Check in was easy. Staff let us check in early which was very helpful. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. The reason for only 4 start is that the breakfast was a it disappointing. No beans, no fried eggs. Sausages, bacon and pudding was a bit dry. Coffee was good and there was a good selection of Pastries. The Cheeses and cold meats were individually wrapped which made a lot of sense. Would definitely be back.

Very good staff the girl at the front desk was very nice the first day we came in. It's very handy when going to tayto park. The room I was given was beautiful the bathroom was very clean and the beds were so comfortable! The breakfast was nice and warm and very nice and we'll prepared the orange juice and other drinks were very nice and high quality. The manager of the hotel came to greet us during breakfast he was extremely polite and friendly. All the staff were very helpful. Highly recommended staying! 😁

The service was exceptional. The staff friendly and courteous. My son and I were still on American time and woke up late for the breakfast which ended at 10. We arrived just after 10 and the doors were closed. A member of the staff I caught in the hallway, said "hold on a minute". They opened the doors for us, which was in itself very accommodating. But the thing most amazing is their attitudes could not have been any better throughout our breakfast. The front desk staff was also awesome and accommodating. There were no USB charging stations in the room, but the woman behind the desk gave me one to fit. The day before the man behind the desk recommended a great restaurant for us. The rooms were clean and perfect. The bathroom was clean as well. The grounds were great and scenic with a cool stone bridge over a stream and a multi level water garden. We used the gym, and it was clean, and not crowded. The staff there was friendly but not intrusive. I would highly recommend this hotel for any stay in the area.

We were desperate to find a room to let us check in early when we landed in Dublin around 5a last week to catch up on some much needed sleep as our original hotel could not accommodate early check in. After calling over a dozen hotels we found this gem, just north of Dublin. The lady at the front desk let us check in around 10a and welcomed us to grab breakfast when we arrived. The room was beautiful, spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable that we decided to forgo our previous reservation and stay the whole night here as well. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Received a 2 night stay as a wedding gift and all we can say is Wow . The rooms are amazing along with the grounds surrounding the hotel . Bar is so relaxing and staff are absolutely amazing. Restaurant unfortunately is closed at present but on the plus side you can order a takeaway and eat in the bar which is actually perfect and so relaxing . If you haven't been here then get on and book it you will not be disappointed.

Brilliant experience, we booked here as a two group family. 4 adults and 5 kids. The location is perfect for tayto park. We were made aware prior to booking about renovations taking place and restaurant closed. The staff went above and beyond to recommend local restaurants and ring taxis etc. From the minute we walked in the door we were made feel welcome and every staff member was friendly. Well done to all the team.

Nice place. Dated looking. Needs modernisation and bring it to the 21st century staff is really nice and professional. Bar is very old school and didn’t look to appealing. I think it could be better

A very homely hotel with quiet, well fitted out rooms. Beautiful grounds to walk around and relax in as well. Excellent service from the front desk, restaurant and bar staff. A short drive into the centre of Drogheda and a good bar, The Black Bull, is close by.

It's a very nice room, but there is a hidden door behind a full length mirror in our bathroom. Also the fire alarm went off at 6:30 am. There was no fire. The heated towels in the bathroom were awesome.

We had a nice stay at the B&B. It's a really quiet and relaxing atmosphere. You can enter the centre of Drogheda by foot or bus. The bus line 101 drives pretty much every hour so going to Dublin is pretty easy. The service is really nice and friendly. The rooms are great, the beds are comfortable, there was an opportunity to make coffee or tea, the bathroom was nice and modern and everything was clean. The breakfast was delicious and they had a good variety of food and drinks to choose from. Would definitly recommend! Thanks for the nice stay and greetings from Germany! Lea and Anna-Lena

A lovely stay here on a business trip for around a week. The place was very nice and the stay was relaxing. Sleep quality was great as it was nice and quiet. Rooms were very good, mine sadly didn't look towards the wonderful garden but was great still. Breakfast was good too, overall stay very enjoyable. Shout out to Stephen in the bar, Holly and Gayle.

Beautifully refurbished rooms. A quiet location to get away from it all with lovely grounds for walks. Reception is quiet and at present there is just B&B service offered, with a bar in situ. Breakfast was described as continental, but more than delivered as it had a hot food element. Food was great, coffee perfect. I would return and can't wait until the kitchen refurbishment is completed.

Celebrated a family birthday here in December and the staff were fantastic. So refreshing to meet people who really appreciate customer service. From reception to bar to management 5*. Had a great night here. Only improvement to be made is the Breakfast presentation. Was a little bit tired looking when we came to eat at 10am.

Amazing staff, beautiful room with a view, coziest bed in Ireland, delicious breakfast, couldn’t recommend it more highly, would come back anytime! (Front desk was very helpful and got us in very quickly after a very early flight, all other hotels were booked)

Visiting from Finland. Place is beautiful and the rooms are very cozy. The area is nice and it's not too long to walk to the Drogheda center. Breakfast is good too, although it would be very nice to have some veggies as an option too, like tomato or cucumber for the bread etc.

Lesuire Centre wasnt open, restaurant wasn't open, wasn't informed of this before booking, room was so hot all night, and no hot food with breakfast, was not informed of that either because if I was I would not have booked.

Not really happy with my stay. Got offered the wrong room, booked a twin but got a double bed, first room was not really clean in the bathroom. The manager offered us another room even though it was told before there is no free rooms. On top of all the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Breakfast is just decent. Overall not a great experience. Staff apologised about the fire alarm but nothing was offered after all.

Lovely hotel, staff were very attentive. Rooms modern and spotlessly clean. Nice walk around the grounds. Only downside for us was not having a cooked breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. I visited when kitchen was closed for refurb, was reflected in the price. Will return when kitchen is back in action again

Staff were very nice and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous and the room was cosy. However...being charged 150 for one night and not having access to the pool, sauna, steam room or jacuzzi, with only a limited continental breakfast and no restaurant was disappointing. The wine glasses were not cleaned very well and the room was not cleaned to a standard worth 150eu. I feel a little bit robbed. One of the staff members accused me of being a passing by homeless person when I was having a cigarette in the evening. Didn't even get the room we booked because it wasn't cleaned by 5 o clock. Bit of a disappointment. I'm sure it's a lovely place when renovations are not ongoing and everything is open but it is somewhat inconsiderate to be charging 150eu for a bed and continental breakfast. Could have this at a hostel for much less and a cleaner standard.

Unexpected stay due to car trouble on the motorway and I could not praise the Hotel enough! The staff were beyond wonderful, so welcoming, friendly and helpful! As noted, the hotel is going through refurb but my modern room was fab - floor to ceiling windows and all the comforts. A great example of Irish hospitality at its finest - will definitely visit again.
