not nice staff, would not recommend.. Particularly the female staff that was working on the night of 21/05/22, told us initially to 'finish up drinks' and literally 5 minutes after, 'finish up your drinks, you guys are only ones here' (and actually we were not only ones there). After that, a male staff came around, twice actually, asking us to finish up our drinks in a very pushy way, and it felt quiet rude and unwelcoming. It is not like we were taking a very long time to finish our drinks, we were actually trying our absolute best to wrap up, just like any other curstomers would. However the staff were very rude, to try get us out of the pub, which we did not appreaciate, especially that we were coming all the way from county Kildare. We will not be coming back to this pub again, very dissappointing.

I used to love this place for drinks and food before lockdown but the recent service has really put me off. Last night I ordered food for delivery. I was told on the phone that because they were so busy, it could take up to 45 minutes for my order to arrive. That’s reasonable. After an hour had past with no delivery I was concerned but let it slide. After an hour and a half had passed I decided I’d ring the restaurant to see what the story was. Maybe they just got more busy. After trying to ring over 15 times and constantly being sent to voicemail I was getting fed up. 2 hours after ordering, my doorbell rings. It was the food. I told the driver that we’d been waiting just over 2 hours when we’d be told 45 minutes max. I received no apology or anything. I was simply met with a “yeah, well we’re busy”. I would be more understanding if the restaurant themselves were understanding about how bad that customer service was. We didn’t accept the food in the end as after the 15th time trying to call the restaurant we just ordered from somewhere else. I can understand busy but you can’t ghost your customers for 2 hours and expect everything to be grand.

Burgers are amazing, and the staff is super friendly. Not the first time there, and definitely not the last. Thanks 👍

Sitting at the front bar. The barman ginger (20 ISH), short hair tonight Fri 29th Dec 2023. Spills a full mixer of double Vodka and red bull over the bar on top my lap. Subsequently water damage to my phone. No apology from the staff. Called him back over, asked him for my bill of 2 beers to be replaced in lieu of dry cleaning, ( not knowing my phone is now broken )was told to bill him, laughing. We left being disrespected... After 20 years of going to Cruizo's and Fusion and friends with Colin Mc Guinness. Place is gone to dogs... Children behind the bar, with 0 manners. Sign of the times. Never again....

Really good bar, love the late drinks and music but Davin is an incrediby rude man who should not be allowed deal with the public

Bar staff was brilliant we came over from the uk we ordered a drink from a lovely young lady called Lauren and she new what we wanted to drink for the rest of the night she was amazing at her job never left us waiting as soon as I approached the the bar she was onit and a very very busy bar great staff and great atmosphere thanks for making our night a good one will definitely be back and 100% recommend

I haven't eaten here but I believe the food is good. It's had to get serves when it's busy but generally it's a nice pub. Good outdoor space

I highly recommend the cross! Amazing food, cool atmosphere and the bar tender Davin was an absolute delight for me and my friends, he made sure we always had a full drink and was full of Craic , he’s an absolute credit to the place the sweetest man ever!!

Quick burger and wings at the bar last night. Great improvement in the quality of food served. Young girl who served me was excellent too.

Great bar! Honestly great staff, Davin is the person that makes sure you have a great night. He always remembers what you are drinking and it makes the experience really special.

Got 2 burgers,chips and 2 pints for €25 on a Sunday deal and the food was great, added a small nachos as well. Then had a couple of cocktails and it all came to under €50. Will 100% be back, staff were great as well.

We really enjoyed our visit to The Cross. It was recommended by a friend. They have very friendly staff who checked up on us regularly. We shared the trash can nachos, it was amazing and super filling. Will definitely recommend!!

In most busy bars you have to struggle to make eye contact with the bar staff. Here they make eye contact with you. Huge change from this time last year, proper bar staff now. 6 stars if I could 🌞🌞🌞🌞 🌞 🌞
