Had lunch with our family to celebrate my sister in law birthday. Food was delicious. Had a stroll around the shop, filled with beautiful things. Finishing up making a few purchases in the farmshop.

A fantastic farm shop & gift shop with a butchers & coffee shop/restaurant under the one roof. A superb selection of homegrown veg, fruit, dried goods, flowers, plants & locally sourced produce. Not to mention the glorious gift shop filled with Irish made candles, homewares, accessories, books & kids toys. Helpful, pleasant & knowledgeable staff too.

Had Lunch here this week. The most delicious food, unbelievable portions, great value for money. I had a chia coffee, followed by goats cheese on sour dough bread with a mug of amazing curried carrot soup. I struggled to finish it. My husband had a huge open prawn sandwich served on brown treacle type bread & the mug of soup. The staff were very friendly, and were very efficient with their service. So good we will be returning again.

Visited a week or so ago after a lovely walk on the beach at Seapoint. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. Got some mango cheesecake to take away and it was beautiful too. The shop has a lot of nice gift items and homewares stocked. Plenty of parking available.

I love love the milk refill station with different flavours, reusable bottle, not homogenised its fantastic, bread in farm shop and food in restaurant is delicious- but.. you can't order soft drink without plastic and veg and fruit - many of them packed in plastic ... its a shame, otherwise would be wonderful

My and my best friend was on breakfast date on monday morning around 10.20 .We came just on time because around 11 it got so busy there was no table to sit. It's a very cozy place and nice staff. The food was amazing. I got pancages and she got half irish breakfast and on top we got 2 pots of tea. We paid 23 euros for both of us so I would say its a very good price. We are coming back for sure.

Had a lovely lunch here. Loads of food on the plate & was given a box to bring what we didn't eat home. 3 of us ate here & we all thought it was worth every penny. Everyone should try it out if your on that neck of the woods. Also there is a lovely shop attached to the restaurant.

Very pricey now. Nice spot nice brekkie but no value for money. Full Irish 14 euro and extra 3.50 for a flat whit so total 17.50 for brekkie so total for me a 9 and 3 year old 34.10 ouch. Best breakfast around is Greenmount House picture below , 12 euro including the flat white. Sorry guys for a village café your charging Dublin price's.

If you are in the Termonfeckin area, you have to go to Forge Field! The coffee shop has a very cosy atmosphere and serves delicious food. My favorite item on the menu is the eggs royale. The farm shop is great as well and they even have a fresh milk vending machine on site.

Chicken gujons wrap with the home made coleslaw is highly recommended. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Butchers, country farm shop and home ware on offer. Will definitely be returning soon.

Nice place if you don't mind being removed from the table of your choice to a noisy part of the room, and then being asked to leave because 'lunchtime reservations are starting'. I.E. lingering over a coffee and scone is not encouraged and a quiet conversation is not possible; the kinds of things that make a café attractive.

I like this place though I don't often get the opportunity to go. Plenty to see but the shop, apart from the Christmas section was very 'scattered' and low in certain products. There is though something for everyone. The staff and the food in the Coffee Shop are very good, very friendly. We'll worth a visit.

Place was immaculate, staff were lovely, didn't enjoy the food though, there was icing sugar on the French toast and the eggs benedict was on a toasted scone which was very dry, I've heard good reports from others but not to my taste

Gorgeous place for lunch. I had a tuna melt. It was to die for! Other members of my party had chicken wraps and burgers. All of the food was good quality. The service was quick enough considering the size of our party (9 people). Staff are extremely friendly.

Great veggie soups and nice outdoor space (4/5 Green Stars) Forge Field has become a regular spot for lunch when in the area and it’s always a pretty good experience. The soup is always vegetarian, by the way, and really constitutes and entire meal with you eat it with the bread. The soups often pair a (very sustainable) root vegetable with a spice or herb, for example carrot and cumin or the excellent parsnip and thyme. The goat cheese sandwich is also highly recommended. Tarragon mushrooms on toast are a staple for mum – it’s the one item from the breakfast menu that’s available all day. I’m giving Forge Field 4 out of 5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, for these reasons: • Family-run business that makes its own bread, bakery items, etc. • Reasonably good selection of vegetarian options. Could have more on the vegan front but they will accommodate vegans with off-menu items, if desired. • Good supporter of local ingredients and businesses. • If you look to the left side of the parking lot, you’ll see a new milk dispensing machine from Feckin Clogher Milk. You can purchase bottles and then come back and refill them over and over.
