The staff at this bagel place were arrogant and rude, which detracted from the overall experience. While the bagels have beautiful decorations, the taste did not live up to expectations. The bagels were not bad, but they simply were not the best. Driving a long way to try them was not worth it, as the taste was just average and not worth the journey. The staff's attitude only added to the disappointment of the meal. There may be better options for bagels elsewhere, as the taste and staff attitude at this particular place were underwhelming. The beautiful decorations do not make up for the average taste and poor customer service.

I got the 1802 iced coffee with chocolate. It was thin sour and boring. 3 bagels at $2.50 a piece. That’s more expensive than Maury’s and Belle’s (not as good either). However, I wouldn’t have left a review for that. This review is on account of the $2.00 they charged for the whipped cream cheese. It wasn’t enough to spread on even one bagel.

Best bagel in LA! I got the salt and pepper bagel with cream cheese, and it was incredible! Also got the rose syrup Matcha latte. My friend got an everything bagel and an onion bagel and they were perfection. Beautiful interior, wonderful customer service, and a great little outdoor seating area and parking lot!

Fantastic Coffee choices, fresh baked goods, quiches and a friendly professional staff..!! Tons of parking or drive through if you wish. Great destination or option if Highland Park or Eagle Rock is too packed..

What an awesome space to catch up with friends. Baristas are super friendly, the drinks & food are delicious and the space is pet friendly! They roast their own coffee and prepare it very well, they also have a good selection of hot and iced tea. Lots of seating inside/outside and parking is hassle free.

I tend to trust a cafe has a pour-over coffee menu or roast beans by itself. 1802 Roasters has both of them and it has a lot of bakery options as well. Its parking lot was not crowded and there were enough sitting areas inside as well. Absolutely the taste of the pour-over coffee was great!

Purchased a $287 coffee here, took a quick walk to library with my coffee came back and manager towed my car within an hour of being parked in their totally unmarked lot. My coffee was still hot when I get back and my car was gone… At least put up some signs in the lot or leave a note on the car for next time?? Owners ignored my email. Feel the business should pay for it.

What a gem!! Service was fantastic, plenty of parking, WiFi available for working, and the bagel sandwich lemme tell you - BOMB. I got the chicken salad on onion 👌 didn’t expect much but the flavor was amazing, crispy onion bits added crunch, the cucumbers added freshness. I was surprised and will def be back. They make their bagels fresh in the mornings so we got it nice and hot. Would love to maybe see a japapeño cheddar bagel one day? 🙊 hint hint, nudge nudge. But that’s just me 😂 Highly recommend! It does get kinda warm in here tho and not the most outlets.

Island Tonic drink was good. The espresso was stronger /more bitter than my normal Starbucks drink, but the citrus syrup & coconut milk balanced it out. I will visit again.

The best bagels I’ve found in LA. When I asked if they recommended my bagel toasted or not, they said no because they’re fresh: that’s usually a good sign that the bagels are going to be great…and they exceeded my expectations. Consistency is on the chewy side and very airy with a soft crunch to the crust that compliments the inside. Super nice staff and my drinks have always been quality. The entire space is open so you can see all food prep.

We are visiting LA and we found this cute bagel shop. The bagels are fresh and the cream cheese all whipped. Very yummy and the service was fabulous. Highly recommend anyone to give it a try. Will come back again.

See photo. I no longer patronize 1802. In my photo you can see the OPEN FACED egg salad I’m having at MAURY’S BAGELS and it is delicious. I also got a nice iced matcha that’s also delicious. Sorry 1802 but the only thing good about your place are the bagels and even then you tend to run out quickly so little variety but they are good. Your coffee beverages aren’t so great but I did enjoy the espresso but there isn’t much to it maybe three swallows worth. I will acknowledge that a couple of the servers were nice but the manager in particular isn’t very. Telling me that they sometimes make the exception to make the egg salad open-faced for certain people. I guess I am not a certain people. I think she meant the customers with pink and blue hair or their frou frou dogs.

Great coffee also the bagels here are also great. They have a small parking lot so don't settle for street parking. The bagel sandwiches are quite a production so don't order one unless you are prepared for the experience. Just as good as loquat across the street, which is also really good. Nice place to do the laptop thing.

Walk in and enjoy some great coffee/espresso that is Roasted in-house with outrageously good bagels. They do have a variety of other pastries but their Saint- Raf bagels are exceptional and sell out quick.

They roast their beans in house and they are delicious. Since getting a fancy espresso machine we have tried almost all of their flavors. Also the spice cake was delightful.

With the new bagels they are serving along with their coffee, this place is everything you want in a neighborhood coffee shop. Love that they kept the drive thru even years after the initial stages of the pandemic. Win win all around. Love the staff as well

Going to 1802 for pour overs has become our favorite weekend routine. The coffee is delicious, the pastries are tasty and the service is stellar. I was so excited when I found out they were coming to the neighborhood and we’re so glad they are here! 1802 is even better now with espresso drinks now that the shop has opened. We’ve also made friends in the community.

Just discovered this place! Well thought out space with a ton of reclaimed wood and environmentally friendly furniture and finishes that were used in the shop. The coffee is fantastic and the pastries & food items exceptional! Parking is easy as they have their own parking but is a good place to bike to as well with Cypress Ave. having a bike lane. The outdoor seating is great with fantastic views. I ended up getting a pourover coffee and biscuit. Will be back for sure!

Such a cute spot. Third wave coffee with a few fun extras like the Island Espresso Tonic. Great beans and all fairly priced single origin coffee. If you're lucky Tagalog takeover out back making some delicious food. Outdoor space and parking :)

I loved this cafe-- everything from its aesthetics to the yummy Dutch latte and the service. The barista was very nice and explained the drinks to me. They have nitro cold brew here which is a plus and ample seating including an outdoor patio area. This is a great place to settle down for a few hours to get some work done or catch up with a friend.
