This is a great place to eat if you're hungry and in the mood for all you can eat stir fry! You get to go through the options and fill your own bowl with all the noodles, veggies, meat, and sauces you like and you can go back as many times as you want. We went early afternoon so it wasn't very busy which meant we got to go straight through the line with no wait and everything was completely stocked which was really nice. It is a bit pricey, but you can a ton of food, so you are definitely getting what you pay for.

I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life. The cook (Ansel), was atrocious. Out right aggressive and demeaning after I apologized for over filling my bowl with sauce. My first time up to the grill, it was just myself and my two dinning mates, for 2 cooks. My noodles were severely overcooked to the point of being crunchy. I started to regret tipping the cook before I'd eaten anything. However I did not complain, just decided to try a second helping after eating most of my first. I used different noodles, hoping to prevent them being over done, but when I got to the sauce station I remembered our waitress had recommended 6-8 scoops of sauce to really get the flavor and not leave the food tasting bland. I got 7 in and noticed it was full to the brim, regretting my mistake I tried very hard not to spill on the floor while taking it over to the grill. I apologized to Ansel and made him aware of my mistake, to which he replied, "No you're not". I have never been so affronted while being served. I have been spit at, yelled at and physically assaulted in my work as a nurse, but never expected this out of someone that A) I had already tipped and B)Attempted to humbly apologize to for an error I made. I try very hard to not make more work for others and was floored at the disrespect and aggressive nature Ansel displayed. I will not be returning to any of these restaurants given that things are so bad, staff are openly hostile to patrons. I suggest Charlie Chows as a perfectly adequate substitute. Service and food are excellent if you are willing to travel downtown.

Mongolian Invasion! HuHot has been around for a good while, and not much has changed since they first opened. The food is fresh, high quality, and because you choose every ingredient, you can make a million different dishes. The sauces are well done and there are probably 3 dozen different sauces to choose from to further customize your dish. Meats, noodles, veggies, are good quality. The meats are lean which is rare at these kind of places. Service was great, though one of the cooks was not in the greatest of moods, tossing bowls around in obvious dislike of his job, however, i won't hold that against the location as finding good help these days is really hard. Our waitress was great, friendly, and prompt. Price is up from what it was a few years ago, but this is on par with the rest of the industry and everything else. If you go before 4 pm you pay less. Wednesdays, kids eat free, so you can save yourself some dough. Located right off the 106th south I-15 exit and next to the mall, it's an easy location to get. Parking is pretty good as well. If you enjoy a good Mongolian stir fry, HuHot won't disappoint you!

Maybe I know how to do the right mix but the food was amazing. Everyone was super friendly! My only suggestion is to do better mopping cause floors were sticky.

I feel bad saying this but Hu Hot has really gone down hill. Granted I haven't been here in over a year. Many of the options in the selection area were just, out, including the sauces. The noodles were rubbery and stuck together in a big mass. Many utensils were missing or just gross. Someone I was with had a crab noodle veggie dish, as the guy took it and started cooking it another guy almost immediately came around and scraped it onto a plate. There's no way that was cooked in the 15-20 seconds it was on the grill (the taste reflected that too). They almost did the same with my plate until they saw pink chicken. Luckily it was cooked thoroughly after that. Every plate we got had an odd smell, some kind of fishy cleanser smell. I've never had that in the dozen or so times I've been here over the years. I'd say I'd give it another try just in case it was an off night, but in the time it's been since I've last been there, the prices also went up. So I just can't recommend this place anymore...

This was our first visit to a HuHot Mongolian Grill. We came with family who love eating here. According to their youngest, the food here is "Tasty! Tasty! Tasty!" And, it was! We had the all-you-can-eat buffet. There was such a large variety of food to choose from. We filled our bowls with our choice of noodles, rice, meats, fish, veggies, sauces, etc. The guys that were working the grill were amazing to watch. The food was stir-fried to perfection. We arrived shortly before they shut down the grill at 7 p.m., so we didn't refill our plates. There weren't many people here either, but maybe that's because it was a Tuesday night. If you haven't tried Mongolian cuisine, I suggest you give it a try. We'll definitely come back here again.

My first time eating here. The service was friendly and professional. The restaurant itself was clean and had a uniqueness to it. All you can eat for a set price! Make your own dish and they will cook it for you. I went back for seconds, it was just that good! The pricing was also reasonable!

I have severe reactions to gluten. Not diagnosed celiac, but I most likely am. When I came tonight they gave me a separate colored bowl and the awesome girl (with blue tipped hair) behind the counter scrubbed the cooking surface so well there is no way anything was left on it that could’ve made me sick. She scrubbed long and hard. The waitress was super nice and attentive too. I will DEFINITELY be back. It’s nice to feel safe when eating out. I don’t get that very often. Many people don’t understand that one crumb of wheat throws me into two weeks of stomach problems, muscle tension, poor sleep, migraines. It sounds ridiculous but it’s true. Grateful for a great experience tonight. Thank you!

Today was my first experience at HuHot. It was quite busy during the holiday week, long lines. There is a buffet section for meat and protein, a section for vegetables, and a station for sauces. Patrons get a bowl and can load up with any combination they want. Cooks use the Mongolian grill to cook each bowl. HuHot is buffet style, so you can eat as much as you want. My teen boys liked that! The food tasted good. The restaurant was very busy. The stations items got refilled while I was there, but I didn’t see any employees straightening ip or cleaning up the stations. They were pretty messy. And the floor in the station areas was littered with dropped vegetables and sticky substances, which was a turn off.

My first time eating here. The server made me feel rushed, we had to ask for refills on our drinks. We had to ask what they had for dessert. Then about 4 hours after we left and for two days afterwards...we had VERY upset stomachs and diarrhea. I don't think that kitchen is very clean from what I could see looking in, and the holding tables didn't seem very cold. I will be letting the local health department in on our experience there so others don't go through what we did. To the owners...TRY HARDER.

We've been coming here for years, and have generally had a good experience. We have some special dietary needs, and they are always very accommodating. The cooks have burned themselves many times trying to clean the grill for us so our food is safe from possible allergens. However, all of their best cook staff quit, and it's just not the same anymore. The grill is not cleaned very well, and the food is either overcooked or undercooked. The busier it is, the worse the food gets. I understand having to hire and train a new staff, especially when so many keep quitting, but I do wish they would do more to retain their workers; pay them better or something. This is one of the few restaurants we can eat at with our allergy needs, and it's disappointing that it's gone so far downhill. Please make it a good place to work, so that it can become a great place to eat again.

Very fun and exciting time! You choose all of the ingredients for your own meal, I'd recommend checking their website for one that sounds good, then you can add whatever else you want. After that they cook it in front of you and then enjoy! If it sounds a little intimidating, try it out! It's very simple and soo delicious!

Nov 21st! All the employees were super friendly, and the whole place was clean. We got there about 40 minutes before they shut the grills down. You pick your own ingredients buffet-style, load up with sauce (no combo is bad!) and the insanely quick grill masters will cook it up for you. Nothing could've made this experience better. Waters were always full, and I honestly have no complaints. Definitely high on our list, and we can plan on returning next time we're in town.

My teen daughter had eaten here before. She highly recommended that I try it. I was thoroughly impressed with the food, the service, and the atmosphere.

Nov 13, 2023: Party of 5. The food was great, wasn't to busy. Our server was friendly and great and attentive. He was really pleasant. Was clean and comfortable. Even my one child who is a very fussy/picky eater actually enjoyed himself. We all said we'd go back again sometime.

In order for your food to be somewhat appetizing, you need to know which sauces mix well, as you are basically preparing your own food. NOT typical buffet style, only a mongolian grill and this disgusting "Bang Bang Chicken" which is drowning in sauce. The cooks will yell at you for not knowing THEIR process, it was a first and last try for my friends and I, the experience was not even worth a star. Not to mention the poor waiting service, and the absolutely disgusting bathroom.

Still great. I love watching other people work hard to cook my food. And I love mixing up whatever I want them to cook. Not necessarily for those who like to sit and be served... but I think standing for a few minutes is worth the variety. The servers are awesome here too. They even cater to gluten allergies here if you tell them, which I could care less about, but my co-worker does! So yeah, solidly good food experience.

We went on a weekend night and it got pretty busy. The food is good. The cleanliness was not great, but they had staff restocking the buffet and wiping up the mess as fast as they could. All the reviews I read are pretty spot on. Although I left stuffed, still felt a little overpriced.

I'm impressed with this restaurant. I didn't realize it was a buffet style place, but the atmosphere is great. It's fun to watch the cooks make my food. Plus, they offer a great variety of items to build on, so each plate can be different. Overall, I loved it here.

Food is ok. Basic selections on protein (beef, pork, chicken, bacon, couple seafood items), carbs (3-4 types of noodles, steamed rice), multiple choices for vegies and sauces. Food is cooked while you wait (I highly suggest tipping the cooks too, they are doing a good job), good customer service. Only thing that I think needs improvement is on their sauce area. There is a tendency to make a mess if customer is not careful so sauce could be all over. Mixing it with other sauce, on the counter or on the floor. Otherwise, food is good, handed to you by the cook fresh off the cooking surface and fun place to eat with family and friends.

We enjoyed the experience. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The food is very dependant on choices you make before it is all cooked on the flat top grill. Now, I would have been a lot more comfortable had the restaurant been cleaner. With so many people carrying their plates around, food gets dropped. I get that but...

We really enjoy HuHot. Because it's a build your own meal you can make every trip different and still enjoy your favorites. Choose your base, your meats, your veggies, and your sauces! 100's of combinations and a fun atmosphere to boot. We had a party of 5 and saw groups as large as 20 as well as people by themselves. The decor is fun to look at too.

This place is fun. The staff genuinely care. If you leave hungry, that's on you. So many delicious options and they'll cook it for you.

Fantastic lunch but dinners can be a bit crowded. Our server worked her butt off to keep us with refills and things we need. The building has infant seats but doesn't cater to children. All the trays are pretty tall and I would think kids under 10 ( aprox 4') will need help getting what they want. The kitchen staff work in a circle around the grill and sometimes things touch and sometimes your order does burn a bit. But it's a nice atmosphere. Not very clean but that's because people drop things as they set up their bowls of food , aka not the fault of the staff. The tables are clean and they are quick to take finished plates from you. Good dining experience.

This is a fun place to go with friends or a family. Children will need help dishing noodles and other items out. They have suggested sauces for different flavored bowls and offer a lot of toppings for the buffet. You can order additional items off of the menu for extra. I recommend just the buffet. You can reserve rooms for parties.

Great food and variety. Plenty of parking and a great variety of seating inside. Friendly staff. Plenty to order through the menu on top of what's available at the buffet. Tuesdays are apparently seafood night, though baby clams, mussels, and imitation crab were available when I went. Free refills with drink purchase. Wide range of spicy and not so spicy sauces.

I love a this place. All you can eat stir fry, buffet style, where you add your own ingredients and they cook it in front of you. What I really appreciate here is that there's a calorie count on every ingredient, making it easy to track. They do a good job of keeping the food bars clean. The last time I was there, the cilantro was not great, but that's not always the case. It you have food allergies, you NEED to communicate that to the staff. Everyone's food is cooked on the same hot rock and with the same tools so that will absolutely be a problem for you. You do get a waiter/waitress, and there is a menu you can order from if you don't want stir fry. Prices are what you would expect for all you can eat that involves meat. We usually feed two of us for around $50 after tip. ADVICE: the bowls are small. If you need more space, fill a second bowl and when you take it to the counter to cook, place them right next to each other (touching) so they cook and plate it together. Don't place your bowls together if you're in a party, or you'll all be sharing a stir fry. Leave space between each bowl if you do not want them cooked together.

Second time coming here and never a disappointment. Food is delicious and always cooked perfect. Love the variety in meats, veggies and sauces. Endless options you can choose from. I do come during the day so there’s not a lot of people so that’s nice. But I’m sure during the weekend it does get pretty busy so I can imagine the lines are a-lot longer. If you can go early or during the day, if you want to avoid the crowds.
