It's okay. It's a but over flamboyant and doesn't pull it off. Not sure what these is what in any part. The rooms are good. Nice and quiet for a town centre. Safe and secure. Price is good also. But can be on the expensive side for what it really is, which is just a better dressed run of the mill hotel.

The check in process was kinda long. They asked many questions. I saw from previous reviews that there were car break-ins so I brought all my belongings with me. I parked my car in the front part of their garage and had no issues. The hotel does not have a lift (I knew this in advance) and I was assigned a room on the 2nd floor. A staff member saw I was struggling going up the stairs with my belongings that he stopped what he was doing to help me. THANK YOU! The room is not air conditioned (I knew this in advance) so it smelled stale and was warm upon arrival. The windows do not open wide. I’ve been traveling in the UK and Ireland for a few months so I brought my own oscillating fan. The room and bathroom were large and clean. They supplied an abundance of towels. I can see how people would say the rooms are dated. To me it had a bit of 1980s decor but still clean and well maintained. There is a restaurant and bar attached to the hotel and a pub across the street. Also a post office next door and a large Tesco one block away. Great location! I haven’t stayed in a room, so I don’t comment. We are interested in food. We ate steak and fried noodles. I didn’t order dessert. It tastes good. The restaurant’s food is always better than the one at home. It may have to do with the heat and the chef’s The secret recipe has a lot to do with it. It is worth trying when you go to eat to fill up the atmosphere. The service quality of the restaurant is high and very good. It is worthy of attention. If the quality of the accommodation environment and food is the same as that of most competitors, then only the quality of service is the only thing that will make more repeat customers

Heater seldom function. So damn cold. Lovely reception gave me the plug in heater but in the morning when i left the room, they took it away. Random alarm beeping at 2-3 freaking am. Super loud and annoying! Thin ceiling-i can hear people walking and having parties. Very uncomfortable. Room is okay. Clogged sink. No lift. Wouldnt recommend

Great little hotel lovely staff and a great town. Lots to do. Droghedoians are lovely and accent is beautiful. The town has great architecture and a saints head in a church what's not to like and coffee shops to beat the ban also retail parks to suit everyone all close to this amazing hotel.

After a long silence, the restaurant here has opened again under the guise of Nellys. The format is a mixture of bar and restaurant. The menu is very comprehensive and might I say, adventurous. It is not the usual run of the mill affair, so we were pleasantly surprised by the dishes on offer. The service was excellent and we wanted for nothing. What was remarkable was the friendliness of the staff (something notably lacking in many other locations). Likewise, the food was excellent and prices very reasonable. This is definitely on the return agenda. Keep up the good work folks.

A great hotel with wonderfully helpful staff throughout. A lovely room that sleeps four with an ensuite and facing over the main street. Literally 2 minutes walk from the Chapel where St Oliver Plunketts' head is held. The food and was superb! The only issue we noted was the absence of an elevator.

I was at your restaurant today along with my father and my son and found the service was awful. So bad we had to leave without eating. We ordered from the menu and were left waiting for the best part of 30 mins without anyone coming near us. I called a waitress and asked how much longer the food would take and was left waiting a further 10 mins without a response. In the end we just got up and left. I wouldn't mind but I quite enjoyed the food there recently and I was looking forward to it today but that episode has left a sour taste in my mouth. No excuses as there was management on the floor as well and everyone chose to ignore what was going on . Shame.

The hotel itself is alright: clean, the pub is great, staff is friendly and the decoration is cool. Unfortuntaley, the car park is not safe. Our car (plus 5 others) was broken into, so we were woken in the middle of night and spoke to the Guarda (police). Had to wait in the morning for the crime scene to be done with... at check out I would have expected a little something from the hotel. But no:no breakfast, no discount.... didn't even comp the 2 drinks we had the night before in the bar... quite disappointing

Went here for my boyfriend's debs and was absolutely fabulous! Lovely drinks reception in the bar with complimentary cocktails. Dinner was buffet-style but there were a good few options, including a very tasty vegan option! Drinks are cheap enough if you go for the set deals, or pints. Bathrooms are spotless and really elegant. Loved the adjoining nightclub as well! Great experience and really lovely staff!

Very comfortable room with excellent room service. My wife loves the shower! Great food, especially breakfasts. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The new downstairs toilets are palatial. Looking forward to tonight's music session. Highly recommended all round.

We thoroughly LOVED our stay here. The location is exceptional and the staff was fantastic. They were very accommodating. The room was nicely sized and the bathroom spacious as well. The bar was quite lively and we actually found ourselves in an Irish Wake.... resulting in something of an extended family in Drogheda. Great experience and I'll definitely be back.
