This store is the worst they carry sick IGUANAS they say that they are in a bad shed but they all have a fungal skin and can cause them too suffer and lose their appetite and die ( I didn't know that till mine died). They need to take better care of the animals I just bought mine and it passed away... Never again!!!

Decided to buy me a turtle the employee was very kind and patient when I was picking the turtle of my choice 2 days later he wouldn't eat So I called and An asked about the food they gave the turtles Another employee told me the specific brand so now he is happy and eating thank you.

Helpful pet place! You can find about almost anything you need for your pets! From food to toys and occasions and even little beds for the little loved friends. Pets are also sold here such as hamsters, rabbits, fish and snakes or what have you. Not sure if there are any kittens, however. But you will find all kinds of fun stuff for your loved pet. They even have treats! They sell them by the pound! They also have a grooming service for the pets! Makes you want to go to the salon or the barber.. lol! Woof, woof, meow, meow, peep peep!

Very clean store, they actually had the filter cartridges I needed. I used to go to another Petco and they always never had any. Thank you for having the item in stock!

I love shopping at Petco with my k9, for his food and supplies. It's always a shopping experience we look forward to. My k9 loves coming to these stores!

I bought a male betta fish for my office a few days ago. I walked into the store, asked for help and had an associate assist me with EVERYTHING I needed to get set up and keep my new little friend alive. She was wonderful and explained things so well and I was able to leave with everything I needed. If you're like me and you're buying a new friend but you have no idea what you're doing, this is a great location to visit to get guidance with your purchases.

I rake my dog for growing. They call me back in 42min that he was ready I went pick them up and surprise he was dirty and shredding a lot now hair but smelling good. I take it to the one in downey and just like every time we take him there an excellent work. Sorry bell Gardens petco you need to step up on your job is hard to be unemployed

My baby Willow has been going to PetCo for grooming since 2018 with Dolores. Everything was fine until I couldn’t get a hold of her anymore so I tried new groomers. One groomer, which is a male told me that he could not cut her hair no more because she was too hard to handle, and nervous. The third groomer, which I believe is the head of the grooming gave me an appointment mind you without explaining her illnesses, so the day that I went to the appointment she ends up telling me that she has arthritis and she can’t deal with dogs very much, so if she starts cutting her hair and can’t finish, she would leave her like that that is insane. She shouldn’t even be working if she can’t control dogs but like I said since 2018 never had a problem with her now everybody’s telling me that she’s, hard to handle she moves to much she stresses out I think it’s absurd. She now goes to Posh pooch and her first time there they told me they had no trouble with her. Everything went fine and they do a very good job. Pricey, but a very good job.

The cashier was super nice and helpful, she noticed what I was buying and gave me more recommendations that could help my dogs with their fleas and was overall very kind

Very clean, very good customer service. And their grooming department does very good work.

It closes at 7:00pm on Sundays, not at 8:00pm. Online says at 8:00pm it closes on Sunday. I suggest an Edit to the store hrs. Orderd online and got there just to find it was closed. Had to drive to another Petco for my purchase and buy again what I ordered.

Emily and two others employees were so kind and helped me build my carrier when I was holding my kitten. Above and beyond service.

I am quite surprised at the knowledge one of the staff members had about betta fish. Her name was Emily and she was very informative and helpful. I appreciate when employees know their stuff! Thanks again Emily my betta is one happy swimmer.

Well stocked Petco with friendly employees. I called a couple of Petcos before my trip to buy a particular brand of dog treats and dealt with no pickup or a long wait only to have a store employee not able to answer my question. With the Bell Gardens Petco a friendly voice promptly answered my call and quickly confirmed they had what I was looking for. Once there, I easily found what I needed in the well organized store and the checkout clerk was pleasant and helpful.

Came at night right before closing They where locking up 5 mins before I get it for safety believe me. Regardless I was let in bc it wasn’t closed yet. Got what I needed and asked for teeth cleansing suggestion. Not only did I get info for my pups but I got outstanding service and that is not very common. You usually get the attitude right before end of shift. I was so happy not to and I appreciate these ladies for the help. Thank you a lot Yocelyn my experience was very very outstanding from the sincerity of the recommendations to the thank you when I left. This is recognizable thank you again!

The items at Petco are very nice walked out with a sturdy harness for my pugski she's growing so she needed something sturdier a little bit pricey 🤑I just hope it last a while. Staff is very courteous store is very clean I really like my Petco in Bell Gardens🙋‍♀️
