Newly made trails linking up with existing ones now makes this great walk even better . Great views of the Boyne valley . Coffee /snack truck with decent ice cream too. Decent parking with park benches. Little gem really . Bigger trail walk than you might initially think.

They have cleared new pathways in the woods. This makes it is truly exceptional place too loose one self. An amazing place to walk.

Plenty of walks on both sides of the woodlands. Free parking. Picnic area. Dirt bike tracks and plenty of walk trails

Very good walk for those with a reasonable level of fitness and suitable footwear, part of a 25km treck loop into Drogheda

Beautiful part of the world in a truly historic setting. Walking under leafy canopies is enough by itself.

Perfect local place for a walk in the woods and as long as you like as it goes al far as you like. Dogs love it and feel free. There is a little river and it's very refreshing. Don't forget proper shoes as it can be muddy in some parts. Our favourite family walk for the weekend.

Great historic building, designed by Francis Johnson for the Townley Balfour Family in circa 1764, which now houses the School of Philosophy and Economic Science.

This is a beautiful place to wander on your own or with children. There are plenty of wild deer in area, rabbits, foxes and birds of prey. Wellies are advised after heavy showers and muddy happy kids are guaranteed
