We drove from Dublin to have lunch here, and it was completely worth it. The food is excellent here and so is the selection of the menu. I like the food fusion places a little bit more than the authentic one. It shows creativity, and this place is awesomely doing this. The chicken parmesan was so yummy. The chicken was moist, tender and was so delicious. We had pasta as well. The Alfredo pasta was delicious and there was another item on the menu with rice and garlic sauce and I must say that it is definitely worth trying whenever you are visiting this place. I would definitely recommend a place for anybody who is visiting this area

Lovely place! Really enjoyed my friends birthday dinner. Staff and management were super friendly and accommodating. Obliged to our special request without problem which made the night much more special! Food choice was immense, lots for everyone. Mixed grill, calzone and chicken Alfredo was unreal. I loved my affogato and the tiramisu! Definitely coming back sometime soon!

One of the best restaurants! The marinated lemon and garlic chicken breast was cooked to perfection! I was a bit hesitant as chicken breast can be so dry but it couldn’t have been cooked better! Starter was delicious too and the chips, and pizza. We truly enjoyed all of the food and will definitely be back! Very welcoming staff and quick service

The service wasn't great. Some of us only had main course but any that had starters had to wait for a considerable amount of time b4 asking for cutlery. All side dishes of chips didn't get brought out till everyone was half way through their mains. And this was the same for others that ate at other tables. No coffee available & I wasn't able to have a glass of chardonnay wine only sold by the bottle of €24. Was not impressed

I wouldn’t consider this an Italian restaurant, staff are lovely and vibe is okay but the food could be so much better - EXTREMELY overpriced for such food quality.. Pizza: toppings were UNDER the cheese, on the other hand, my friend ordered a margarita pizza and it looked like it was cut by a 4 year old, random cuts through the slices even, had to send it back because that is not how you serve. I will definitely not be coming back here and this is coming from someone who went twice in one week for other events.

I had a very enjoyable experience while dining at Casanova in Drogheda. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and efficient The calamari that I chose for starters was tender. For the mains, I chose the Casanova Chicken which I thoroughly enjoyed. Pizza seemed to be very popular. Wine and some beers available. Overall, well worth a visit with family or friends.

I was in Casanova with my family who came Mauritius and not to say the food was spectacular and so was the service (eadaion) she was a great help, sorry if I spelt the waitress name wrong, but I heard of this fantastic restaurant from a friend of mine Bonnie, we will definitely be back again and will spread the word of Casanova

Food fabulous. Baz and his team are so jolly and chatty and fun. Portions were plentiful and delicious. Quite busy restaurant but plenty of attentive waiting staff. Bonus is you can bring your own wine, beers etc. If your visiting Drogheda anytime, I'd Highley Recommend a visit to Casanova for a wonderful dining experience.

Lovely ambiance. Fantastic selection of Italian foods. Generous portions and excellent service. Staff could not have been any more helpful or attentive. Will definitely be coming back the next time I'm dining in Drogheda.

BYOB, attentive, friendly, speedy service, and really tasty food. The place itself looks a bit run down from outside, and the food tastes way better than it looks. Good value for money with an Italian/Mediterranean menu. Def plan on coming back

Very pleasant spot, you can truly taste the team work, fast service even with a full restaurant and they also do deliveries so that's amazing, the food is well made and very tasty, I'd definitely recommend.

I was in Drogheda with my six year old who wanted 'sausage and chips'. Not being near any of the usual spots we'd go to for that I pulled out Google Maps and searched for restaurants in desperation. Seeing that there was an Italian not too far from where we were, I convinced her to go for pizza (not a hard task). We arrived at the restaurant and the waitresses were just lovely, with one young lady in particular being a standout. They were attentive, chatty and efficient. They made us feel welcome and were smiling all the time, my little lady felt very at ease. The food was great, the price fair and the service excellent. We'll absolutely head there again.

Had lunch here. The food was great. Delicious and fresh, no complaints here. We had a calzone and an arrabbiata pasta. The pasta sauce was incredibly delicious, the calzone dough soft and fluffy. The service felt a bit of a let down though. It wasn't bad, it was just lacking. We had our order taken quickly enough and received our food in an acceptable timeframe, but things got slow after our meal. Even though we were only one of three tables on that quiet lunch, we were kept waiting for our finished plates to be taken away, and when they were, we were not offered a dessert menu. We ordered two coffees as the waitress was walking away with our empty plates. That was a bit of an oversight. Just like the food though, the coffee there is wonderful. Would recommend Casanova for the food alone, and I would definitely return to try other dishes.

Had a very middling experience here, had a group booking, took ages to take a drinks order and then there seemed to be a huge drama about how many glasses we needed and who was drinking what. (just have the glasses on the table). Food order was taken, everything was fine, service was OK, and then we never saw the staff for the rest of the meal. We had to keep trying to get someone's attention, no tea, coffee, dessert offered until we had to ask again, plates sat on the table for a good 30/40 mins before being cleared. Had to go back to the counter again to get the bill, and again to pay... Would encourage the staff to work the floor, walk around, check in on tables, set all tables with glass wear and just generally keep an eye on the tables out of sight.

On a visit to Ireland, I was taken here by my brother and his wife, lovely food, can also take your own drink. Good service and not a bad price. Well worth a visit 👍🏻

The restaurant is amazing and the decoration is lovely. The food is amazing, and the attention is even better. We went in today, and the owner allowed my little baby to make his own pizza. Really nice experience and memories for the family!

We ordered on Uber eats and happily spent 100 euro on the best Italian restaurant in drogheda, food was delivered very fast. Staff very nice and friendly and efficient and the food was delicious.Lovely atmosphere and prices very reasonable. Will definitely be booking again.

Went for dinner and I thought the food was very nice. Only bad thing is that they don't have a wide range of drinks but besides that, menu was big enough and good service.

The food here in very very good. The service is fast and friendly, and the prices for their early bird deals are absolutely brilliant. Drogheda has some amazing restaurants, and I’d put this in the top 5 easily

This place should be on Everyone's list. I attended a private event here last night. AMAZING FOOD = Out of this world Staff = Professional and extremely pleasant to deal with. White wine is awesome too. The owner,staff and management are beyond description allowed on here. If you like beautiful food with exquisite taste, you have to have this place on the list of your regular places to go.

Good food, my chicken parmigiana was very good, on the more pricey side, the staff was really nice, portions were a little bigger and I took most home, the woman packed thr food for me

We ordered 3 meals and one appetizer , the food was average, fast food quality, fried in an old oil and we were misled to believe that 3 courses will cost €32 +€8.50 appetizer whereas we were charged over €70. Do not recommend.

Casanova is a lovely place to eat. The food is always top class, high quality, well presented and tasty. The staff are helpful, friendly, courteous and know the menu. What I really enjoy about Casanova is that while it is an excellent family restaurant, it also has that quality that allows couples and parties to visit also.

Excellent service and good food standard is higher than most resturants

7 euro for delivery?? I hope the driver gets all of that!?!? I'd pay €2 or €3 for delivery, no problem, and still tip the driver end up paying 7 anyway but 7 euro for delivery is ridiculous?? Can casanova confirm the driver gets the whole delivery charge, otherwise, what are you charging for exactly??

Never again will we step foot in this restaurant. A menu with no prices should’ve been our first alarm. The food was just ok for a completely overpriced bill!! I asked to speak to a manager but there was none available 👎🏻
