Lovely B&B, visited for a medieval event however the staff were super helpful and the rooms were a good size. The communal spaces available were really well appointed and beautifully decorated. Would fully recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Not open for general people/ book ahead and check as it is booked by a group for the foreseeable future with no outside people allowed. Really wish they had had a sign out the front saying they were totally closed. Turned up end of a hot day with a small tent cycling hoping for a camping spot and water, was moved on very swiftly... Ended up camping somewhere down the road near the river, after cycling quite a bit further. Did see the end of the day's sunlight through one of the tombs looking for an okay camping spot, and managed to get water the next day from the kind Buddhist centre nearby ...so worked out in the end...

The hosts were welcoming and kind when our medical emergency made us look for a local place to sleep. Their property is gorgeous and so quiet. We will happily return, with more friends to explore and have a fun base camp.

Stayed in the dormitory during February half term when it was quiet. Sleeps 12 in IKEA bunk beds, linen provided. Each bed has a reading light, plug & USB charger. Has ensuite toilet, sink, shower with plenty of towels, but would recommend bringing a towel for the shower. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My friends stayed in a room and it looked good. Nice accommodation at a sensible price. Would highly recommend.

Best choice if you want to get to Newgrange first thing. (Which you do). We paid €59 for a double and was the best value in the area. Continental breakfast. Clean, modern, comfortable, and friendly, I even got a free beer for my birthday! Great bar 5 min drive away.

The perfect location if you're visiting Newgrange, or any other sites around the Boyne Valley. The rooms are very clean, and the facilities were good. Breakfast was included in the price. It's self serve, but they offer a good selection and there should be something for everyone. We arrived quite late on the evening we were checking in, and the staff were very accomodating.

Lovely B&B, right across from entrance to the historic Newgrange Monument. Host was friendly and helpful. The rooms are a nice size, clean and tidy with an ensuite. There is free WiFi, a TV with Saorview and tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. The hot water takes a while to come through to the shower in the ensuite but that's not a big deal. There is little to no Vodafone phone signal here though. The breakfast is a cold style continental breakfast with no hot food available. There is a dining room and kitchen area available for guests to use which is great and also communal spaces to relax. It's close to the village of Donore which has a pub/restaurant and a chipper and the towns of Slane & Drogheda are only a few mins drive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and easy going. I would stay here again.

Newgrange Lodge is a clean, friendly, safe, informal accommodation convienent to Newgrange. It's an easy to get to location. I've been there 2 times for group events. Both times were quite well done with organized and friendly staff.

Well what can I say from arrival at the reception to be greeted by a lovely lady with a smile to explain everything and show us around the beautiful property. The rooms are absolutely immaculate and the breakfast beautiful and fresh. I have stayed in many hotels throughout Ireland and have never experienced and more welcoming reception and experience than in the Newgrange Lodge.Couldnt recommend more and a special mention to Charlie .

Quiet countryside quest house. Place to relax, no shops nearby or any amenities. Currently occupied.

Stayed here for 1 night. Place was very clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was plentiful. The only thing is the walls are very thin and we were woken at 5am by the people next door. They must have been leaving early. We could here them talking and walking about. Also they were bangings doors. They should have had consideration for other guests. This would put me off going back

I arrived this lodge too early but reception kept my bags. Also I could do early check in, and they were so kind!!! Free tea and coffee anytime in the day and night, and this really helped me. People, who stay there, could use kitchen.

Amazing place, beautiful area, PHENOMENAL service. One of the employees was kind enough to give our group a ride into town when our taxi bailed on us. 10 stars!!!

Steer well clear of this hoax!! The only good thing about the whole place is the covers on the beds! Horrible smell coming from the toilet we asked could it be rectified and we were told to not use the toilet in the room til the next morning when a plumber could come out. All your breakfast are Lidls finest. Staff running it seemed like they didn't want to be there at all and to be honest I don't blame them! Surely something better out there for your money's worth
