😠 I'm not overly thrilled with Red Door and honestly won't be back. A place so nice, I had to do it twice (in a day). My group of escapees had a great time with the puzzles. Sure, we needed a little help along the way, but we still felt the rooms were fair and fun. We'd booked The Gift for our group, but ended up also booking Fair Game for the same day because we'd had such a great time. Both Lia and Bella were fantastic guides. The rest of the staff was also friendly and willing to have a good time. I especially appreciated the lockers and accommodations for my handicap. I can't speak to the wheelchair experience, but they offered a folding chair for me to place and sit, and it's always deeply appreciated.

I'm not overly thrilled with Red Door and honestly won't be back. When we initially started the games, we were told how to ask for hints and maybe we misunderstood, but the three of us there thought the guy told us he would come tell us a hint within 20 seconds. When we asked for the first hint, we waited for it for a while before figuring out the next step on our own. We were confused that we never got the hint. It wasn't until after asking for the second hint and going to get an employee because nobody came that we were told the hints would appear on the screen. That wasted a lot of our time. Since the game master was supposed to be watching and listening, I don't understand why he didn't hear us discussing that we were waiting for him to come and instead come tell us where to see the hint. My next issue is with the features of the game that were broken. There were three different parts where we were doing the right thing, but the feature simply didn't work and we wasted quite a bit of time on them. Yet again, the game master should have been watching, realized there was a malfunction, and stepped in. There was one feature that wouldn't work and it wasn't until we left the room to ask for help that it magically did what it was supposed to do. We were also told each feature was only to be used for one thing, but one of them was used for two. It was ok I guess. The puzzles themselves were clever, but after all the issues it felt overpriced. When we finished the room, the game master even apologized for the issues we had so he clearly was aware that there and been malfunctions. I would have appreciated being offered a partial refund for the issues rather than a discount if we rebook.

My friend and I went here twice in a day during a cross-country road trip. We were exhausted by the time we arrived, but the hosts we had made everything fantastic! Their amazing energy, hard work and respect they showed us really stood out. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and interesting, with a perfect balance of difficulty! We have done well over 50 other escape rooms at this point, but Riverton's Red Door Escape will forever be known to us as one of the best. Special thanks to our hosts Lia and Landon for a truly amazing time! ❤️

Edit: Moved to 5 stars. The owner personally called me the next day. He had already spoken to the staff from that night to make sure these things didn't happen again. He was very kind and understanding. He made sure that it was made right. Thank you so much for that! The room was fun, but for $200, I would hope that all the props would have worked and that there would have been enough staff to not leave us unattended for minutes while we waited for a clue. I had to open the main door to get someone's attention to get a clue. We tried multiple times to alert the staff that the prop wasn't working. Then, after the time was up and it was clear that the prop was broken the staff just shrugged it off and pitched us to come and spend more money another time. No attempt to make it right. I would have given it rave reviews if someone had attempted to understand that everything should be working perfectly when people spend so much money to do this. And given some sort of attempt to make it right. I won't be taking my family back here.

SUMMARY Finished 3 of their rooms here. Was very impressed with the first room in their "story", and the circus room was pretty good, but the fairy tale room didn't feel as polished. It's very annoying that they require you to fill out a new form before every visit. They also force you to listen to their rules every single time you come. FULL REVIEW ✨ EXPERIENCE ✨ When I say the experience varies between rooms I'm talking about the quality of the puzzles and props. Most of the puzzles are well done but there's quite a few in the fairy tale room that just didn't make sense or flow like the puzzles in the other rooms we tried. The stories for each room were pretty cool, but they're supposed to all connect and so far after doing 3 rooms I don't see any connections so might want to improve that part of the story. 🛎️ SERVICE 🛎️ Like I mentioned before it's weird and frustrating that they make you fill out a form every single time you come in. Also frustrating that there are required fields to fill out like both email and phone number are required? Just require one, you don't need both from us. Also, even when they know you've been in before they repeat the rules or make you watch stupid videos about the rules. It's not that complicated.

Went here expecting to escape from prison, but wasn’t able to escape in time, and the cops showed up and arrested us. They strip searched and cavity search me, and no one else in my group. Maybe it’s because I’m a minority, maybe it’s because I had a pound of Columbian bam bam on my person. Either way, had a blast at Red Door Escape Room, even if I ended up spending a night in jail. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

This may be a long review, but it's worth sharing! My husband and I went to Red Door Escape Room yesterday for our anniversary, and it was a very last-minute thing. Lizzie was our game host, and she was fantastic the whole time! Midway through our game, something happened with the building's power and a few things popped open that shouldn't have due to the power incident. Our game was stopped and we were brought out to the lobby while the issue was fixed. The whole team at this location worked very quickly to get the issue fixed, as this was no fault of theirs and this was the first time anything like this had happened! They were calm and collected about the whole thing, and were so apologetic (even though, again, it was no fault of theirs!). They allowed us to restart the room and were so kind about the whole thing. Lizzie was a champ as well, and we appreciated her positive attitude! The rooms are immersive, clean, and not cluttered like other escape rooms we've been to. This was BY FAR our favorite escape room venue and one that we will be visiting again!

We had a group of 5, most of whom had never done an escape room. We did Fair Game and it was a lot of fun and well set up. The one disappointing factor was that we did not quite finish and were rushed out of the room without any explanation as to how to solve the puzzles we had spent a lot of time with. It would have been nice to have some closure and not left wondering what we did wrong. I'm not sure if that is standard practice or not. I recognize that another group had booked the room after us and I'm sure it takes a fair amount of time to get everything reset. Also, our entire group did not arrive until 5 minutes before our booking time as opposed to the requested 15 so perhaps that contributed to the rush (although another group arrived 15 minutes early for another episode and didn't get in any sooner than we did). With that said, after dropping $200, it would have been nice for the game master to spend a minute or two walking through the unsolved puzzles rather than being ushered out. That aside, I'd recommend Red Door.

My boyfriend and I just visited Red Door Escape Room, and we had an amazing experience doing the Confinement room. The staff were all so friendly and helpful (shoutout to our stellar game master, Gabby- she’s amazing) and added to our experience. The room was so immersive, and we were so impressed with how detailed the room was. It was the perfect balance of difficult and solvable, and we were on the edge of our seats the whole time. We go to a lot of escape rooms, and this one was one of the best BY FAR. We will definitely be coming back! I would recommend this to anyone looking for an escape room to try.

Best escape room I have been to in a long time! VERY immersive. Keeps you moving. Your not stick in one room the whole time. The one we did had 3 different rooms. Decoding and unlocking methods were very creative. I was a big fan! Will definitely be going back!

Super fun and great for kids. The 12 year olds had no problems figuring out clues but there was also enough to engage the adults. It was a bit crazy at the max amount of people for each room, so larger parties you may want to spilt into multiple rooms.

I really love this place and have done 3 rooms in total but this 3rd time really had me bugged. It was definitely a tough one, but the problem was with the lock. We figured out the code and tried it more than 10 times and then the game was over. The game host came in at the end and tried to unlock the lock and they couldn't open it either. They believed the lock may have been "reset" so even if we tried 1000 times we wouldn't have gotten it unlocked for the next clue. I feel like this was unfair and we didn't get anything to make up for their mistake. The game host also did not walk us through the end, they just said, "You were only a few steps away. Did you have anything in the lockers?" We felt like we were rushed out at the end and no one has ever made us feel that way until tonight. They always ask how we liked it, showed us what we missed and made the end of the game just as exciting as when we walk in the door. I still would recommend this place and I know I am coming back soon, but I feel like I should be reimbursed, or given 10 minutes of the time we lost to try and finish out the game... Something!?!?!
