First we walked in. We thought we were going to the Italian restaurant but we were DEVASTATED to find out we were actually going to the dreaded "Grey Goose". First analysis shown that there wasn't a single goose in sight, let alone a grey one. We waited 20 minutes to order. Then we realised we only. ordering. DRINKS. We ordered drinks, drank them, 15 minutes later we ordered. We waited 25 minutes for the food and then half of it came (no chips for the whole table). The pizzas were cold and the fish was mushier than the mushy peas (which I initially thought was guacamole). The worst was yet to come. An 8 year old at the table ordered chicken wings. When they arrived, more of the sauce got on his face, hands and mask than in his mouth. And the sauce was INSUFFERABLY SPICY. He cried as he ate them, I couldn't even eat one. Wiping his tears from his eyes, I remembered the warning in disguise the waiter had given us. When the child ordered the wings, the waiter called him "brave". We should have known. The pizza had, what I can only describe as, a human organ on it. It was about two inches long and an inch wide, and looked like a lung. During the meal we kept hearing this sound: "Dehh nehh nahh nehh". It was SO. ANNOYING. Meanwhile our friends on the other table still hadn't gotten their food after well over an hour. The staff wore their masks under their noses. The waiter forced us to turn on the lamp beside us which we had turned off. And we asked five times for a jug of water before it came. Finally the chips came to us and the other table got their meal. As an apology for the long wait the waiter offered us free ice-creams, which was a nice gesture, except they were half melted. Other thoughts include: very expensive, felt intimidated by a real-life cowboy at the bar, and covid guidelines were LOOSELY followed. That is all. One star.

A lovely place in the centre of Drogheda to get a drink. I haven’t tried the food in this place however I can testify for the cocktails! Lovely tasting and fresh! Always the go to place to get drinks when I’m in Drogheda and will definitely return.

Decent place with decent food but not really amazing. The menu seems to be combined with that of the Italian pizza place next door, they are almost the same place but not quite? The vibe was hard to figure out… older crowd having dinner and cocktails with loud modern explicit club music playing.

Really nice little pub on the main street in Drogheda. Wonderful food - full size wooden oven cooked pizza and chips for kids 5 euro. That's unbeatable value and very very tasty too. Homemade vegetable soup and brown bread for a fiver too really good. The barman on the day was very friendly and helpful offering us everything we needed and was he who recommended the kids pizza deals. Highly recommended!

Great pub, spotlessly clean, nice staff and serviced by their Italian restaurant next door. Pizzas to die for. Go there!

Firstly I’d like to say the food was lovely, if I were to base the review on the food alone I’d give it 5 stars. But the service was seriously lacking. I was at the Grey Goose about 3 or so weeks ago with a group of friends. The waiter who took our orders was polite and our drinks came shortly thereafter. We waited for our food (2 pizzas, a salad and a wrap &fries) and after 40 minutes asked the waiter how much longer it would be. He checked and told us that the order never got to the kitchen (how does this happen?) and we'll get our food as soon as possible. After another 20 minutes we finally got our food. We were starving and immediately dig in. Everything was fine until one of us decided to use some ketchup from the sachets given to us and all of the sachets were already opened, used and empty. We moved them to the side and were disappointed by the entire visit. After finishing with the food, we waited 15 or so minutes for service to order more drinks but no staff came to our end of the restaurant, we eventually walked up to the bar and ordered drinks from there. We waited at least half an hour for all the plates to be collected from our table after finishing eating. By the time we were ready to leave we waited another 15 minutes for staff to appear to even ask for the bill. Once we got the bill at the table, staff disappeared once again and completely forgot about us wanting to pay for our orders. (Had to do some staring to make eye contact/wave hand in the air) Again the good was good, as were the drinks but the service was lacking quite frankly, it was like we were invisible or forgotten about.

Good food, eclectic decor and relaxing soundtrack, a little cramped at very small tables if you don't book a booth, would eat here again.

Nice pub atmosphere. Food was nice too but slightly expensive I thought. Unfortunately the day I was there I had a seat in a very draughty spot so it was cold each time the door opened. Staff friendly.

Always love coming in to the goose / il forno for a bite to eat with my little boy. It's child friendly and the staff always go above and beyond. The staff are a real credit to the business. Oxana, Jamie , Maeve & Christian are legends !!!

My partner and I both went for a drink on Saturday night. We arrived to the door between 9 and 10. Once we go there we were asked for our I.D’s when handed to security we were asked “what’s this?” We replied “our I.Ds (2 drivers licenses) he then proceeded to question us as if he was a Garda. The pub was 21s and both of us were 23 and dressed respectfully and not intoxicated as this was our first place to grab a drink. The bouncer working was extremely disrespectful towards both of us making us very uncomfortable inside the establishment, shining a torch in both our faces even though our licenses are very clearly pictures of the two of us. Extremely disappointed with this establishment would not recommend this pub to anyone and will most definitely not be returning unfortunately.

I only had pint of Birra Moretti and old fashioned tonight(Saturday ≤10.30pm)...I point the time out as I didn't get the mixologists name. However as a fan of that particular drink,if he can make my favourite drink as brilliantly as he did 😎 then he should be able make whatever you want 😁...hope you enjoy 😁😁

Worst place in Ireland. Fish and Chips tasted old and fishy. Minestrone soup tasted worse than Campbell's canned soup. Would not recommend ordering food here. Bartender gave me a different beer than what was ordered and still charged me for the other beer that was more expensive. Ended up going to Burger Hub which was excellent service and burger.

Particularly the female staff that was working on the night of 21/05/22, told us initially to 'finish up drinks' and literally 5 minutes after, 'finish up your drinks, you guys are only ones here' (and actually we were not only ones there).
