COVID disappointment, Upon check in was notified the hotel does not clean rooms for stay unless asked I was staying four nights and I requested clean room every day. first day was great came back to room after working and found room clean. then nothing, room not clean second day or third day. Out of coffee, out of cups, needed to fetch towels. Disappointment for sure. They should discount the rooms if they are not cleaning them. This is after requesting the room to be cleaned a few times.

We stayed there over a week, extending as needed. We had a small puppy with us and paid the pet deposit. The staff kept making false claims about us and our pet. The sales director, Monica, threw us out of the hotel, which caused my wife to confront her and Bella, a manager, about the claims. They didn't like the exchange, and called the police on my wife. The police issued no citation because we were not in the wrong. I then pointed out that Bella and Pedro were discussing our payment methods in Portuguese with disdain and laughing about it. I informed them that I understand Spanish and Portuguese and didn't appreciate it. They were even talking to the police about my 86yo mother with dementia, like that is even any of their business!!! I then informed them that the housekeeping staff leave their master key fobs unattended and that anyone could grab it, enter any room, and rob guests or WORSE! I showed her video I recorded on the issue. I told Monica I was going to post the video of the unattended key fobs, and she said "I would rather you didn't do that." Well, I would rather you didn't throw paying guests out of the hotel, especially honors members and Hilton owners LIKE US! We will never be back to that hotel and I won't book it for friends and family either when they visit us.

I am frustrated with how management handled my stay. I wanted to extend for a day and went to the front desk to inquire. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. He let me know he needed to set up a new reservation, which I was okay with. When he quoted me the new price, I indicated that was more than I was willing to pay. He said he would over ride the price, which was 2 1/2 times what I had paid for my current stay. I gave my card and expressed my gratitude. A couple hours later, another staff called my room and said there wasn’t any record of my extension even though I had provided my credit card earlier. He said I needed to come talk to the manager, which I was happy to do. When I met with her, she was unwilling to honor what the morning staff had set up with me and wanted me to pay the full amount…of 2 1/2 times more than I had paid for the previous 3 days. I asked since I had already worked something out with staff earlier if she would at least split the difference with me. She wasn’t willing to do that, so I checked out. It’s been an inconvenience and unfortunately, they have lost a customer for life now.

The only reason I’m giving one star is because the front desk staff were so kind. These rooms are outdated but more importantly not being cleaned properly. Our bathtub still had a dirt ring in it and I found a man’s underwear beside the bed when there was no man with me. There’s cobwebs and dirt beside the night stands. Very dirty hotel I do not recommend.

Overall it was comfortable and quiet. Checking in was quick and easy. The room was clean and tidy. My only concern was the bathroom sink drained slowly, if at all, leaving a film of shaving cream and whiskers in the sink after shaving.

Real nice place to stay in SLC/Sandy, UT. Loved that there was very nice breakfast bar room. Had a lot I didn't expect. Will visit again, after the snow melts. Not fond of the icy cold days.

Jennifer is top tier employee that brings so much value to Hampton Inn. I was warmly greeted after a long day of traveling. She made accommodations for an early check-in. She made my four day stay at Hampton Inn unique and more comfortable every way possible. The rooms were very nicely cleaned with detailed hands on individuals who take pride in their work. They gym was immaculate, the breakfast was great the lovely worker had a smile on her face while she did dishes. It was a wonderful way to start my morning and she should be applauded. Excellent location; close to shopping a mall is right near by, I walked to dinner and very close to the interstate. 10/10 would stay here again!

Worst hotel stay I’ve had. One of the oldest hotels I’ve been in ever. Ugggh! The breakfast was cold and the eggs were obviously powdered. The mattress was saggy and uncomfortable. The only reason I gave two stars was that the coffee was good and the night clerk was kinda friendly. Spend the extra and go elsewhere!

The room was beautiful with a very good mini fridge. Very competitive prices for a few nights' stay and totally understanding when we got there at 4am! The fan in the bathroom wasn't working and there was no way to just rub a fan in the room instead of turning on the AC but overall a good experience. Satan was very friendly and happy to accommodate our stay!

Had an absolutely wonderful time while staying there. I won't knock off anything based on who else stayed there (rowdy teenagers) but overall the experience was very relaxing. I felt welcomed, and also respected for my desire to have privacy.

This place will rob you. After checking out my card was charged an additional $100 on top of not returning the money they held for incidentals. When I called to ask why they told me it was for paraphernalia and damages. I've been clean and sober for years so I knew they were lying. I asked to see the paraphernalia, they couldn't produce it. They asked if I'd like for the police to get involved I said yes I would. The police never contacted me. I called back and spoke to a "manager" who said he'd called the police himself, I asked for the contact information and he told me "911" he said he'd called 911 hours ago and the police still hadn't shown up. These people stole from me. More then $150. I guarantee they didn't expect me to push the issue, I'm covered in tattoos and they stereotyped me figuring I would not fight it. I had to dispute the charges with my card company, cancel my card and order a new one just because these people lack the capacity to be honest.

This hotel is getting older but they do an excellent job of keeping them sparkling clean. The ladies that prepare breakfast are always so friendly and do a great job. The young women at the desk did a last minute room change for me with no hassle. Right off the freeway so easy to get to.

Upon checking in, my husband and I were given a room with two beds instead of a king size bed. Geovanne, the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful as he immediately moved us to another room with a king size bed. Our room was very cute, clean, well stocked and absolutely perfect. Our stay was booked for several nights and to ease the workload on housekeeping, I usually decline cleaning or service during an extended stay but we did have quite a bit of trash in the room from our outings the previous evening and I used the hand towel to wipe up the condensation by the window from my hot shower so I stopped by one of the housekeeping staff to communicate this to her. My spanish was not that great so not fully understanding my request, she immediately called for service to my room. When I got back up to my floor, I met Gabby, from maintenance, (which I mistakenly thought the girl I spoke with had called) so I explained to her the situation was not urgent and just to relay it to housekeeping but she assured me that the staff were there to help in any way so she quickly brought me a fresh hand towel and took the trash out for me. She was very sweet and helpful. A few minutes later, the housekeeping staff (the ones that were called by the first girl I spoke with) was there to check on my requests. I explained to them that Gabby had already come by and they also reassured me that if I needed anything at all to just ask and they were there to help. I don't think I have ever met such nice hotel staff that were so helpful and accommodating. Looking forward to the rest of my stay and will definitely be back.

While the location of the hotel is quite convenient and within walking distance of many good restaurants, the sound of the interstate is ever-present. The grounds are well maintained; however, there is a, seemingly semi-permanant, sketchy van parked behind the dumpster and chiggers in the grass. The pool is nice, but the British Swim School conducts swimming lessons there every other day during peak hours. We booked a double queen room and one of the beds was filled with chip crumbs, which leads me to believe that housekeeping cuts corners. There are no microwaves in the rooms. The layout of the hotel is funky, but there's ample access to park your car in front of your window.

All the employees were very helpful & nice. The rooms are very comfortable. Their breakfast was great. The first day I was there they served omelets the next scrambled eggs & sausage with many other options.

This is a great hotel! Very nice and clean. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent exercise room. And definitely fantastic customer service! Arla, in the kitchen was so kind, friendly, a welcoming smile, and helpful. She was busy making sure things were great for everyone the whole time. When I asked for something, she quickly got exactly what I needed. Bella, was also wonderful when we checked in! All around, awesome experience!

Several of our family members were gathered for a funeral and staying at the Hampton. We met for breakfast in the dining area. I wanted to mention wonderful service we received from Arla and Lofa. They made sure we were well cared for. Also the receptionist last night (I think her name is Bella) was most kind and gracious.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, relatively quiet, mostly working AC/heater. Cons: Everything else. The bed was rock hard and the pillows paper thin. We asked to change rooms hoping for something marginally more comfortable but were told all the mattresses were the same. All the front desk could offer was to pass along a complaint to the general manager. The "lighting" in the room was dim, green, and insufficient. There was no vent in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay but very minimal and located in the lobby with hardly any seating. Go early or there'll be nothing left and the kids will have clogged up or broken the waffle machines. The ground floor smells like smoke even though all rooms are non-smoking. TLDR; I paid for a "3-star" hotel thinking it'd be simple but comfortable. I was wrong. Never going back.

Nice hotel near the heart of things in Sandy. Check in was wonderful and the concierge was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and even though I was right next to the motorway I couldn’t hear any noise from it. The hotel fitness center was decent and served its purpose. The only complaint I had was the bed had a strange slant on it like all pervious guests had only slept on one side but it isn’t something that bothered me enough to knock off a star.

We loved staying here. We especially loved the food service in the breakfast area. It was clean and stocked and ready to go. They were very friendly, nice and helped us if we needed any help. We will definitely plan to stay here again. Huge shout out to Lofa , Arla for their amazing service and creating a fun friendly atmosphere. We appreciate their service. We will be back soon. Thank you

Excellent. Pool was great for the kids, open late and early. Breakfast was also excellent. Whip cream and chocolate sauce for the waffles. Eggs and sausage. Great friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfy beds.

Good east to find location, though you do hear freeway noise from your room. Not bad but something to be aware of. Digital keys work great! Breakfast was well stocked and good options. Indoor Pool is a good size. Our personal pro is an actual bathroom door (we have a pet peeve with the new trend to have a barn door on new/remodeled hotels).

There is a video review on YouTube! Look up "Suite Vlogs" or "Is the Hampton inn worth it? (Sandy, UT)" to see exactly what a double queen room looks like. The room was clean and ready when I checked in. Breakfast had multiple options! Pool was clean and hot tub was functioning. Check the link to see a YouTube video of a double queen room, breakfast, pool, and workout room!

Room was clean and nicely furnished. Only problem is the TV wasn't working. They do however have a fantastic hot breakfast and the hostess was super. Had a kind word for everyone and spike to all the children.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Purchased rooms weeks in advance. My card was charged at that time. Checked in fine then realized they charged me again. Called the front office to ask why. She said they never charged me twice. I went to the front office to show them my multiple charges and they once again looked it up on their computer to tell me we weren't charged twice. I asked to talk to the manager which they stated he was unavailable and we would have to call Monday! I asked her to call him and she again refused and called the police because they don't know how to deal with issues that arise and the unwillingness to make a bad situation right. Customer service was a joke and to top it off the rooms are less than acceptable. Save yourself the trouble and stay across the street

Rooms are fine albeit darker in design. Decent, complimentary, warm breakfast each morning. Coffee bar all day and night is great. Staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Rooms are dated and smelled of cigaret smoke and febreezed heavily to cover the smell (not that they have been, but that's the smell). It was not pleasing and was strong. Wishing the black out window coverings were actually totally black out for light. Bathroom on the small side. Not much counter space.

Every staff member was so polite and friendly! The pool was the perfect temperature and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful, so many choices. And the breakfast staff made us feel like family. Our room was quiet, cool, and clean. The bed was nice and firm and comfortable. We had a very nice stay.

So, I can edit this review. Just talked to a guy that answered the phone. He said that they did not have anyone that worked there that fit the description of the girl that said we were charged too much and we would have money credited to our charge card. He said we had booked through Expedia and that was why. My receipt has nothing about Expedia. Sounds like someone is cooking the books somewhere. Save your money folks. There are other hotels there. We we're charged $139.00 a night and she said it should only have been $70.00 a night. She assured us it would be credited to our account. Will have to see. Still waiting on the credit to our account when we found out we had been way over charged. We were told the credit to our account would show in 5-7 days. So waiting. No credit, some is cooking the books and lying.

The room furnishings were above average for a mid-market business hotel, but there was no perceptible service, except for the very helpful and attentive ladies in the breakfast/kitchen area. As with almost all hotels during the pandemic, there is zero room service.

My friend Jen referred me to this hotel and it did not disappoint! Great staff at this location, very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were clean and we really enjoyed our stay!

The beds were terrible in room 114! The beds have thin mattresses with a lumpy metal frame below that does give good back support. The sheets had a strong smell of bleach and burned my wife's skin.

Excellent service from the initial reception (reception was super friendly and outgoing) to the following morning (inclusive) breakfast. The famous afternoon cookies were available ( two flavours). Room was spotless. Fridge actually worked cold enough to freeze water bottles and ice packs in the freezer section. Got the room we asked for on the first floor. Bed was comfortable and slept well. Morning breakfast was one of the best selections I have seen @ Hampton Inn for a long time. One of the best experiences I have had with Hampton that I can remember

The hotel is currently doing renovations. They were laying down new carpet in the lobby and on the first floor when we checked in. We waited over 15 mins to check in. There was no rep at the desk, just a sign that said BRB. Room does not have a microwave, just a mini fridge. There is a water fountain near the lobby which was helpful. Breakfast was okay. There was a lot of people at breakfast and the staff had a hard time keeping up with refilling the egg omelettes and sausages. They did have 2 waffle machines.

Hampton Inn is a lovely place! I accidentally knocked over a high stack of cup lids when I was getting tea in the evening. How embarrassing! The receptionist was so gracious and insisted on picking them up herself!

Great stay. We love using a digital key and checking in/out on the app. No need to talk to people at all! Room 422 (king+sleeper) was almost total black out, save for one bright sliver of light on the side of the window. Bathroom offered an adjustable nightlight if needed. A/C worked really well. Any loudness helped muffle hallway sounds as people walked by from the elevator. Shower head was adjustable. There didn't seem to be an exhaust fan, but no biggie. Breakfast was decent continental...make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, reheated omelets, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit. Nothing special, but no complaints. Compared to the Holiday Inn Express next door, a definite winner!

I checked into the hotel after 11 pm. I chose to do the digital check in on my app which was available but the hotel will not acknowledge the digital key or check in until your physical card is ran and they charge you a deposit that is not mentioned anywhere and the front desk can not tell you if it is refundable. When I got to Sandy, Utah it was snowing outside and below freezing yet the temperature in the room was set to air conditioning at 55 degrees. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lobby was full of teenagers with no adults in sight. Do not stay here if you rely on the digital age and want peace and quiet at night.
