don’t go to that store the employees were super rude and disrespectful. one of the older guy was flirting with customers that were way under age and they do not let us go in the same fitting room just to give each other our opinions and yelled at us because they wanted us to go different rooms they were very disrespectful , they need respect! they were very unpatient ! when my friend was trying to pay and the employee kept staring at her the whole time holding the bag in her face! we felt very uncomfortable and I’m just telling you to go to that store.

Fun store! Lots of good options for shoes and apparel. Haven’t bought a board here. Didn’t see any anti-hero/grimple gear. I try to shop local skate shops for my son, but unfortunately not many options here in Loudoun like there is in Charlottesville. This is a good alternative. Staff super friendly and helpful… Probably because I’m obviously a mom who was last-minute gift shopping.

Awesome helpful employees, recommended me some great skate gear and were pleasant to be around. Also skipped to 90210 so that made it a 5 star regardless.

i had such a wonderful experience at this store! i came in and wasn’t sure what i was looking for, and the employees were all so helpful. i had no clue they had so many deals almost everything is buy one get one half off. i ended up getting my first board built on a different trip here and i love it! 100% the best zumiez location i’ve been to definitely check it out :)

Terrible experience over Christmas. I bought "Alien workshop" skateboard for my son through their website. On my trip to US (I live overseas) Came to the Dulles Town Centre shop to pick it up a couple of days before Christmas. Was given a board with no original packaging (knew nothing on the subject of buying skateboards at the time. Absolute dummy). Flew home and hid it away until Christmas. The night before Christmas picked it up to gift wrap to discover that it's warped (twisted along longitudinal axis). Careful examination reviled quite a number of small scratches and dents (suspected it had been used or belonged to a very old stock). As it was too late to get another present I put it under the Christmas tree as a present for my 9 y.o. son and made up a story about Santa getting caught up in a snow storm that effected the shape of the board. As I live overseas and only come to US on occasions I could not exchange it as quickly as I wanted. Besides I had to come up with another believable story for my son about why the board disappeared for few days. Now I tried every trick under the sun the bend it back to a usable shape. It's come a long way and actually became usable as now all wheels of both trucks almost touch the ground. (Before one truck was off by 15-20 degrees). In short, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to get an honest service and have yourself a trouble free and enjoyable Festive Season.

Came in Christmas Eve looking for a last minute skateboard as a gift for my son’s best friend. Didn’t know what I was looking for so I asked for assistance. Marty was able to help answer all the questions I had. He showed me the differences between the sizes and whether a board was used for cruising vs a board used to do tricks. He put the grip tape on while we waited and the cashier offered to box it before we left. Great overall experience.

The store manager is a really knowledgeable and cool guy. He took a ton of extra time, while setting up new wheels and bearings, to diagnose other issues with my 5 year old longboard I brought in. I'm really confident that with the advice he gave me, I can keep my board in good condition for another few years. Awesome experience, and the rest of the merchandise is stylish and well organized. If you skate, or want to, they'll definitely help you get started.

The manager helped me and my daughter pick out a board and showed her how to put it together, even recommended his favorite skateparks to go to 10/10!

I recently went to this location to purchase clothes for my children the assistant manager on duty ken helped me tremendously. He was very polite and patient, he helped me find the right sizes and he is the reason I will continue to shop here. He was awesome

Ask for Alison she will make you and your board fire af, not to mention she has a cool hydro flask. Decks so bomb TSA won’t let them through, deals so fire there setting the alarms off, staff so fire you’ll be sad from 9:30pm-10am, management so fly you think your on delta.

We visit this location once a year for gear and equipment and the employees are not only knowledgeable but very patient and kind!!! They are generous with their time and expertise no matter who we have encountered over the years. I have 3 adolescent and tween sons that are still learning their craft and they've learned so much from the staff at every visit.
