Definitely a unique bar if your looking for something different in Drogheda. Dropped in here for one and stayed for several due to the quirky snugs available. Great Guinness and staff.

We loved this place. It's the oldest bar in town and it definitely has a cool feel. Everyone we talked to was very nice.

A legend in Drogheda, beautiful pint of Guinness, very traditional pub. City center. Don't miss it if you're in Drogheda.

Good old style bar in Drogheda. Lovely pint of Guinness aswell. Would be good if they did something about the flies that swarm around the ceiling.

Great old traditional pub, great pint, shocking service bar man more interested in his phone than looking after customers. Worth a visit though

Absolute cracking pub. Unreal Guinness and Heineken is really good too. It is the oldest pub in the town.

Visited on the 28th December 2022 7n the afternoon. My daughter went to the Bar counter to order drinks. After being ignored for 10 minutes by the bar person, she politely requested serving. She was told, and I quote "I'm on my own here. If you don't like it, go somewhere else ". Others came and left without service. NEVER going back there.

Such a classic old Irish bar. Grab a snug and enjoy a perfect pint of Guinness. This place has the kind of character other bars try to recreate but can't get right.

So much crack to be had in this quirky alternative Gem. If you love music and banter this is the place to go. Snugs a plenty if ya Wana do some business or maybe hide away with your new flame. Great little bear garden also. Probably one of the best places for a tasty smythwicks.

It's okay, some parts of the pub are literally falling apart cause it's too old and probably needs repairing. Overall its a good pub, good range of drinks (only 2 cocktails tho) and nice snacks m

I'm sure it has built up a regular clientele. And it definitely has the old cosy feel to it. Staff were just ok . And for what it is a pint of zero Guinness at €5.20 is just to much. Market bar just up the road same pint €5.00 . And probably a nicer pub and friendlier staff. It could be so much better.

There once, day 2 of a lovey stay in Drogheda. Lovely pub/bar. Really enjoyed it. Perfect pint of Guinness. A crisp pints of Carlsberg. That staff were excellent. You judge a pub by its toilets and there we're very clean..

Clean bar plenty of whiskies to try, and the pint of Guinness was smooth and creamy with plenty of locals in juring the week to keep them flowing, plus live music on the Sunday I was there

😠 not nice staff, would not recommend.. Particularly the female staff that was working on the night of 21/05/22, told us initially to 'finish up drinks' and literally 5 minutes after, 'finish up your drinks, you guys are only ones here' (and actually we were not only ones there). After that, a male...
