The WORST chipper I’ve ever had, southern fried chicken was dry, hard and tasteless. Chips were freezing and garlic chips were roughly half a portion, the tray was only half full, if even! Do not order from here we’ve tried three times now and it’s been a disaster every time. If I could give this place no stars I would!

The food was excellent! Very enjoyable....

The fish and chips it's soaked in oil,before it was good but now I don't know what it's going on,but the oil smells bad like lam and the bater on the fish you can not call it batter

When order arrived it's was not very warm the standard not good and not very tasteful.. not worth the money. The lasagna was squashed at the bottom of the bag and when I called i found the girl rude and un sympathetic.. Had to cook food at home after the delivery defeating the purpose

Just got takeaway and it’s terrible to say the least. Burnt, cold chips and hamburger with everything on when we wanted a batter burger. Overcooked frozen scampi. Too focused on their phone orders and too busy yawning. Not the first bad experience. My last time here.

Very overpriced for tiny portions. 3 euro for bag of chips with about a handful in the bag. Other chippers cheaper and get much more chips. Tried it thinking it looks nice but never again. Overpriced and horrible portions. Trying to hard to be a luxury chipper whilst charging loads and giving nothing in return. Don’t get what you pay for. €2 for a garlic sauce with about a tablespoon full of sauce in it. Would give 0 stars if I could

Got the simplest of orders wrong. How do you mess up a snack box? Staff couldn't have been bothered, like the customer is only an inconvenience. They also think people will wait up all night for a replacement meal after waiting an hour for delivery already. Refunded the price of the item, no gesture for the error on their part. I'll now be deleting the Macari Xtra app, won't be back and judging by other reviews I'm not alone. I highly recommend giving this one a miss and looking elsewhere in Drogheda.

Hi I repeated my order three times in the chipper and the girl still got the order wrong. I hope it’s not poor attitude but to ask three times and still mess up the order is ridiculous. The food is very good though

First class fresh fish 🐠 and chips. The staff are very friendly and efficient. They took great care to deal with my daughter's vegetarian order in a separate area by a separate member of staff. Her food 🥝 has also always been first class.

Got the snack box ( 2 breast ) found the chicken very dry. The few chips I had were ok. I remember the precursor to this establishment you’d always get a shovel of chips in the bag to.

Worst experience I’ve had with a fast food experience. Chicken in snack box very dry. Curry sauce tasted like it was diluted with water. Very disappointed.

I order a portion of chips and a portion of scampi they were perfectly cooked not one bit greasy or dry the only thing I didn't like was very little salt on chips and a bit too much on scampi but other then that they were perfect the staff were great for me because I am in a wheelchair I couldn't obviously get into the store so they came out to me which I found great not many people would do that 😀

Chips must have been sitting awhile as they were cold....burger was nice

Ordered family box from online menu at 19.90 got here was charged 27.90 , was told that's the price difference from online and phoning in an order 🤷‍♂️, chips were OK bit soggy chicken wasn't great sauces are just brown water , there's much better chippers than this place in the town

Nearly 2 hours for delivery, 50 mins late on delivery time. Rang twice and apparently they've no drivers. Staff wasn't too bothered at all. Pizza was soggy, chips were soggy greasy and half cooked. Snack box was awful, completely tasteless. Also forgot sauces.

€65 order .. Will never be ordering from this place again. 1hr 45 mins late .And when i rang up they offered an new order . Than they rang back 20mins later. Food still had not left.. To look for the cold food back . Going on like im trying to rob them .absolutely shocked with the service . No manager there to speak to . 1 star is to many

Bought a chicken fillet burger MEAL with onion rings and a garlic dip. A straight forward order I would have said, food came earlier than expected but upon opening the chips were missing. I am not one for complaining but it was obvious the bag was not checked prior to delivery. Really disappointed ☹️

Didn’t get sos with fish and chips and definitely fish it’s not fresh. Worst fish and chips ever get.

Got chicken and chips here recently, the chicken was simply disgusting, dry and hard, must of been under heat lamp for hours.

Was a late call to macari not a big order 2 bags of chips well a bit disappointed a bag of chips I'd say half a bag in each half old chips half out of the fryer fresh but unfortunately under cooked won't be back sorry to say

Honest generous company that looked after me verty well when a small issue arose. Absolutely Recommend them and the staff are lovely and friendly
