I
had
to
have
an
erupted
wisdom
tooth
removed
from
the
bottom
because
it
had
grown
crooked
and
had
already
damaged
its
neighbor.
I
waited
until
the
last
moment
because
I
was
afraid
of
this
operation.
I
was
with
Dr.
Höffner
was
treated,
who
also
carried
out
the
operation.
It
was
my
first
wisdom
tooth
to
be
extracted.
The
information
in
advance
about
the
operation
was
great,
everything
important
and
my
questions
were
explained
precisely
and
understandably.
The
syringe
stung
briefly
(as
usual)
then
waited
5
minutes
until
it
took
effect.
When
I
pulled
it
myself,
I
felt
pressure
on
the
gums
(as
if
you
were
running
a
wooden
stick
along
them),
then
a
little
more
pressure
on
the
tooth,
something
was
sawed
briefly
(sound
like
a
Dremel),
then
pressure
on
the
tooth
again.
My
eyes
were
closed,
the
operating
light
was
too
blinding
anyway.
After
about
4-5
minutes
they
said
"so
he's
out",
then
a
piece
of
root
was
taken
out
of
the
jaw,
the
wound
was
rinsed
and
sewn
up.
The
individual
steps
were
mentioned
to
me
in
passing.
In
total,
the
stay
in
the
treatment
room
lasted
11
minutes.
I
was
really
amazed
and
relieved
at
how
quick
and
uncomplicated
it
was;
every
move
the
surgeon
made
was
perfect.
The
assistant
worked
perfectly,
no
liquid
or
other
tooth
splinters
in
the
mouth.
The
operation
was
completely
painless,
I
kept
waiting
for
a
pain
stimulus,
to
no
avail.
I
was
on
sick
leave
for
a
week
afterwards,
didn't
need
any
painkillers
and
the
wound
didn't
bleed.
Now
3
weeks
later
the
hole
in
the
gum
has
almost
healed,
all
without
any
problems.
I'm
incredibly
excited
and
would
recommend
this
practice
and
my
surgeon
to
everyone.
Thanks
again,
respect
:-)
In
hindsight,
I
could
beat
myself
for
doing
so
(~
5
years)
I
waited
to
have
this
operation
and
thereby
damaged
the
neighboring
tooth.
I
think
tartar
removal
is
worse
than
this
operation.
