We have just found a hidden special hideaway and it's called the Listoke House, its relaxing and beautiful even in the rain, Juiliet is a lovely host and makes you feel very relaxed and if you need anything she is on call, loved the gardens and little hideaways and seating areas which we found our place to relax and enjoy a few glasses of wine, and you might even come across Battersby the friendly family dog. We felt very comfortable and even felt we were in our own little paradise and with no TV it wasn't missed, we talked more and enjoyed spending time together, we will definitely return, thanks for stay 🌻🌻

What a beautiful place! The house goes back in time, with all the modern amenities. Feels like home away from home. Beautiful gardens and orchards where you can sample tasty, succulent pears, plumbs and apples. Juliet and Raymond are the perfect hosts. Warm, friendly and inviting. And of course the clincher to this is that they accept our furbabies. Can't recommend Listoke House highly enough without sounding like we're under cover! We hope to come back to avail of their yoga retreats.

I highly recommend Listoke House for a peaceful get away, I totally relaxed with a bath after arrival, the rooms were huge and comfortable and spotless clean. I relaxed in the gardens, so chilled out in nature there, truly beautiful. The breakfast was so yummy, I had vegetarian, with homemade bread and jams and honey, croissants, fresh fruit prepared, delicious. A grill was optional. A 2 nights stay in this glorious place left me feeling revived, recharged and relaxed. Thankyou Juliet for making us feel so welcome, we will be back😊😊😊

Lovely rustic country house and a very quaint tea room. The surrounding area is gorgeous and lots of animals wandering about. The tea and coffee in the tea room was delicious but we waited about 20mins in all to be served and also to receive our tea and coffee.

Beautiful rooms in a beautiful home! Down a wooded drive, which felt more secure and secluded that other places located directly on the street. The owner, Raymond, was very accommodating, and had no problem with us checking in after midnight when we arrived! Went out of his way to make sure we were settled for the night before saying good night. Told us some history of the home and even let us pick our own room out of the few available. The grounds are amazing, including some gardens that are well cared for, an art gallery, tea room, and a gin distillery! Before checking out Raymond showed us around the distillery and made sure we had what we needed to have a proper gin and tonic - even giving us some orange peel, juniper berries, and tonic water to take with us! The room includes a cold breakfast, but Raymond's wife offered to make us eggs as well. The room itself was gorgeous, with a spacious bathroom and walk in shower. Everything was well cleaned and cared for. I can't say enough good about our night there! Next time we come, we will stay a few nights and take the gin class!!

Lovely old charm to house. Limited parking. Had afternoon tea and really good food. Lots of courses. Quite rustic but that was charming. Lovely gardens to walk around and small gallery and shop. Have to drive to it.

Amazing rooms and surroundings. The owner is a gent and could not be more helpful. There are 3 adorable dogs on the grounds which make you feel at home. Would highly recommend.

We were due to stay here but the owner double booked us but only told us when we were up in the room. I had booked it 4 months in advance for our anniversary! I booked it for the setting. It would have been very romantic. In fairness to him, he was very apologetic and secured a room in another hotel in Drogheda for us. We felt it was very unprofessional to only tell us as we arrived.
