Great place to have a pint and watch a match. I recommend asking for a Guinness, they know how to pour a delicious one.

Quiet when I was there but the barman was a lovely man. Informed about the area but not gossipy. Checked out the outdoor area and ladies toilets,and found them to be exemplary. A fabulous range of Taps and the few who where there complimented me on being the only female *who was brave enough to being on my own* . The Decor was what I'd expect from an old era. Pint of Guinness delicious cream@ 5 euro. Couldn't find fault with this one. Well worth a visit, if your ever in this neck of the woods

Called in for a Guinness after waking the Boyne Valley Camino, great bar, plenty of atmosphere and the barman looked after us well, would recommend! 👍

I had a beer in this Pub in June 2019 whilst a visitor from Australia, with my Son. It was a short visit but very memorable. A great place and next visit, will be for a meal! Go Gleesons! Cheers from Aussie!

Excellent staff , lovely oldie pub style atmosphere, with a good age balance and beautiful beer garden. For those that like a flutter on the horses, screens galore and a wall of monitors outside in the beer garden with all the info you would require ,and I am sure the regulars would only be too happy to pass on any tips. Premises is well kept and toilets are clean and well checked throughout the day . Regular live entertainment at weekends, inside and outside ( weather permitted).
