Seriously great experience! All the food is hot and fresh (and when our fries weren't up to par the manager brought us fresh on the house.) And with half price appetizers after 9pm, it's so affordable it's hard to beat! I hope they never change! Our favorites are the breadsticks with Alfredo. I went to olive garden earlier this week and seriously, these breadsticks and Alfredo are way better! We also love the chicken quesadilla, beef nachos, and French onion soup (gotta request that they make it crispy on top!) The customer service was great. Our server was so kind and on top of everything. She even remembered our family. Its the little things that keep you coming back and this Applebees is on it! All the servers sang happy birthday to my husband and got way into it! Also brought him a free sundae! Elizabeth provided excellent service. She was quick to take and get our orders to us, she kept an eye on our waters and made sure our drinks were replaced in a timely manner, when we requested assistance she was quick to provide it and when I requested a modification to my order, she was able to fulfill that request. My wife and I think she's the best server we've had at any restaurant in years. She listened, she was funny, and she was efficient. We were able to get right in on a Saturday night as a couple. We did not wait long for our meals and they came hot. I see the bathroom is furnished with hands-free soap dispenser faucet and towel dispenser which I very much prefer. I recommend Applebee's in Layton and would definitely recommend requesting Elizabeth for your server.

I love applebees, I come often. The food is great and the service excellent. My sister and I went lastnight and our waitress was Tommy. She just recently started working their and her service was amazing. She is very attentive and kept our drinks coming and our food arrived quickly. She is also very friendly and knows how to engage with her customers really well.

Great atmosphere and friendly, hard working staff. Each time we've gone, we didn't have to wait and were seated immediately. My favorite dish is the Fiesta Lime Chicken but they have so many tasty dishes to choose from. We go there at least once or twice a month.

Elizabeth and Carlos were amazing. Above and beyond. He redid my niece's chicken and she was super amazing. Nice, prompt, quick, and polite. Just amazing.

We went to applebees Thursday night around 930 pm in Layton. It was a wonderful experience all the way around! They seated us promptly and were very friendly. Our waitress was very prompt , friendly and helpful. I have a hard time making a decision and I asked her suggestions and she was very helpful. I chose the 2 things she suggested and I was extremely pleased. She served us with a great smile and attitude the entire time. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name. I’m bad with names. But she was amazing! I have been a server before and I know it’s difficult. I truly appreciate good service ! Thank you so much. I would love to go back and hopefully see her again.

Took my son and family members for his birthday dinner. Everyone raved about the food. Ruveyda was our server. She was friendly and efficient. She is also very cute and came from Turkey. That's one of my favorite countries to visit. We chatted briefly about Ankara (her home) and Istanbul (where I worked). Brought back fond memories.

Passing through on a long drive home and decided to stop for dinner. Sat in the bar area and was served by Liane. She is wonderful! A beautiful spirit with a wonderful attitude. I would make the drive again just to come dine with Liane!

We came here on a busy Saturday and had an amazing experience! Our server, Elizabeth, was fantastic. She got us all of our food in a timely manner and we had zero complaints. She was great with our two kids - thank you for such a wonderful meal!

Food was great, music was fun and Brett was an absolute blast! We came for food and ended up with an experience the likes of which we never knew we needed. Equal parts helpful and hilarious, the man was just a joy to be around. Food was great. And Ayanna was a champ for getting us a Shark massacre and being a good sport about our public thank you!

The bottomless chips and salsa is awesome. Burgers and fries are pretty good too. Good value.

Tommy was our server and she was AMAZING!! Very personable and attentive. Great personality and super sweet. We absolutely loved her and will be asking for her when we come back. 5+ Stars.

We stopped by here last Saturday. We had no wait to be seated but it took awhile for an employee to notice us and get us seated. We did the 2 for 25$ option. Appetizer- Spinach and Artichoke Dip - pretty good that I forgot to take a picture when it came out to us. I got the chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders in my opinion were kinda dry that I only ate 2 and gave the rest to my boyfriend. My boyfriend got the classic cheeseburger. He said it was delicious and that he would order again. The employees seemed uncaring. I get it was a Saturday but it wasn’t busy when we went. We’ll probably stop here again and give it another try in the future.

The food and service were amazing. After hours on a plane I was so hungry. I had the shrimp and parmesan steak and it was to die for! I can't wait to have it again. Everybody else's food that came to the table looked delicious and all were happy with their choices. All of the staff we encountered were delightful and very welcoming. I would definitely eat here again.

Ruby is a fantastic server, her service and speed is amazing. She took the time to come check on a single person while managing a big table and a couple others, highly recommend her as a server. Food was great!

Applebee’s Grill + Bar in Layton is good. They offer a wide selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts along with a full bar. Chicken Broccoli Alfredo is delicious! We enjoyed our lunch. The food and service was good.

The service was great. Quick efficient and friendly. The food was pretty good too. They were extremely accommodating for food restrictions. And we're willing to do something off menu for my gluten free child. They were also willing to do something off menu for my dessert for my birthday. I will highly recommend the Layton location again.

Very quick service, order was placed and food was received all in under 20 minutes. Appetizers and entree were delicious. We want to include Elizabeth in our review (working around 7:30pm, 22 November 2022). She seemed to apologize for "not being able to serve promptly" but we noticed her working hard between seating tables, taking orders, and working the bar. One of the best post-pandemic restaurant experiences I've had! We took our family of 6. The staff was SO friendly and attentive, and I was shocked at how quickly the food came out. No it's not five star quality food, but our kids liked it and the service was too good to give anything less than 5 stars. Thank you!

The service was great. Your waitresses are kind, patient, helpful, and quick to refill drinks. They deserved a greater tip than we could afford. The food was awful. We barely ate a quarter of it. When my wife and I left, I already felt sick to my stomach, and now I've been stuck in the bathroom for 2 hours. Your waiting staff deserves a better restaurant. I'm never eating here again.

This location is my favourite as I've been dining here for over 2 years. Tonight's service was by far nothing short of excellent and courteous. Our server Holly was very attentive and kind and at the same time was training a new hire named Alyssa who was also kind. Our food was delicious and although my steak was not cooked how I wanted originally, both Holly and the manager Sergio brought back a new steak and waited until I informed them it was now perfect. My father is retired military and we did not disclose this information prior to sitting down and they showed us nothing but respect and attentiveness. My father was pleased so it was a lovely holiday for my family. I am also on a diet and Holly presented options that I would both find enjoyable and that would help maintain my weight. Thank you.

Amazing place. The interior is clean and the service is great. The lemonades are decent. The food is very good, I recommend getting the Classic Chicken Broccoli Alfredo. The pecan blonde desert was very sweet yet it satisfied me. Definitely recommend stopping by.
