My experience with Brighter Smile Dentistry has been deeply disappointing, primarily in terms of financial ethics. The practice overcharged me by hundreds of dollars, a discrepancy confirmed by my insurance provider. I caution others to diligently verify charges with their insurance before settling any bills. What’s more concerning is their refusal to respond to months of attempts by my insurance provider, Cigna. Despite providing evidence of double billing and false refund claims, the practice remains unresponsive. Even a complaint filed with the BBB has yielded no resolution because they refuse to respond. This lack of transparency and accountability raises serious concerns about their ethical practices in financial matters. In addition a formal complaint has been filed with VA office of Consumer Affairs to condu a thorough investigation into the financial descriptions at this practice. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Kavianpour. From the front desk to the hygienists and to her, everyone is so kind and inviting- makes going to the dentist an easy trip . She educates you on your dental health and what needs to be done in order to be healthy.

Went through root canal and for crowning and I would say Dr Kavianpour is nice Dr and charges for rootcanal are also reliable in comparison to other dentist if you have dental insurance such as Metlife PDP plus. Overall I am satisfied with the service and also don't have any toothache now.

The entire staff kind, and patient, and Dr. Kavianpour is extremely caring — I always feel comfortable when I am going in for an appointment. They make sure to answer any questions I have and provide me with as much information as possible when making decisions. I initially sought out Dr. Kavianpour due her experience with dental pain. I got a filling done by another dentist and had pain for months after - to which the other dentist told me was normal for the location and size of my filling. It would range from minor to pretty moderate and it came to the point where it was very bothersome. I found Dr. Kavianpour on ZocDoc due to her specialization in dental pain (and the experience in cosmetic dentistry as well) and came in. The staff in the office were both professional and friendly and the office itself was clean. Long story short - my filling should’ve been crowned (my opinion) from the start and probably root canal-ed months ago (also my opinion). Dr. Kavianpour and staff did a fantastic job 1) explaining all the procedures/steps and answered questions that I had without being rude or condescending 2) explained insurance coverage and out of pocket costs with me before any procedure clearly and willing to work with me on payments and 3) ensured I was comfortable and managed my pain very well during all the procedures. They are also fast and efficient during procedures - my root canal by the endodontist was quick and honestly felt no different than getting a filling. Same for my crown. They were also willing to work with me and my schedule since I also caught a cold. I would definitely recommend this dentist and team. I’m pretty okay with going to the dentist but I would also recommend this office if you are someone who feels a bit tense going to the dentist.
