For the paint it is a very nice place, you can even get advise in English. For the tap section though, I had to get there 3 times and still don't have the proper piece to fix it. Advise on that section are so bad, both in German and in English, and make us buy the wrong item each single time.

The only complaint, maybe a bit lack of employees..

If you want a home improvement store that has everything, this is the place to go. Good for professionals and DIY people.

I really love these places because it gives you so many new ideas about what you can do with your home. The service is really nice and the people are helpful.

Customer-service is often friendly/curtious, but some members of staff are quite ignorant and arrogant. Customer-advice is qualified. However; heeding feedback from customers, be it by circumstance of inquiry or directly, regarding missing items in their assortment, are being ignored or even treated with a kind of nonchalant astonishment. Also: Hornbach stocks at least one very inferior product [ie. siphon-pipe, chromed metal (I had prefered plastic, if it had been available in the required size)], which might barely last its warranty-period of one year, as the Chrome-coat is ultra-thin, was coated obviously straight onto rusted pipe-surface inside, as rust is shining through - straight out of the box!!! Does anyone hold the position of product-quality-control at Hornbach?

Have most of the tools and the stuff I need for making wooden housing etc for my electronics projects. Prices are also very reasonable. One can get all kinds of screws, washers, nuts and bolts etc of every size in the amounts one needs instead of having to buy whole packs of them.
