I had a deep cleaning at Sandy Modern Dentistry. I was nervous because I have a lot of sensitivity. But Tamara really went out of her way to give me the best service and care I’ve ever received. She treated me like a friend. Always was sure to explain the process, made sure I was numbed up correctly. I could tell she genuinely cared about me. And that meant the most! I had a wonderful experience and I’m so grateful for Tamara!! Thank you!!!

I came for a deep cleaning, which I was nervous about since I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in many years. Tamara did an excellent job cleaning my teeth; she was as gentle as she could be on my gums and talked me through the process so I knew what was happening. I feel like I have a new set of teeth, and I couldn't be happier! Front desk staff was also amazing--very knowledgeable about insurance, and laid out costs very plainly and clearly beforehand so I knew what to expect and could make appropriate decisions regarding my treatment. Very happy with my experience at Sandy Modern Dentistry!

I lost a tooth and needed some extra work on my gums. They were able to get everything done with in two days and I’m no longer toothless. In house financing was fair price and easy to use. Thank you!

I typically have a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist, but ever since I started going to Sandy Modern Dentistry I look forward to my appointments. The staff is friendly and personable from the second you walk in the door. The guy at the front desk is happy to help in any way he can and it sets the tone for the rest of the visit. I have very sensitive teeth and the staff is so accommodating and gentle. They are very thorough with their explanations and honest about what’s going on in your mouth. I have been to dentists that try and nickel and dime you for every little thing, but the staff here genuinely cares about your oral health and just wants to make sure you’re healthy. Thank you for making what used to be a scary experience actually enjoyable SMD! I can’t leave another review but this is a year later and I got my teeth cleaned by Tamara. She couldn’t have been more wonderful! With thorough explanations and a positive attitude, she exceeded any dental service I’ve had. She also helped me find the most cost effective way to go about my treatments that I need done. Thank you Tamara for being gentle and kind!!

I went to this dentist for a cleaning a month ago and I was denied service because I wouldn't purchase their lazer treatment ($400 out of pocket) nor agree to the total $4000 dental work that included an implant. When I asked why the dentist couldn't perform the work (she insisted on being called a doctor) she said that the work would be a "malpractice". This so called professional is obviously living in a different reality or just having a bad day. I went to another dentist and let the dentist know what happened at Sandy Modern Dentistry and he laughed and said that he has heard "several" stories about Sandy Modern Dentistry about mouth health exaggeration for the purpose of extracting revenue. They also request to take your photo for their customer data base. That is weird and alarming considering the lack of security around their cloud servers.

From check-in to dental work, the staff is very friendly and warm. I’ve been afraid of going to the dentist for years and I finally made the decision to come here and I’m so happy I did. Tamara and Dr. Mac perform their work with such care and sincerity in making sure I am put at ease with the work being done on my teeth. I’ve recommended them to everyone.

Highly recommend Dr. Mac, entire staff, and the relaxing, warm feel of their office. They combine the newest, high-tech equipment with genuine caring and attention to detail in everything they do. I’ve never had a dentist fix my bite alignment so well and know exactly what to do. So glad I found them (tucked behind Los Cucos Mexican Cafe)!

Dr Mac is my fav! She cares about longevity of my teeth and overall oral health. My prior cleanings done at another place was horrible but Dr Mac is always able to take extra care of cleaning and make sure everything is good. She also walks me through my X-rays to show me my biting and alignment and possible solutions of avoiding the enamel wear and tear. Excellent service! Definitely recommend!
