The sandwiches were great. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. The only complain I would have is that the music was extremely loud in the bathroom.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is good! I got a regular turkey sandwich, a cup of mac and cheese, and a drink for $16. The sandwich was very yummy (don’t forget the hot peppers) but I would do a small sandwich next time. They’re pretty dense. I’d also opt for a soup or chips instead of mac and cheese. The mac was fine! Just nothing to write home about. Overall I enjoyed the visit and would be happy to go back again if I was looking for a tasty toasted sub.

Solid lunch stop! Brought my fiancé here when we were visiting salt lake. Potbelly exists where I’m from, but not for him! We loved the service and loved the food. It’s extremely fairly priced. Know that there’s not a whole bunch of options, but everything is customizable and it’s pretty good. Staff was friendly and quick to help up. Overall, a great experience and would recommend to locals and travelers alike.

Pretty sure I've rated this place before. And I'll do it again bc they deserve it. Employees are great, polite, efficient. All Employees I've dealt with there are awesome assets for this store. Ah the food...YUM! I could eat there everyday. So good, so spicy, so fresh. The bread is the perfect bread to me. Crunchy, chewy, soaks up the juices but doesn't go soggy fast. The spicy peppers are so good. Almost too spicy. Excellent balance of flavors and textures, that's why I will return over and over. Favorite sandwich shop!

Ever since I first experienced potbelly’s on the east coast, I’ve loved the taste and quality of their sandwiches and shakes. The Oreo shake and the wreck sandwich are my go tos. If you want a great sandwich or shake, this is a good spot!

I was at Potbelly in Sandy today trying to buy lunch sandwiches for the nurses and medical assistants in our office.….. we waited in line patiently and when we got up to the counter I tried to order & Greg, the purported “owner” as he would later tell us, denied us service and rudely called us “Karen’s” for wanting to order sandwich’s for our staff. He then grabbed multiple bags of chips out of my hand and told us rudely and embarrassingly he would not serve us! I have NEVER been treated this rudely for the mistake of trying to place an order for our staff. He was a hostile angry and vet rude man. Shame on him! If I could give less than zero stars, I would.

Well let me tell you about this place. We went i today at 6:00 pm . Sign says they close at 9:00 pm. They made a us a sandwich and kicked us out said they was understaffed. After we was kicked out we walked over to Starbucks to eat outside because they had clean outside tables. Potbelly’s tables were very dirty. My son found a bolt in his sandwich. We pounded on the doors and they let us back in. Gave us our money back. I will be finding out who owns this restaurant my son chipped his tooth.

As always, potbelly sandwiches are tasty! I'm convinced that the hot peppers have gotten spicier so definitely avoid them if you aren't a spice fan. Our table was really sticky which took away from the experience.

This may be the most depressing sandwich shop in the valley. Walked in to a trio of long faces. Unfriendly customer service. The music speaker in the restroom is loud enough to blow one's eardrums. You get a 'free' sub after purchase when you sign up for 'perks.' They won't let you complete your online/app order for the "free" sub unless you leave a tip. It won't allow you to leave a custom tip either. It makes you leave at least 10%. The Wreck sub had one layer of each type of meat. I asked for flatbread. I got wheat. The sandwich is mostly stale bread. I would avoid this place. Let's all hope this one too closes it's doors soon like the rest of them did. Two thumbs down for this mistake of an eatery.

Been here several times and always good food and service. Only one complaint, you guys need to get some curtains for the windows! The sun was shining right in everyones eyes making it really bright, I felt bad for the employees. Besides that you guys are awesome!

Can I get a minus star. Horrible. $10 sandwiches and my Turkey, swiss avo didn't have Avo or cheese or mustard even after she asked me if I wanted it, the Steak sandwich had nothing on it but steak and cheese. Awful.

Seriously one of the worst sandwiches I’ve ever had. Would take a garbage subway sandwich over this… barely any toppings, and the sandwich was so squished was maybe a half inch tall. Bread tasted like it was microwaved and was super tough. Not even worth the gas it takes to get there if they offered a free sandwich.

I went in today trying to pickup an order for my coworkers and I for lunch, the online ordering was not loading so we decided to go in knowing it would be a wait. The "owner" as he called himself, told us our order would have to wait until everyone else in line had ordered. I understood and stepped to the side, however as more and more people ushered in the longer the wait became. I asked him when I would be able to place my order when I heard a woman with 2 less orders than I, be able to place her order just fine. He then told me he has decided not to "serve a Karen today" and kicked us out. I literally was picking up food for my office and was harassed and embarrassed in front of a store full of people?? I guess I don't know what to do next time I need to order? This mans name was Craig and he is employed at this location. I ask you to please consider looking into this as it was humiliating and uncalled for.. I love this place and the food, I usually have great experiences however today had me crying at my desk at work and I don't think I'll be back.

The food was decent, the customer service not so much. Yesterday (6/21) the food chain offered a BOGO deal through their website/app. I tried ordering for over an hour through both and I kept getting an error message. I decided to stop by the store to see if they could honor the offer after showing them I was unable to place an order. The person in charge said he had been "working all day" and that "he had been receiving offers without any issues". I showed him the app and the website on the checkout page and he could see I was unable to place my order getting the same error message over and over again. He even clicked through on my phone (seeing first hand I was not doing anything wrong and that somehow I still could not check out) and still refused to honor the offer. After multiple failed attempts, I decided to pay full-price and was offered a $2 discount for my order. Somehow, being unable to place an order right in front of them due to a technology issue on the company's end was my fault. I asked for the customer service phone number and they stated they did not have it. Very poor customer service offered by employees at this location. UPDATE I lowered the rating to one star as it has been two weeks since I sent an email to them directly and no one has reached out to me. The day of the incident, I called requesting a call back and still have not heard from them. This further confirms that they do not care about their customers and unsatisfactory experiences.

Potbelly is the most underrated sandwich place! They have good soups too! Greg is the best and the service and quality are always great. They also have the best giardiniera EVER.

There was an absolutely obscene amount of aioli on my sandwich. It dripped gobs of aioli onto the table and floor when I took it out of the wrapper. I honestly feel like I was being messed with. There is no reason to put that much sauce on a sandwich.

Russian roulette on the customer service. Either amazing and friendly staff or people that makes me question why I chose potbelly in the first place. The food is good but expect half of the menu to the “out” when you go there. Bonus: want to feel like you are bothering someone for just existing? Go between 8:30pm-closing for added frustration as the staff looks at you like you are doing something wrong for being there.

We ordered food from Potbelly tonight. We ordered 3 sandwiches. A bowl of chili, a cup of chicken pot pie soup and a 1/2 apple walnut salad. First the bad. They "forgot" our chicken pot pie soup. When I brought it to their attention I was told it was out and then stared at. She didn't ask what else we wanted or offer anything. I asked for a cup of garden vegetable soup. That got shouted over to the other workers and then we got ignored. We waited about 5 minutes and then the same lady asked if we needed anything. I reminded her of our soup, she told me to go wait at the other end of the counter. 15 minutes later still no soup. After another 5 minutes I went back to the counter. I asked for my cup of soup again. It took another 5 minutes to get the soup. We finally got all of our food 45 minutes after it was promised. When we got home we realized they also forgot the onions and horseradish aioli we added to one of the sandwiches. Not a big deal, but a little annoying. The service wasn't great, the workers were busy and didn't seem to take my issue seriously. The first lady just acted like we should leave when they were out of our first soup choice. Now the good. The sandwiches were good. My bread was a little too crispy for me, but that is just a personal preference not an issue. The soup and chili were good. The 1/2 salad was huge and delicious. I'm not sure I would order food to go from this location again. I would however order and eat at the restaurant to give them another try.

Consistently yummy food and the best shakes! Very impressed with my experience here. Glad they have Potbelly in Utah

Interesting company. Their food was garbage, just like their customer service. We called about a group of us getting sick from their sandwiches, and they showed us no sympathy and became defensive instead. You eat garbage, you get treated like garbage, and they toss out your complaints like garbage. I'm not sure if this is what the company was going for, but, if so, they nailed it.

If I could give a rating less than 1 star, I absolutely would. This weekend I had an event and purchased 2 boxes of sandwiches from Potbelly in Sandy Utah. When I went to pick up the cold cut sandwiches, they were both sitting on a hot box and 2 male employees seemed cautious to hand me the boxes even after confirming my name on the receipt. Every single guest who ate a sandwich from my event had extremely bad food poisoning the following night and next day. A total of 17 guests were vomiting, had sweats and chills, diarrhea and other symptoms. Most of the gusts from my event traveled from California and had to push back their flights or drive home due to the illness from the sandwiches. When we reported the incident to Potbelly, we were told that we would hear back the following day but never got a reach out. I had to reach back out to Potbelly myself this morning and was greeted by the general manager who denied a refund and tried to a state that the food poisoning couldn’t have come from them since the first person who got sick was affected relatively shortly after eating. I tried to explain that the sandwiches are the only food item that everyone who got sick shared but each time I tried to talk, the general manager talked over me and denied anything I was saying. Also, food poisoning can take anywhere from an hour to a couple days, there is no specific time range where it will affect a person. The customer service was horrid and triggered an anger response. I will be contacting the health and safety department investigate the issue further.

They openly discussed shorting people on meat because they weren't using the scales, and i know the shorted the kind man in front of us too trying to get dinner for his wife. My nearly $10 dollar turkey sandwich had 2 slices of turkey on it. The sandwich maker just shrugged it off when being called out. This is unacceptable and to openly acknowledge that they weren't doing it right but still giving people their food is atrocious.

Thank you to the staff that handled my order, Jackie and Carlos. The staff was friendly, quick and made my sandwich perfectly. The store was clean and organized. I definitely recommend this location and will come back next time I’m in town.

There was an issue with my order and the team was amazing in resolving it! Their food is always fresh and delicious. Their manager was so kind and nice. He listened to my concerns and fixed them for me!

The broccoli cheese soup was good. My Italian sandwich needed more meat and cheese but the flavor was good.

5 stars for the food. It’s the best toasted sub shop and it’s not close. Everything is good. My typical is A Wreck with Salt & Vin chips, but their shakes are strong as well. I will say that I’m happy that this location has gotten busier because it means for sure they are going anywhere, but customer service has been lacking during the last month or two. Not sure what’s going on, but hopefully they right the ship. Service is slow and everyone just seems unhappy. Hasn’t stopped me though. Ordering through the app works great.

Ordered through grubhub but goodness this was delicious. Bread was freshly made. Glad to actually have a sandwich shop that doesn’t charge $17 for a fresh sandwich. Will be back.

This is very quickly becoming my favorite place. The broccoli cheese soup with the potpie topping is life changing! And the people who run this establishment are also so kind and considerate and very consistent. Even thru DoorDash. Could not give enough praise for this business, happy customer for sure.

Being a potbelly customer for over 2 decades in Chicago, I was glad to see a location near us. However it does not look like there are a lot of locations in this State. I’m sorry Utah but you’re missing out. We stopped by for lunch and I did my usual Veggie Melt on Multigrain w/o Mayo and Mustard. It was an original and it was delicious! I also did a Diet Coke and some Zapp’s Salt and Vin chips to accompany it. It was a clean location and the staff was friendly. I loved seeing the mountains in the background as well! I also love there is a Starbucks next door!

Potbelly makes a great sandwich. I love their bread which has a nice crunch to it. Their milkshakes are worth ordering as well. They put a little cookie around the straw. I really like their pizza sandwich with their special Italian seasoning.

Went to this location as a change from the big name sandwich shops. Got the turkey club and the grilled chicken sandwich both with normal ingredients, nothing crazy . The club was ok, turkey was bland and the bacon was more fat than anything. The grilled chicken was even more bland, no seasoning whatsoever. I tried salt and pepper, then tried a spice rub for chicken etc. That did not give this sandwich any flavor at all. I threw this sandwich out. Long story short, dont waste your time and ill stick with what I know next time at the big name sandwich shops. I drive 11 miles to try this place. Sadly disappointed.

Our staff was refused service by the manager here when they tried to place an order of 13 sandwiches for our office. They were verbally accosted, had chips taken out of their hands, and told to leave. It was such a bizarre and rude customer service experience

  • 4/5 Jake P. 7 years ago on Google
$13 for a soup, sandwich and drink.....it better be good. I got the Italian on wheat (BIG). The sandwich tasted great although it definitely was NOT big (a good name for their BIG might be normal)! I also got a cup of baked potatoe soup, which was also good. They had live music (guitar player/singer). He was pretty good. Overall the food was good, employees were helpful service was quick and the visit was pleasurable with the exception of the price. If you are a big eater (which I am) expect to pay more than you would expect to pay at a sandwich joint.
