Great place to stay. Very welcoming and inviting. Close to bus station and Drogheda is a lovely place to visit with its history and walks. Right up the street from the hostel is Barlow's Railway Tavern, which was perfect for a pint. There was plenty for breakfast at the hostel. We had room #7, which has a huge comfy bed, kitchenette, and its own toilet and shower.

I had the pleasure of staying in the Spoon and the Stars and I really enjoyed my stay. I stayed in the 10 bed dorm and I always had a good night's sleep. The dorm was kept very clean as were the showers and toilets. The hostel is very well managed by friendly and polite staff. I always felt welcome and getting a hello seemed to be just part of the service. I recommend the Spoon to anyone.

We had a great short stay here. The hostel is perfect for socialising in the courtyard, kitchen or comfy seated coach areas. Breakfast in the well equipped kitchen was limited, but ideal for our needs.

Nice place, quirky and not like the chain hotels. Friendly staff, comfortable beds and easy walk to town. No parking at the hostel but there is plenty nearby

Good place to stay, just be careful if you are tall. The last floor is not so easy for people like me with more then 1.90 meters,

Great value accommodation a few minutes walk from the centre. Decor is eccentric and eclectic, with plenty of character, and suited us perfectly. Very clean, with everything you need for a stay in Drogheda.

I recommend this hostel to everyone! You can't get any place better than that in Drogheda. The staff is so kind and friendly. So warm and cozy and well set up with hair dryers, blankets to snuggly under in the sitting room. I have been to there a couple of times and it´s definitely a place to return to!

Fabulous building and rooms. Eclectic collection of furniture and decorations. Great communal areas where you can relax and chat to people from all over.

Host promised to change reservation for a single day but then backed out only after I arrived and charged me for multiple days that I was not even there. Fortunately I went through Airbnb to resolve issues after host refused to. Needless to say I did not stay there after the most unwelcoming welcome.

It was the first time for me in a hostel, and I guess I can`t choose a better one for this. The People there were so friendly and open hearted. I had so good conversations, and if you need help someone is there. Thank you for the good time! If you are not tough Irish guy, take extra clothes with you;)
