Stayed in the Oak yurt for 2 nights in July. 2 adults, 2 kids (11 and 9). The yurt was great, really comfy beds, beautiful surroundings. Loads of space around the yurt. The tents are well spaced out. The kitchen facilities were great, plenty of plates, cups, utensils etc. Each accommodation gets its own box full of necessities. We went kayaking with the kids which was great, brilliant guides, really friendly and helpful. We swam in the natural pool after which was a great way to cool down on a hot day. There was a lot of noise on our first night from some other people that went on until about 3am. There is an 11pm curfew. I rang the emergency number around 3am, they apologised and said we should have rang earlier. They sent someone around to check and the noise stopped. That was the only issue with our stay. They handled it really well though and I would strongly recommend calling the number if you have any issues with noise at night. They do take it seriously to try to ensure everyone can enjoy their stay. We would definitely like to go back again.

Excellent day out with the family: exercise, nature and a new experience. The guides were great and gave the perfect level of fun and information. When our 10 y.o got tired arms we could tow her a little too. Thoroughly enjoyable adventure, would highly recommend

We had a lovely stay in the Ash Yurt. The weather wasn't the best but we had our wood stove lit & it kept us toasty. Pizza package was lovely and we had plenty to eat. Highly recommended & we will definitely be back with our kids next year.

I photographed an outdoor wedding at The Rock Farm last year and loved the venue. It's the perfect spot for your alternative, rustic wedding. There's no need to go anywhere for photos as it's all there.

Great place to stay, fresh air, great accomadation, friendly staff. Nice to have a walk around the grounds have a look at the cows and pigs, get in the outdoor hot tub and then back to the warm cabin. 20-30min walk from Slane town so not too bad for dinner in the evening. Great accomadation at a great price, highly recommend.

Slane is one of the best places to be in spring and early summer I have great memory's I have been there for the past 50years and what a joy the wildlife is wonderful the bird song is something and my love for the fishing has no match on the east coast long may it last Brendan Jervis senior

We stayed in the lime house, where we celebrated our wedding in a small group. The house is fantastic for a big group, large communal area, numerous big bedrooms with ensuites and lovely grounds. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hottub under the stars is amazing! The kids loved making their pizzas in the pizza oven, however the pizza packs were too basic for the price and need some more thought and quality. The house was also very dusty with lots of spider webs (putting up decorations was a dirty task!), But beds were comfortable and clean, as were the bathrooms. The kitchen needs some attention (there are pots that do not work with the conduction cooler, no pans that aren't awfully damaged, sticky countertops). But great large fridges and lots of plates, cutlery, etc!

Great place to stay. We stayed in one of the shepherds huts. Unfortunately it was the hottest day of the year so it was a little uncomfortable to sleep so bring a fan if it’s warm but the hut was comfortable and very quaint. Bring plenty of bug spray as you’ll be inundated with them due to its proximity to trees and also it’s in a farm. The kitchen has everything you need in it and the toilets are spotless as are the showers. My only gripe was that I didn’t spend enough time there as we needed to work the next day so couldn’t enjoy the hot tub but definitely well worth the money and will be returning as soon as possible.

Great spot.stayed in a yurt for 3 night.very clean a comfortable Picnic table and fire pit right out side great fun at night.toliets and shower area spotless. Sharing kitchen area always spotless. You get a shelf in the fridge to keep assentles cool. Highly recommend some thing very different to do for a few days away.

This is a hidden gem! Truly a fantastic glamping experience staying here; you feel like you're part of nature, waking up just next to Slane Castle! It's located in the most peaceful area and the yurt was perfect for three people. The wood burning stove heated up the yurt and created a cozy atmosphere. I would have loved to stay for longer! Great communal space with kitchen, shower etc. 5 stars!

Really enjoy our stay here. We stayed in the Shepherds Hut and it was so comfortable. We also got a food pack which was delicious and all from the farm. There are some lovely walks in the area and it an ideal getaway for anyone looking for a comfy country stay.

Great for family outdoors adventure. Nice and clean. Shops and pub etc a 5 min drive into Slane village. Not much for kids to do so bring your own entertainment. Fantasia and Tayto Park 20 min drive away

Had the best time this weekend at Rock Farm. Went with hubby, 3 year old and 1 year old with friends who had 2 kids aswel and stayed in a yurt. The kids had a ball lots of outdoor adventures. Place was lovely and clean, kitchen toilets showers spotless and everything u need. Lovely outdoor sitting area under cover for the rainy days. Sad to leave.

We had the pleasure of photographing Gillian and Annette's wedding at Rock Farm. It was a beautiful day, they had their outdoor ceremony under a huge tree, whilst their guests surrounded them perched on hay bales. Rock farm was the perfect location for their laid back boho wedding. The reception space in the barn was awesome and the newly weds were able to really put their own stamp on it. The staff at Rock Farm were brilliant. We'd highly recommend Rock farm for a wedding and we'd love to photograph another wedding here soon! ig: @honeyandthemoonphotography

Came for a wedding in august 2021 and also camped for the weekend (Harry Styles concert at Slane Castle). The organization and the love for what they do from the owners is next level. They are super welcoming, flexible and with great communication. Thanks again for another wonderful stay, and can’t wait to visit the farm again.

16 of us stayed in Lime House for. Hen party last weekend. We really had a brilliant time. We used the hot tub twice and found it brilliant. The house itself is very clean and spacious. There are two big tables and plenty of chairs so we could seat everyone at the same time for lunch. The sitting room is lovely and very suitable for a large group. There was plenty of space in the grounds beside the house for the games we had planned. A few of the ladies went for a walk around the grounds and we're very impressed. Overall we all felt this was a great venue for a hen party.

Absolutely fabulous ❤️ cannot fault it. Just a tip if your staying more than one night buy some extra wood. A fantastic gem of a place , we had great fun travelled from Cork. Four ladies on a mission to have fun - relax & celebrate a birthday. thanks Eileen H for finding this gem 🥰🥰🥰🥰 & the new pals we danced with 😂

3 generations of a family had a fantastic weekend. Loved the natural pool, hot tub and the pigs! Food from bbq was delicious and such a treat to be cooked for. Pizza packs were great fun and very tasty. Loads to do in the area. Thanks to all the staff especially the "pig farmer" kids loved learning how to look after them

I booked The Lime House for my sisters hen in Oct. The house was very modern and spacious and really warm. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The breakfast package was fantastic, 2 lovely staff came in to cook for us that morning, it was delicious! The activities they offer were great and the hot tub at the house was divine! We got a local taxi to Navan which was about 20 mins away. Would definitely recommend it.

Rock Farm was a perfect stay in the shepherd’s hut and really enjoyed my night, didn’t want to leave! Everything you need and the grounds are lovely, communal areas big and clean and would love to come back and see it in the summer. Thanks!
