After viewing all the negative reviews about the pool it looks like they’ve improved that area of the gym. The water quality is back to it's normal state but the waterslides aren't being used at this time. The hot tubs are very warm and have room for at least 10 people. This location is nicer than the one in Cleveland.

I've been a member now for a few months and I must say this place is everything I hoped it would be. The facility is amazing, clean and modern. The pools are absolutely perfect to burn some calories or rest after a hard week of stressful work. The absolute best part is the staff. They really care about your experience. Today for example at the outdoor pool I witnessed a life guard going out of his way to make some kids happy by cheering them on while they raced down the slides and splashing water on them for fun. No one was watching and yet they still made sure those kids had a blast. Since I've joined I've now added my entire family to the membership. My wife and daughter love going to spend time in the sauna and hot tubs. Ill be a member for life with this level of service.

Facility Iis very nice and worth the money. The front desk staff though acts like they can't be bothered to say anything to you while they finish their conversation. Worked at guns before and greeting the customer and saying goodbye were major points to their customer experience. Not here, front desk is too busy talking to each other to say anything

If there was 0 I would give them 0, but there’s not The lifeguard named Dereck was horrible lifeguard to work at LifeTime. We used water slides outside and ‘’he was telling me if u break rules u gone be kicked out of the pool’’ I don’t understand which rules we broke We asked them to open cameras and check if we broke any rules we gonna leave but supervisor Shania didn’t want to check cameras. We were 10 people and they asked all people to leave! We like lifetime services but some workers are terrible to work with!!!

It's a nice gym with a lot of amenities, but was disappointed in the overall experience for the expensive price. I specifically wanted to try the climbing wall but they only open it a couple hours a day. The website does not tell you this and I didnt know until after I paid $30 to get in. I expected that if they list an amenity, it's open to use when the gym is open unless otherwise specified on the website. I also forgot my water bottle and could only get a tiny glass bottle from the Cafe which was awkward to carry around a gym. Check in process is also really complicated for getting a day pass the first time because they make you manually type in your credit card info. Women also have to carry around keys for the lockers instead of using your own lock. If you lose it, they charge you. I didn't have any pockets and was really nervous about it. Locker rooms are nice but the shower doors are silly and don't actually close. They just swing around. Not a great experience with a day pass.

Facility is very nice. Went back today(12/6/2023). Kudos to the woman at the front desk this afternoon. She was welcoming and pleasant. Edit-1/6/2024: Since my original review 4 weeks ago there has been a substantial effort to clean up the facility. It is much improved. I have increased my rating from 2 to 4 stars. Room for improvement but sanitary conditions are much better and use of the facility is much more enjoyable.

The ladies who take care of the women’s locker room do such a nice job and work so hard. I really appreciate all the hard work they do to keep everything stocked, clean and nice for the club members. It makes a huge difference-you women are awesome! Thank you!

Lifetime mason is part of my daily routine. The associates who man the front desk, the locker room, etc are friendly and hard working. They are no more 24/7. But a very classy place.

I go to the pool a lot with family here and the pool staff is definitely the most inattentive group of teens. The aren’t really aware or interested in helping my husband fell from the outdoor hot tub they didn’t check on us. Thank god I had a first aid kit in the car. Later it got infected that was fun. On a separate trip the indoor hot tub jets weren’t on it took about 5 minutes to communicate it to the the staff who don’t seem to have many brain cells. Then after trying a few switches they gave up. I can’t believe I pay to be ignored here.

The lap pool at this facility is basically a day care center. I stopped in last month to check out getting a membership mostly because they have two indoor pools. they said the pools were open from 5am to midnight. Great, right? i revisited last Wednesday intending to purchase a membership. I looked over at the lap pool and saw there was a child splashing and shrieking in virtually every square foot of it. There had to be 40 kids in the pool. I asked at the front desk to see a pool schedule to see when the swim classes were so I could know when I could come in to avoid kids swim lessons. The guy said the kids were not there for lessons, that kids are in the pool EVERY DAY from 3 to 7 pm. I said: "It''s 8:30pm right now. If I had a membership, when would the pool be available for swimming laps in the evening? He told me I could just ask the kids to move over and give me a lane. I said I wouldn't want to get in a pool with 40 kids in it. He told me the couldn't MAKE the kids get leave, their parents were in the gym working out. He suggested I might just swim in the large pool because it was just a little more shallow than the lap pool

I would have loved to give 5 stars to this facility. But yesterday, during my swim practice, I hit my foot badly on these very hard lane dividers in the lap pool. As of today, I'm still feeling the same pain and I might have to consult a doctor tomorrow. The staff was apologizing but not cooperative at all. An indoor swimming pool during the cold months is very important to me, so I will have to consider other options for the future.

My mom has been going to this gym for over 10 years. Lady harassed my mother in the locker room with racist accusations. This lady also harassed the employees. This same lady also keeps harassing my mother, saying how much she hates Asians, every time she encounters my mother at this gym. We have notified the general manager, Kevin Hill, several times about this situation. He never responded to me (I came in person, and emailed him). My mother managed to sit down and speak with him in person, which he told her this lady was no longer welcomed at lifetime in mason. Well… my mother has seen her several times and keeps getting harassed, and it has been weeks since my mother has spoke with Kevin. I have tried contacting corporate, but there is no direct contact. This gym is a nice facility, but the staff does not enforce its members to clean up after themselves, and is not as clean as it used to be. It’s a lot more crowded too - I can’t sign up for yoga classes hardly anymore. But most importantly am just disgusted how the general manager has treated me and my mother.

Why are all the places bad that I go to…. I went to the summer camp and was treated like a 6 year old. And also the head of the summer camp went to vacation during summer. Like really. The kids there are crazy too and cough. I went to gymnastics/tumbling in a little kid room that smelled like diapers.

Bad experience for a kid's birthday party!!! I am not a member at the gym but I was there for a kids birthday party this past weekend.  I can tell you overall the place looked nice everything was laid out nice but the people were not trained well. Honestly I don't think this reflects badly on the people who are working there. I think this reflects very poorly on the facilities management. When you hire 18-20 year olds they need to be managed and there wasn't anyone in sight that came and managed them or checked up on them. 1) Upon arrival the pizza was already sitting there. I'm not sure how long it had been sitting there before arrival but we were there on time. I'm not sure if this is normal to just to leave food sitting there without warming it or anything for who knows how long. I would normally expect the pizza to arrive somewhere between 15 or 20 minutes after the party starts. 2) One girl was telling the kids to go play in the bounce house while the other girl was telling the kids to go eat pizza. My kids were upset and confused as was I. 3) When the cake was served the staff had seconds, before some of the guests even had a first helping. When the father of the birthday boy came over to get a second helping he asked the girl that was cutting the cake to give him a second helping. Her reply was I'm sure you know how to do it yourself as she was shoveling cake in her mouth. At one point the boy who was watching the bounce house left the kids unattended in the bounce house and it started collapsing as he was eating cake. I'm not sure if that was his second or third piece; it was hard to keep track. 4) The staff started putting the toys away 1 hour before the party ended. The staff took down the bounce house 45 min before the end of the party. At 2:25 The girl said to the group "just letting you know we close at 3:00" as she swept and threw everything away. The mother of the birthday boy said she paid till 3:00. 5) I overheard a conversation between the two girls saying the one girl sent the boy home early and that's why they needed to tear down the bouncy castle early.

Full of moronic teenagers with 0 gym etiquette who crowd and sit around on machines having conversations. Multiple people will disturb you mid-set. Probably the only Lifetime I’ve been to that has had kids go unchecked like this. Incredibly irritating for the other members. LA fitness was terrible but had better members than this.

This is the best gym, hands down. The staff is professional and knowledgeable. You have all the amenities you could want. The pool area is a plus. You can't go wrong here. We love it!

I can’t say better things about the staff at life time, on the other hand I can’t say worse about the clients that go to this gym. On one had the staff & crew are extremely professional and always helpful while 80%~ of customers (gym members) are stuck up, pretentious, and don’t understand basic gym etiquette. I’ve been to 20+ gyms in my life and this is the only one that the lack of etiquette and friendliness to others is almost systematic. Although with this said the staff & equipment do outweigh the negatives, and I will continue to come here for the foreseeable future!

**Dont go here*** What a horibble experienced - First the gentleman at the first desk told me I wasn't serious about fitness so this isn't the right gym for me (openly fat shaming me) then my kid asked for tour anyways to change the subject and he said " it would have to be VERY VERY VERY quick because im busy!" I said nevermind seeing that he didn't want us there and couldn't provide a proper tour. Geezz, Ive never felt so unwanted and shamed for my size before plus it $290 a month for a 3 person family!! I don't know what's all included because we didn't get a tour.

The manager of lifetime did not wanted to help us because of our looks and we put it in hold in August and someone from lifetime reactivated our account and know they want us to pay $700 and $300 more for this month. And we asked for a costumer service she did not give a phone number to contact them, and she was being mean. I think her name was Alex in mason, Ohio.

I recently relocated from Texas to Ohio and attempted to sign up, accompanied by a friend. Despite having two guest passes, I pleaded with the receptionist to allow my friend to enter as a guest, as it was nearly 8:50 pm, and guest hours supposedly ended at 9pm. Despite my explanations and pleas, she remained indifferent and unyielding. This experience left me feeling deeply disappointed, frustrated, and abandoned, realizing the lack of care and empathy from the staff towards customers' situations. I would give zero stat because this location was suggested by a friend and we drove almost an hour till here. She didn't damn care about us. Good job

Just No, I have been going to every lifetime in the state of Ohio and Arizona for years since 2019/2020, until the manager stops me on my way to a class to cancel my membership because they accused me of theft when I told him I clearly last saw the item inside the building, I specifically told him where i last saw it - anyway the manager didn't seem to believe that I was telling the truth and Cancelled my membership - then when I emailed him about a (partial) refund because he basically wasted my money for the rest of that month - he decided to not reply - I paid over a hundred dollars that month and didn't even get to use the gym for the majority of the month - if you're going to cancel someone's happiness/ favorite gym in the world abruptly then at least let them finish out the month to get their money's worth):

Very good facility with a great variety of workout classes. I personally like Barbell Strength and lap swimming. I am so impressed by the work ethic of the management. In short staff situations, the managers are picking up the slack. No job is beneath them. The management sets a positive tone from the top that makes them great leaders.

I'll get right to it. Great General Manager Kevin Hill. Awesome personal trainer Director who loves what he does and is just flat out one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Great front desk and reception team. Customer Service 101 - you can tell that it is tressed from the top down. Oh, and as we all look for, very clean. As I always say, you can tell a lot about a person on how they act when nobody's looking. I work from home and hit the gym at lunch time once in a while. Was blown away when I saw the army of personal trainers, GM, and staff at 1 pm all come up and start wiping down and closely looking to clean machines & equipment. BTW, the pool rocks in summertime as well. Love my membership. Keep it up everyone.

I love Lifetime Fitness. My favorite way to start the day is coming here to workout, and use the Sauna. Very clean, and all the employees are very nice and always greet you when you walk past them. The reason I did not give five stars is because it is expensive, and for some of the ammonites still being closed due to the plandemic and their hours being reduced the price would not be justified if I did not come here so often.

I've been a member at Lifetime - Deerfield Township for more than 2 years and I love the convenience of having an all-in-one fitness center. I can get in an extensive work out, spend time on cardio, go for a swim, get a massage or haircut, and get something to eat--all in the same facility! The staff is friendly and the grounds are clean and beautiful.

The gym is decent, nice that there is a sauna in the pool area and the locker room. Shower doors are classy af. Couple things though. Bro's... if you have to drop those weights, they are to heavy for you. Go lighter before you give yourself a hernia. Underwear does not double as pool and spa attire. And who's the scabby soul who fills the pool with band aids. Let it heal before a swim or at least take it off before you jump in.

I have been a member of this gym for several years, and I must say that I've noticed a significant decline in the overall quality of the facilities and services. While I understand that changes can happen over time, the recent deterioration has been quite concerning. The pool water quality has become an issue, with a noticeable change in its color and the presence of debris that seems to linger for extended periods. It's disheartening to observe a lack of proper maintenance, as evidenced by the same band-aid floating in the pool for weeks. This neglect raises concerns about hygiene and safety, wouldn't be surprise if someone contract an amoeba infection from the pool. Furthermore, the gym seems to have shifted its focus away from cleanliness and customer satisfaction. I recall a time when the gym was diligently cleaned, but unfortunately, that is no longer the case. This is especially troubling given the recent increase in membership fees from $69.99 to $129.99 per month. As a long-term member, it's disappointing to witness a decline in the gym's standards without a corresponding improvement in services. The pricing adjustments have also affected the affordability of the shakes offered at the gym. What used to be a reasonably priced option at $5 has now been raised to $9.95. While I understand that costs can change, I hope the management considers maintaining a balance between providing quality products and keeping them accessible to all members. I must also mention an incident I encountered in the locker room where a fellow member put their soaking sweat gym cloth in the swim suit water extractor. This not only reflects a lack of consideration for others but also raises concerns about the general hygiene practices within the facility. I write this review with the intention of offering constructive criticism, as I genuinely believe that this gym has the potential to regain its previous high standards. A renewed focus on cleanliness, timely maintenance, and fair pricing adjustments would greatly improve the overall experience for all members. I hope my feedback is taken into consideration and that positive changes are made to restore the gym's reputation for excellence. Also the gym used to be 24/7 now it's not. Pretty sad. I wouldn't recommend signing up this gym. I'm about to cancel it.

As someone who has been a member since 2013 and travels to lifetime’s around the country, my review is overly generous. First the locker room is filthy. I am in town for work for two weeks. I have seen the same disgusting grime on the floors. I see calcium build up in the bathrooms stalls for the time i have attended. This tells me no cleaning is taking place. This lack of attention to detail and hygiene is a health risk. I have never seen a lifetime that runs out of towels on such a consistent basis. Frankly if I was the DM of this district, I would check how often the GM is here and how often he conducts inspections. These poor people in Mason do not know how great a lifetime can be. I would take pictures of the locker room but that would be against club policy. I will be conducting corporate for a credit for this month. Gross. As a follow up, I saw the post from the club below. The bathrooms still have not been cleaned. Thankfully my last day in town. I almost drove 85 miles to Columbus, but saw the reply below. Just lip service.
