No swimming area in water park, as they are calling themselves. Very small and tiny are for so many people, it was no time slot or other limitations for people. It was too crowded and no air conditioning but windows were opened and now my kid coughing. Decorations are perfect and theme is amazing but all idea hasn’t been developed. I would never go back for water activities there and wouldn’t recommend it to my friends. Entertainment centre looks interesting and I may check it later on. But after reading all honest reviews I am doubt about going there. Also I have been trying to deal with management team and no success on time, only after if you are pushing them. I received an email voucher and they denied it too, they offered 10 % discount but you can’t use it as you are discovering that it is for rides only. Very very disappointed and overpriced!

From the outside need some maintenance, bit of paint would go a long way. Inside is great. Plenty of staff on hand to help. Bowling was brilliant. No need to save up coins to go here just buy a card and top up as you go . Plenty to do. Something for all ages. Going to water park part tomorrow.

We had a wonderful experience in Funtasia Drogheda today. My children absolutely loved it. We came from the west of Ireland and it was well worth the drive. The girls in reception have fantastic customer service skills. So does the girl that prints the photos from the slides. The lifeguards were top notch also especially when they saw my blue wristband. I’m sorry that I have to give 4 stars and not 5 because the water park side was second to none but the fast food restaurant was filthy. There was no queue and the few people that were in the restaurant had been served but there wasn’t one clean table in the place and no one trying to clear tables which was a disappointment at the end of a great day. Myself and the children went elsewhere to eat. I made wonderful memories with my children today and I would recommend anyone to go to Funtasia.

The staff could be a bit nicer to customers. The hight restriction is not fair as it left my 9yr old excluded from the play. I thought that this all was about well being of our children. And here he is not allowed to come in and play because he is too tall😔 disgraceful

As a family of 5, we stopped in here on the way home from Emerald Park. We arrived early and it was quiet enough that we got the chance to go round all of the slides without having to queue too long. However by 11.30 -12pm it was so busy you had to wait to even queue. Staff weren't great at controlling rough play or queue jumping. There's 1 jacuzzi that's adults only, but it was packed throughout. Other than slides, there's nothing else to do, an actual pool would be a great addition. There was something small upstairs, but it was closed. There's also VR diving, however its an additional €5pp on an already pricey visit so we gave it a miss. The bowling was fun but very dated and really needs a little investment. My youngest is 9 and the majority of rides and activities were too young for him. We bought a family ticket al9ng side a single entry and it was a chore to try and use the rides included. They ended up doing bumper cars 4 times as the tickets couldn't be carried over to another day. Overall we are glad to have visited as its been on our list for a while, but we are glad we didn't come down specifically for it and and considering the cost and overall experience, we probably wouldn't visit again.

Great place for kids and adults alike. Plenty of rides. Water theme park is even fabulous Everywhere you can see very helpful staff. Swings, slides, rides, bowling, sky walk, everything is present. We took a loyalty card and once finished we accumulated some epoints with which kids got some free goddies too.

Was there for a school tour, they let loved the pool but slush puppy machines were there and not turned on or no ice cream, the vending machines not working. Very disappointing for the children. There was a big menu and then the teachers went to order all there was on offer sausage and chips or goujons and chips. No mayonnaise or napkins.

The waterpark was good fun but was very disappointed to see that they have not repaired broken equipment over the two years it was closed. Had to close the kids corner due to flooring lifting and many other features just taped up and not well maintained, jacuzzi closed off aswell. Staff poorly trained in pool area. The fast food restaurant mint was the worst I've seen. Over 45 minutes to get the food and had to repeat our order 5 times. Not a uniform hat or hairnet in sight, all girls with long hair over the food. So much food on the floor in the cooking area. The girls working in mint restaurant trying their best but very very badly managed. I would bring my own food if I were to go back and try to hit the waterpark early in the morning or later in the afternoon..busy from 12 to 3..

Poor, poor, poor. Had to book on line for today and we were told there are no slots. We just had to turn up.... But when we got here it was like Dublin Airport. Wall to wall with at least a 45 minute queue for the water park. No refunds for the water park either. Absolute rip off. Management should be ashamed taking advantage of parents and children like this.

Clean place, water park is amazing and friendly staff. Kids will enjoy at the fullest. 1 star less for no proper directions for what is included in the family package. We need to go around and try everything to find out if any rides or activities included.

I drove here 140 km I do not recommend this place. It is very small. Half of the attractions are broken. Missing tiles in the floor which looks bad , also not safe for kids as can trip over. Entry is overpriced. Paid over €50 for 2 adults and a child.

kids were looking forward to a day in funtasia all week. so went to funtasia this morning full of excitement but never ever again will we step foot in the place. went up to the desk to pay for a family of 4 for swimming and staff member said the pool is closed for renovation work to be carried out until June 25th. i checked the website the night before to make sure it was opened before travelling an hour and half only to be disappointed. there was nothing on website or facebook to let people know pool was closed. then we went over to the children climbing frames in the play center and staff member said my 10 year old daughter is too tall so wouldn't allow her in and my son didn't want to go in without his sister. Next we paid for bowling only to be given a lane that wasn't working so the fella moved us to a new lane that kept on jamming all the while our time was been lost on the timer. decided to put kids on bumping cars that cost 2.50 euro per child. you card only pay for rides by purchasing a theme park card. went to buy a card from machine with 5 euro credit to pay two kids on bumping cars but machine didn't give me out card or receipt but surely took the money from my debit card. i told the staff member about this and he said it happens all the time. he went to a different machine to get me the theme park card and he wanted to see proof on my bank account that i really did pay 5 euro to purchase card. he showed me a balance of 4 euro before he handed me the new card and he said the i need to top card up again with another 1 euro because the card cost 1 euro to buy. then we go downstairs to order food from the cafe only to be greeted by very rude staff. the girl took our food order which took 45 minutes to come to our table. staff in the cafe have no hair nets, hats or gloves. food absolutely terrible. raw chips and found hairs in food. my advice is if you want an enjoyable day out with your children go to Dublin zoo or Clara Lara. complete and utter money racket and disappointing day with for the kids. i really should have heeded the other reviews.

Didn't buy tickets in advance, just turned up around 10:30 on Wednesday during the school holidays. Kids really enjoyed it, 14 & 10. Spent about 50 euro on the arcade, skywalk and pool tables. Great way to spend a few hours, we didn't visit the swimming pool but will come prepared for that next time. Was empty when we arrived but filling up when we left around 2pm. Easy to locate, car parking can be limited.

You'd easily burn 100 euro in here in just an hour or two, but it's great fun for the kids. It's the nicest place of its kind I've ever been to in Ireland.

A fantastic indoor entertainment facility for kids of nearly all ages. A huge pool with a massive range of fun stuff, from baby slides and fountains, to huge multi water slides for older kids and adults. An arcade, indoor fairground rides (you heard that right!), a train that drives around a track upstairs, bowling alleys, and multiple video games. Then, there's the activities!!! Zip lining across the roof, vertical drop onto a slide, and a sky walk, guaranteed to rattle even the bravest of souls! Book tickets online or on arrival. Always busy, but there is plenty of room for everyone. A diner and an ice-cream parlour to keep the energy levels up. Put it on your to-do list, and if you are ever up the East Coast, it's definitely worth a daytrip. Allow almost a full day. You'll need it!

I used to love this place as a kid. Now it's gone downhill. They are way too overpriced and put even more arcade games which is something we DON'T need. What kids want is more rides, upgraded jungle zones and swimming areas, not cash grabbing machines with low possibilities of winning. Such a shame.

Great park. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the slides are great. Can only give two stars though as it’s absolutely FREEZING. I brought my 3 year old and he was shaking as were a lot of other kids. If they upped the temperature of the water a few degrees I’d be there every weekend.

We played crazy golf, there were two adults and 3 kids. There was nowhere to leave your belongings while playing the game and no directions to where the crazy golf was, until we walked around the whole floor and found it. Upstairs, it's was extremely warm, very very noisy and overwhelming if you have sensory issues and autism like my son does. He was getting frustrated with all the background noise, we couldn't stop to have food as it was just too noisy for him and all the tables in the cafe hadn't been wiped down. So we left and went elsewhere for food. We may try bowling next time considering it might not be as noisy and could be cooler at the front of the building. The staff were friendly enough at the desks and the place was clean and tidy, apart from the cafe. But it was a very very busy Saturday and I'm sure there were many parties booked for the end of mid term break.

Traumatic slides, not safe. I had big trauma of hand, and a girl from our company as well. After a ride, her hand was covered with blood, she needed to go to the hospital and stitch the wound. Also I saw a little boy whose foot was bleeding. There are a lot of stairs in the water, but they are extremely slippery. Kids who are always in a hurry fall there all the time!!! Stairs in the pool are hard to see. No opportunity to drink coffee or tea in aqua zone. Food for birthday party could be better. Very expensive photos!

We brought the kids today for their birthdays.. we arrived at 10.. we had loads to do as we purchased the family pass.. which includes the pool.. 2 activities and 3 arcade activities each.. the kids had a ball.. all the staff were lovely... The only thing that could be improved is the cafe.. it had only opened and the floor was sticky with spilled drinks.. the menus on the counter have seen better days nd are not aimed towards kids! Its overall just uninviting and 2 open.. you can see everything they are doing back there.. Management need to update it badly! It's pretty rough the cafe staff were more than helpfull though.. Overall it was an ok day but we only spent an hr in the pool because everyone was cold

Went here with 10, 8 & 4 year old. So much fun, I would highly recommend. Went on a Wednesday and it was busy but the queues for the rides etc were not bad at all. Longest queue was about 10-15 minutes for one of the main rides. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back midweek again, kids can't wait!

What a day out for the family. So much to do and see. We had the best day out. My 2 boys are 9 and 5 , they were like kids in a sweet shop. Spent a fortune 😂 but who cares. A definite must for anyone who hasn't been. Can't wait to go back.

Great day out lots of fun. Plenty to do for all ages. I really like the way you get a top up card to use on all the activities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We didn't try the water park but it looks like a lot of fun. So next time we'll go there. Over all a very enjoyable few hours here.

Huge place with wide variety of gaming options for all ages from bowling, pool table, dodge cars, mini golf to mini train for little ones and lots of video game options. Can easily keep the full family occupied for hours. Nice and polite staff and good food options.

Second time to visit. Really like this place. Lots to do for the kids. Went on the sky walk with my 8 year old. She really enjoyed it but got a bit frightened so cut it short. I wasn’t the better after it 🫠 The staff were really helpful to my daughter. The zip line was really cool! Will have to try the water slides next time! Recommend this place for a family day out.

Super time, great time for the kids, plenty of stuff for the kids to enjoy. Got there around 11 ish had to wait a bit to get in. Once in plenty of changing rooms available. Once we got in kids had a ball. The ques for the larger rides moved fast enough considering how busy it was. Plenty of life guards dashed around the whole place. Didn't see one unhappy face leaving just exhausted kids but very happy though. Job done good work lads and ladies

Really nice experience, so much variety in what you can do here. We had a great time in the indoor waterpark, and many other activities like skyclimbing, ziplines, arcade machines and more. Super fun family experience, it will make great memories for everyone participating.

  • 4/5 Megan D. 6 months ago on Google
Our kids love the arcade, although many machines are out of order, but take the credits anyway. The employees are quite nice and refund the credit right away if you ask. It's just a pain to go back and forth and for the kids to be very excited for a game only for it to be out of order. The indoor water park is great, kids absolutely love it. We did the bowling, not much organisation with the balls and weights they're kinda all over the place. Clean enough, nothing too fancy. Indoor soft play is nice as well, but if there are any kids with noise sensitivities, I'd avoid. I believe they have a quiet hour, but I'd ring in to make sure.
