and no longer fresh. The waitress was however very pleasant, and the beers are cold. I truly restrain from writing bad reviews, but like all of my reviews, I have to be honest. I hope this place improves. The owners attitude would be a good start.

it's a very comfortable a restaurant to eat and watch some sports and music but the food is excellent. Here's my mother having a michelada 87 years old we had the red snapper which is in Spanish it's called huachinango pescado zarandeado delicious.

This is one of does hole in the wall small restaurant but so delicious. We always get molcajete, we also got the mojarra & capirotada. Variety of food & friendly servers Its a fish market aswell.

Pretty good seafood plates. The fish and shrimp plates can easily be shared. They do all kinds of seafood plates. Taco Tuesday is $1.99 and all kinds of tacos available. Enjoyed the shrimp tacos. Worth a visit.

Food: Fish Tacos with a large piece of fried battered fish, creme, and cabbage are my favorite!!! The Carne Asada Tacos are my second choice. Make sure to try their horchata! Service: My family is picky and all the toppings (salsa, onions, chili etc) are put in containers separately when requested. Always polite and fast. Final thought: Taco Tuesdays are the jam!!! Excellent option for take out! And great prices too!

Great place for fish and shrimp cooked anyway you like. There is always families and locals when we eat here. Never disappointed, yummy.

Taste the freshness...We started off with freshly prepared chips and salsa. Our server quickly brought out our drinks and food. My mojarra was perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. My husband had a campechana that was also bomb. All ingredients taste so fresh.. We recommend this place. 👌

Food was mediocre. If you do not pay with cash, there is a 3% charge added to your bill. So they basically pass the fee of a card machine to the patrons. This is ridiculous. I will pass this place up and go elsewhere for better food, same price and minus an additional fee.

The beans were bland, they literally taste like the Frito-lay bean dip, no flavor, the rice also bland, no flavor, the asada tacos tasted like they were fried in the oil where they fried the fish it was disgusting!! I don't know what you people are talking about , It shows you people have no idea what real Mexican food is, never again!!!

La Mirada friends told me about Taco Tuesday at Ortega's. What a delight!! Delicious tacos!! I'm sorry I didn't attend a lot sooner.

Got the Cielo,Tierra y Mar Molcajete for 2 persons and there were 3 of us and we still took food home! The fill their molcajete to the rim with food! The asada is sooo good!

The camarones a la diabla are pretty tasty...and I like the fact that you could ask for peeled shrimps!

Absolutely incredible!!! The Birria tacos are beautifully seasoned and the meat just falls apart in your mouth. The service is great with an amazing staff. Would absolutely come here again

Ordered medium shrimp cocktails through a delivery app and our order was delivered on time. The shrimp is a good size with cucumbers, tomatoes and avocado (we left out the onions). After adding lime, pepper and hot sauce, it was delicious. We also ordered a side salad with dressing. The only downside was there was water at the bottom of the salad container which diluted the sand dressing. It would probably be better to ask for dressing on the side.

Ordered fish tacos which were pretty good and surf and turf burrito which was okay the steak and shrimp were a bit bland. I think the customer service over shined the food, the cashier was very friendly and helpful with the menu. The ceviche is supposed to be really good here I’m going to try that next time.

Be careful what you order. Make sure you ask for the price before you order. I ordered the 3 fish tacos special for 6 dollars and asked for a ceviche tostada and a lemonade. It all came to 18 dollars (21 after the tip). How much was the tostada 6 dollars so the fing water was 6 dollars too. Where is the special? The fish tacos all batter... Not worth coming back.

The shrimp ceviche was excellent. Most places they add chili peppers to the ceviche and limits those that can't have the chili peppers. Here you don't have to worry you add it if you want it. As for the fish tacos, they were a little bland. I've had better. I can't say much about other food plates but they do have an extensive food menu and you even have the option of buying the ingredients and making it yourself.

A bit pricey, nonetheless delicious ceviche! Dining room/area is too confined next to the counter. This establishment would be more successful if it expanded to a stand-alone location, more parking and room for seating and take out area, plus they can bring in lil start up bands and or a jukebox!
