Where do I begin. I'll try to give you some insight. My wife has been off since November with debilitating headaches from Bethesda North. She's been seeing her family physician, a neurologist and last week she saw a neurosurgeon. At the time we knew she had something at the base of her brain. We didn't expect the neurosurgeon to tell us it was a mass and would require surgery. That same day she received a letter from Trihealth, stating that she had been terminated as an RN from Bethesda North. I couldn't believe an organization that is in the business of taking care of the sick could be so callous, that only after being off for two months they terminate you. Imagine finding that out when you're getting ready to endure the worst time of your life and had she had to depend on them for her insurance, we would have been ruined financially. So,when you look at Trihealth for your care, remember they wouldn't take care of their own, so, how can you expect them to take care of you? This is the lowest of the low of any organization that I've ever seen. I only hope they learn from this mistake and never do it to any of their nurses or staff in the future but I seriously doubt it. They have proven that all they care about is their bottom dollar.

I recently had an inpatient spine in surgery and had a horrible experience. The surgeon wanted to keep me multiple days but I declined after the first day. I simply called for a nurse just for the simple task of having someone get the phone for me so I could order my food. No one came. Waited over 30 min and called again but no one came. I finally got up myself and I fell. Called the nurse but while waiting 3 staff were right outside my open door chatting. I hollered for help but was ignored. I ended up getting myself off the floor. Later called nurse just to reach me my salad dressing that was placed too far away. No one came. Eventually I reached to get it while causing much struggle and pain. In doing so, I spilled my tea all over me and my bed. They left me wet like that until the next day. The only kind staff I remember is Tabby, and Alicia from transport. It's been a week now and I still have bruises all along my arm, hand, and wrist. They are still painful. No idea what they did to me while I was under. All I know is I'll never go back.

Pretty slow and not very attentive. Told 2 different nurses, one nurse twice that there was blood in our room from when the lady was doing samples. She spilled blood and dropped a cap over to another patientā€™s side. 3 hrs later itā€™s still here, hasnā€™t been cleaned up. What if her blood was very dangerous and was carrying a disease?! They also need to clean the floors. Dirt & dust šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

I really donā€™t even want to give this hospital a single star, I would give zero if that was an option. My dad is currently admitted and had major spinal surgery and the staff are the most inattentive people I have ever seen. I could take him out to dinner and return and they would never even know. I could walk out with him and it would be hours before they noticed. They havenā€™t done a single thing to make this experience less stressful than it already is. They didnā€™t take him to the post-op floor and when we requested for him to be moved, they refused. Well he isnā€™t getting proper care!!!! Heā€™s supposed to be using ice on his back but no one has given him that. My mom or I have to go fill the bag with fresh ice daily. How is someone supposed to heal when they are just left in a room??? I wouldnā€™t let this place treat my dog!

I completely understand why this hospital continue to receive such low review ratings. The Negatives: * The staff lack of positivity and smiles (certain staff members walked around like zombies with rude expressions on their faces). *The terrible customer service in the gift shop (I spent $60.00 on two fresh flower bouquets to be hand delivered to a special patient. The woman who delivered the flowers was rude, unprofessional and late). * If you are a person of color be prepared to experience racism to the maximum level. The Positives: *Minus the front reception desk staff (on the 2nd floor) majority of the nurses and doctors located on the 2nd floor post maternity level were friendly. * The cafeteria food during lunch time was the best time to eat. * The janitorial staff is excellent at keeping the waiting area and lavatories clean.

Compared to some of the other hospitals in the area Bethesda North Hospital actually stacks up pretty well in my opinion. Now not every interaction has been good, and I've had some fairly dark times in this place but overall due to a chronic illness, it is better here than UC or Mercy. First off, the emergency room seems to be properly staffed and they have always gotten me back to a room and treatment underway in fairly short order. Secondly the nurses here are really nice and seem to be well trained and are actually available (reasonable amount of time) when you hit your call light.

My 93 year old Mother was taken to BNH's ER with chronic heart failure. She was treated with the utmost respect and tenderness in the the ER and after admission in her room. The doctors were fabulous and her recovery was better and faster than expected. I have never seen such a compasionate and timely team. I have been in health care for over forty five years...BNH gets FIVE STARS from me and the happy little lady pictured below!

This place is unbelievable. All I see are nurses standing around shoving doughnuts down their throats. No one cares about the patients. The dr actually came in and gave us info on another patient before he realized he was in the wrong room. We are terrified and all they do is yell or ignore. It smells. It's dirty. The staff are all unprofessional. There are violations everywhere. Do not come here if you want to be healthy, happy, and safe.

This place is an absolute dump. My mom was rushed here after a fall and they literally lost her. No one has any idea where she is. The staff is SO RUDE. No one is wearing a mask in a HOSPITAL DURING A PANDEMIC. One of the white coats was EATING while badly answering my questions. She chewed like I cow while telling me she didn't know where my mom was. I didn't want her to come here because we had never been here and we will never return. This place should be shut down. I will be calling the state board.

Worst service ever! I had surgery there on 10/11, I was discharged on 10/16. Upon being discharged HomeCare nursing was supposed to come to my home. Make a long story short HomeCare never came because the hospital never told them I was out. I called Bethesda north and HomeCare the whole day. My PCP end up finding someone to patch my stomach up because Bethesda sent me home with my stomach wide open stating that HomeCare was coming which never happened. My PCP end up sending me to drake to get the open womb patches up. While at drake they noticed I had a fever so they directed me to go back to Bethesda north. I rush to Bethesda north where they ran test still stating nothing is wrong with me. Iā€™ve been in the E.R since 6 or 7pm yesterday. I was treated very poorly, I asked for my nurse for over two hours. The lady that answered the call light was very rude about how she donā€™t know who my nurse is ect. I also ask to order a food tray for two hours where I was ignored again. The surgeon came in gave them orders to give me Tylenol and order me a tray that I asked for for a hour prior to the surgeon coming still no Tylenol or tray. After calling several more time I became frustrated. Nurse Nadia comes in my room yells in my mother and my face WHAT DO YOU WANT! Very rude and unacceptable. I had to call patient relations, they sent the charge nurse. He was very respectful took care of the problem(made sure I got my meds, switched my nurse, and ordered me a tray) this by far has been the worst experience ever. I am still in the E.R waiting for a bed to become available up stairs. I wouldnā€™t recommend this hospital to no one

This is specific to radiology. One of the radiologist nurses was extremely rude when she took a family member back for a procedure. They were in pain, and the nurse was very unfeeling and rude. I couldn't even ask any questions before she took off. This place has seriously gone down hill, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had the unfortunate experience of having my mother-in-law admitted to this hospital due to a possible stroke or seizure. From the moment we arrived at the emergency room, the entire ordeal was nothing short of a nightmare. The emergency room was packed and chaotic, which made everything incredibly slow. Although they conducted a few tests on my mother-in-law, it took hours to get updates from the doctor, who seemed clueless about her condition. To make matters worse, I had to repeat her medical history to every person I spoke to. It is astonishing that a hospital in this day and age does not have an internal system to manage patient information effectively. To add insult to injury, I couldn't help but feel discriminated against because English is not my native language, and my mother-in-law did not speak English either. When the doctor attempted to communicate with her while she was unconscious, I kindly informed him that she didn't understand English. Instead of showing understanding, he gave me a condescending look, making me feel both uncomfortable and dismissed. After an excruciatingly long stay in the ER, undergoing numerous tests and bloodwork, the doctors decided to keep her overnight for observation and a possible MRI. Yet, even after spending the night at the hospital, we received no answers or updates from the medical staff. It was only after relentless calls that the doctor finally showed up, but he was far from helpful or empathetic. His only theory for my mother-in-law's condition was stroke activity, but he wanted to conduct the test the following day. When I asked why it couldn't be done that day, he responded rudely and mockingly, stating that such services don't work 24/7, unlike in my home country. I found this comment deeply offensive and entirely irrelevant to my legitimate question. As we waited for the test the next morning, it became apparent that the hospital lacked proper communication between staff members. Despite the attentive nurses and workers visiting us frequently, they seemed unaware of our current situation or the doctor's plans. It is incredibly disheartening to witness such incompetence and insensitivity in a medical facility. I genuinely wish I could give this hospital zero stars for its poor treatment and service. It is no surprise that they have garnered such negative reviews, and I would strongly advise anyone seeking quality healthcare to look elsewhere.

The Emergency Room is HORRIBLEā€¦it was hardly busy but you would have thought that it was at DEFCON 1 level by how poor the treatment my mother was given. The staff was inattentive , and when they did pay attention to her they were rude and snobby. They were talking about the people who were waiting in the lobby, making fun of their situations, and the way they were dressed. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I asked politely if they were under staffed and the nurse said ā€œNo , itā€™s just that people are always crazy when they come in here , they expect us to just jump up and wait on them. Thatā€™s not going to happen here.ā€ And that was in response because a Lady asked to go back with her Husband who has dementia, and could be heard crying out in the ER lobby. It was so sad and unbelievable. I absolutely hate bringing my elderly mother her but itā€™s closest to her home, so what am I supposed to do.

Terrible lack of care and consideration upon arrival from another Tri-Health facility for an emergency appendectomy already diagnosed from Arrow Springs. B North staff ignored my family member doubled over in pain for almost an hour in the waiting room. Only when I announced to the entire waiting room ā€œShe is about to pass out if you donā€™t help her soonā€, did anything change. Unacceptable. Prior, the front desk employee said, ā€œSir, everyone in the ER is in pain.ā€ Oddly, no one else was in tears? In my opinion, that employee needs a career change. She seems to not understand who her customer is.

My husband was taken to the emergency room, over the course of 30 hours they changed his medication which he had been on for months, three days later I am still trying to straighten it out while my husband is in rehab going through with drawl. On a regular basis his food and his urinal were sitting side by side. How filthy is that? Once a human could be located both the nurse and patient care assistant were very nice however the mistake in his medication could have killed him. They didn't even have the correct doctor listed...never heard of the person Bethesda listed on the information they sent to rehab....it's been a nightmare.

Iā€™d leave no stars if I could. I spent a full day in the ER because of pregnancy complications. I wasnā€™t showing yet and they made it clear they believed I was not pregnant until the blood work came back. After many hours I was given no answers and they refused to give me any results from any of my exams and tests. They just told me I might be fine or I might be very not fine and to come back the next week. I had to leave work and go back again the next day because my condition got worse and I still had no answers. My OB was concerned I could have been facing something life threatening but we couldnā€™t be sure of anything because Bethesda refused to release any of my results and records. After the second stay they finally told me I was miscarrying, not my first time, and when I asked how to move forward figuring out why and how to prevent this in the future they said I just couldnā€™t handle pregnancy and to stop trying. The only thing I got out of this place was learning my blood type. The bills keep coming and thereā€™s been no way for me to see what my balance is at or set up payment plans with the hospital payment terminal. The customer service line has been dead every time I call. Absolutely the worst hospital Iā€™ve ever seen. I only went here because I was advised to. Iā€™ve heard it was terrible but now I truly see whatā€™s so wrong with it. I should also clarify upon further discussion with other medical professionals weā€™ve discovered my pregnancy likely could have been saved had they cared enough to look into the situation and prioritize the life of my child.

My fiancĆ© was brought in an ambulance due to signs of a heart attack. After waiting for two hours we only saw a nurse and got an X-ray we finally saw the doctor for the first time. He had no clue on anything for why we was there. He proceeded to have to leave the room and look at everything we had tested at the start. She also took a urine test and they said theyā€™d come pick it up and it hasnā€™t left the room. -5 stars this is pathetic.

It's not the fact that you failed to send my mom's walker along with her Friday afternoon when she was transported to the skilled nursing facility, or the fact that your staff assured me after THEY asked me to leave it at the hospital upon her admission that it would not be lost and it was going to stay with her the whole time. It's not that when I found out about it Friday evening I called your CDU immediately and your representative assured me the charge nurse would call me right back, but didn't. It's not that it's Sunday and I called you again and your staff had the nerve to ask me to come and get it. It's not that 2 of the people I spoke with indicated that resolving the issue "wasn't their job." It's the fact that you have no systems in place other than 9-5, Monday thru Friday to resolve such matters, that nobody working outside these hours is empowered to fix such simple issues, and that each of your employees I spoke with clearly was more concerned with mitigating their's and the hospital's responsibility to ensure the walker was transported with her rather than accept blame and commit to doing the right thing. With all the money you made on her stay, you can afford to have a courier transport it rather than trying to inconvenience the family to have to come get it. If you can't handle a situation as simple as this, how could we entrust our lives with you in the event of a serious medical situation?

Made me wait for three hours in Emergency waiting while I had a complete blockage in my esophagus. Due to the time they made me wait, it required surgery to be removed. If I were seen immediately and given glucagon, I would not have needed surgery. I along with my doctor at mercy west are reporting this hospital to the Ohio department of health. Please anyone reading this, if you have an emergency avoid any Bethesda hospital. Go to Mercy, where you'll experience actual compassion and an emergency room that actually knows how to prioritize people based off symptoms. Really disappointed in the lack of care and complacency of the Bethesda north receptionist and every one in the emergency area.

The staff was great and that is the only nice thing I can say. This hospital needs to work on logistic management of patient flow and surgeries. A patient shouldnā€™t sit in a hospital room waiting for days to have surgery. It is bad for the patients health and a waste of insurance money. This score is not reflective of the staff in all departments that did their best - it is a reflection of the upper management and the individuals who make the decisions. Also - the security of patients is an issue. When a patient can walk independently all over the hospital without even being questioned that is amazing!! Very disappointed with the experience

So I went to the ER because my 18 month old had stomach ache and diarrhea, it may not seem serious but he had this for 2 weeks and I was suspecting internal bleeding because of the color of his stool. We went with the diaper there so they can check it for blood whic im sure it was. We spent 4 hours there, then they apparently checked the stool just taking a tiny paper and taking a small amount of it, (any normal person knows that when you check for blood in stool you check all of it it could be anywhere ) Well, when the doctor came to see my child she just said, there was no blood (of course it came negative, you took a tiny paper to take a sample) and she said baby seemed okay, so we were good to go. Clearly they donā€™t know how to treat children, a toddler can be in pain and still be playing. I felt discriminated because we are on Medicaid, I bet if I was paying for the service they would have checked him well. Dont come here go to Childrenā€™s !!!!

Last week I had my second baby at Bethesda North. I had my daughter in 2020 and my second son in 2022. I cannot stress enough how happy I am with both of my experiences there. Every single doctor and nurse I came across in labor and delivery and then my stay there was amazing. So friendly and helpful:)

Visited the Er for shortness of breath, was assessed fast, and given a room pretty quickly too. All the nurses & staff were very nice and friendly and made me feel at ease. Definitely the hospital I trust over some of the other choices around. Thanks so much for the awesome and prompt care! Itā€™s so nice to be able to breath again!

I spent a whole day (over 12 hours) waiting in the front lobby for a family member who had surgery that day, to be moved to a room. A large orange sign read ā€œMasks Requiredā€ so to help with the spread of germs. Why would they care about germs when their own caregivers donā€™t even disinfect them wheelchairs after each use? I notice that there were some on second shift doing it but not a one on first shift. Then, I never noticed anyone enforcing that masks mandate. Whatā€™s up Bethesda?

Avoid this place at all cost. The amount of neglect by the majority of the staff is staggering. I have no doubt my Grandma would be dead or seriously injured if we were here 12+ hours a day. They got 2 stars for the heart surgeons. They were amazing. But when the staff keeps asking someone with memory issues about there care, instead of reading the chart, there's a problem. When the staff never gives meds on time, there's a problem. When a patient accidentally pulls an IV out and it takes the TWENTY MINUTES for them to respond to the call button(to someone on blood thinners) That is utterly ridiculous!!!!! But if they don't step it up she's never gonna get well enought to leave.

My mother in law went on Monday and was there until Thursday for dehydration and a UTI. In that 4 days she did not get wiped down or bathed. They did not sweep the floor or clean anything until the 4th day. The nurses were kind and understand they are short handed but maybe the hospital should not be firing people over being vaccinated. Its ridiculous and is causing our loved ones to suffer.

My friend had alcohol poisoning almost died instead of trying to save her life the nurse was worried about other things that was not even happeningā€¦the nurse then would lie say she woke up and was using the bathroom and lied and said she was calling other people I went to visit her just to see if she really did wake up the nurse lied and said she was awake but still drunkā€¦come to find out when my friend finally got to leave NONE OF THAT WAS TRUE!!! They called her mother in Florida lied everything going slanderd my name and my friends name and so much more! Then when I went to ask the nurse why she lied some guard who just kissed her off to the side came running up threatening meā€¦I left in fear of my life! This hospital is the most ridiculous place I have ever been toā€¦the nurse needs to learn her job! And do itā€¦someone needs to clean this hospital up! Because within this she lied about medical records and all witch was never supposed to be discussed with ANYONE but herā€¦.they will learn when this law suit comes but highly suggest NOT GOING TO THIS HOSPITAL!!!!!

I love this hospital so much. They actually manage pain, most hospitals Iā€™ve been to donā€™t seem to want to give you any pain medicine (before or after surgery not talking about prescriptions!) But every time I have been here I have not had to fight to be able to get medicine. I have extreme social anxiety & anxiety in general & can go into full blown panic attacks at the thought of being put under but they will literally hold your hand and even though I am 28 and have 3 kids, I almost tear up because thatā€™s exactly what I need as a patient. They are also able to see when their patients are in a situation like that and will immediately do something to make you feel comfortable. So you can bet theyā€™ll take excellent care of you, if they can take care of a big baby like me! šŸ˜† Today I had a nurse ā€œKarenā€ (I am sorry, she is the only name of the nurses I had today that I could remember but Karen and all them were amazing!) & my doctor was ā€œDr.Palmerā€ & she is the one who held my hand right before going out. I really needed that! She became one of my favorite doctors ever after that along with Dr. Roth. (I had my third child there too and I wish I would have had all my kids there!! Just saying the maternity care is top notch to me as well!) I could brag on them all day so Iā€™m going to end it here and say definitely give them a chance! They may just end up being your ā€œgo-toā€ place for any medical and youā€™ll most likely find one of your favorite doctors here too.

I would give the ICU staff and doctors, especially the doctor a negative number if possible. Never take your loved one to this uncaring, unprofessional place. Sunday 12/12 my mom was given 2-3 days to be released to Monday 12/13 she only had a ventilator as a choice to live. No family member was allowed in. The dr told us ā€œwe could come in when she was receiving chest compressions ā€œ. It is inhumane and cruel how arbitrarily this hospital & doctors decide without any advocate for patient to make life & death decisions. My mom passed at Hospice on Thursday 12/16 with family, on her terms not the way these so-called medical professionals tried to dictate for her. My only hope is the ICU dr feels the agony of watching from afar as her mom goes through what my mom did.

Worst experience ever. I was a young kid when I was last here during the pandemic and I was having stroke like symptoms. I was scared. My parents were scared and the staff was nothing short of condescending. My parents werenā€™t allowed to be with me while I was stroking out due to COVID (I understood this) but the staffs behavior and their judgement towards my family when they wanted to transfer me to childrenā€™s was more traumatizing then the actual reason I was there and that says a lot. Paramedics were INCREDIBLE, but I will never go to this hospital again.

We were here over Christmas with my daughter. We did have one good nurse but overall the experience was horrible. Had to ask for a charge nurse because she was not being taken care of properly. They finally released her a blockage in her intestines but she was doing these weird muscle spasms when they sent her home. We were home 2 hours and we had to come back where her whole body was locked up and it looked like she was having seizures. We came back in and the lady at the er was just absolutely awful. She also wrote a not accurate report in her chart. They pulled up her test that they had taken earlier in the day and told us to go back and wait in waiting room she was fine to wait. She was not. We left and took her to Uc. Who took her back immediately as soon as they saw her symptoms. They had completely deleted all of her electrolytes and Uc said she was close to having a stroke. She was 19 years old. She was in pretty bad shape. Now we are here again with my brother and here we are he is a terminal cancer patient and in terrible pain and they were 4 hours late on his pain meds because they said they couldnā€™t get them from this side of hospital. What does that even mean. He was screaming in pain. This was crazy. Nurses donā€™t seem to care at all and right now as I sit in this room they are outside the door talking about all the other patients and not good. This is not ok care. I used to recommend this hospital but itā€™s just not ok anymore. Sad this is what patient care has come to. I will say todays visit in the er was good doctor wise but the nurse were all uncaring. I donā€™t know if it because they are all over worked but itā€™s still not ok.

The WORST ER hospital. Do not go to this hospital if you have an emergency. The nurses and doctors there are more worries about talking to each other about their day then seeing patients. I don't even understand how they are still opened. You could be laying in one of their rooms dying and not a single person at that hospital would care. They will all probably be too busy laughing at something they said to even notice. Absolutely terrible

One star due to the receptionist staff. Rude. I understand the horrible 1 visitor rule even when their critical condition. But for them to turn us down and we sit and wait while the mother goes in for the visit we hear them gossiping and laughing. Loudly. With co-workers. In your line of work maybe you shouldn't be so loudly joyous while many people are in the SAME room worried and grieving.... Not allowed to see the loved one they came to see. Your staff up front needs a sentimental course obviously.

If you want to sit in a emergency room where your alone for 9 hours in pain find out all your test results on mychart cry because no one has came in to check on you in 5 whole hours come here. I have a cyst on my ovary thatā€™s hemorrhagic got there at 3:30 didnā€™t leave till 12 they gave me pain medicine last 5 min we were there handed me discharge papers and walked out without explaining blood test, ua , or even the internal and external ultrasound. These nurses clearly donā€™t care about anyoneā€™s life. I had dr.Ryan matley(never came in) and Greg burns (came in one time to basically tell me Iā€™m not in any pain) the only one that seemed to care at all was Melissa Thurman.

I would like to express a HUGE THANK YOU to Dr. Martin and the team that assisted him for my procedure. He and his team were friendly, efficient and informative while I was with them. Dr.Martin was especially kind as despite his very busy schedule, he went above and beyond to make sure he was able to accommodate me. I would also like to thank the nurses on the fourth floor who took care of me during my stay. They were all kind, friendly, accommodating and caring and kept me informed regarding test results, scheduling, etc. THANK YOU!!

Cardiovascular Surgeon Dr. Brunsting, his assistant Tiffany, and his entire surgical staff at Bethesda North Hospital are one of the best cardiovascular surgical teams in the tri-state area. Thanks to Dr. Brunsting, the mitral valve in my heart was completely repaired, I was able to recover in about three weeks, and I was able to return to work four weeks from the date of my surgery! In addition, I want to acknowledge the entire staff in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). They kept me comfortable, clean, and made me feel right at home! All caregivers treated me so well, and they also took care of Theodore (my bear)! Here is a list of those that made my 8-day stay so perfect: Brennan Goeppinger, Heather Ober, Sarah Lueke, Alisa Casile-Palazzolo, Marcie Michael, Laura Huesman, Lindsay Shepherd, Madija Sandy, Laura Williams, Alex Kowal, Kathy Hope, Sarah Jamison, and Brittni Knox. (I apologize if I left anyone out). I wanted to leave a 6-star rating, but Google would only let me have 5 stars!

My top surgery (ftm) was performed here last week by Dr Steven Robinson, and I have to say that was the best medical care experience I've ever had. Nurses Holly and Michael were friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and primarily concerned with my comfort and well-being during my stay. My anesthesiologist (whose name escapes me) was also a peach. I can't recommend their bedside manner enough. As for my surgery results, wow. I've been in more pain after a root canal. My incisions are clean and attractive, and I feel great. I might send flowers.

My husband was recently admitted to the Clinical Diagnostic Unit for observation. We were cared for by an excellent nurse, Kylee. She was personable and had an ease with patients. She also made sure as patients we felt informed. When we had questions about why certain drugs were being given or test results, she offered to find out and she did. A nurse who cares about patients.

The level of service from the front of the hospital to the patient rooms and ICU was amazing. Thanks to the parking staff, information desk, doctors and nurses especially Dr. Mock and his team for the awesome care that was given to my family member.

This is the most uncaring, rude hospital I have ever encountered. The only nice or even caring person was the surgeon who actually took time to explain to our family what was going on. She is the only reason this place gets any more than the one star it deserves. I'm truly sorry for whoever has to bring their family members or loved ones here.

I had a miscarriage and was bleeding quite heavily. I had the misfortune of going to this location for help because it was the closest to me. I honestly wish I hadn't. Not only did they take a some time to assist me but this male doctor walks in, lifts my blanket and starts pressing into my belly without any warning. The bills afterward were ridiculous. I received 3 or 4 different bills so I don't even know what. Their billing department offered no help. I got the run around stating that the coding department would be getting back to me. I paid the bill. Went back for follow up and received little to no sympathy for my loss. I should've stayed home and suffered. I know people who've been here and don't state good things about this place but it was the closest to me so I felt like I had no choice. I will NEVER go back to any Tri-Health location for medical help.

My delivery of my baby was great! The whole entire team is friendly, supportive, and did everything they could to ensure I was comfortable during my hospital stay.

Amazing hospital. Iā€™ve had to come here for several personal emergency needs over the last two years and each time I left feeling great, with the answers and support that I needed. The food was pretty good too

My husband was recently here for cardiac surgery. When they scheduled him for surgery, we met with the pre-op teaching staff who explained what he would be going though and how to prepare for the surgery and the recovery process. The morning of his surgery, the pre-op staff were very helpful in making him comfortable and not be anxious. The CVICU staff was excellent!! They truly cared about him and wanted to make sure they provided the best care for him. I would highly recommend this facility.

The emergency room nurse was cold and unfriendly. The doctor was not kind either. The only decent person was a nursing student. I hope he gets a job somewhere else. My stepdad is sick and has been treated horribly by that hospital.

If youā€™re below the age of 35, I highly recommend you try going somewhere else first before going here. I guess I donā€™t have top tier insurance or something because I definitely felt excluded. They collected a sample from me only to pretend they were going to call me back. I waited three hours and was told to wait 2-3 more hours for a bed. They did not consider my issue as urgent even though it was. They took everyone back for blood samples except me. I am never going here again.

All the staff has been amazing! Dorian and Olivia on the labor and delivery floor were wonderful nurses and went above and beyond and made my delivery a wonderful experience. I had to come back 2 weeks later and currently am back on mother and baby floor but was on labor and delivery and got to see Dori and Olivia again and they are just so wonderful and some of the best nurses I have ever had! Everyone has been so nice and helpful.

I had knee replacement on May 12th. All of the nurses and the anesthesiologist were so caring (I wish I had gotten their names). I felt truly well taken care of.

My Mom was admitted to B North in the PC unit and one particular nurse, Mimi, was awful. She barely introduced herself before going on a tangent about how bad her morning was and how busy and overworked she was - even admitting that she hadnā€™t made it to another patients room yet to administer her meds. She also later commented that a procedure they were going to do was going to be done bedside because ā€œfrankly itā€™s a lot less work for me (the nurse).ā€ She was not compassionate or thorough and did not treat her patient with dignity - making embarrassing, juvenile comments in front of family. I reported this nurse to Patient Services (I talked to Madeline), who told me she would call me back within a day ā€¦ surprise, nobody has followed up with me.

The most RACIST HOSPITAL Iā€™ve ever encountered. Went here when I was having contractions 2 minutes apart, only to be told wait in the lobby until some one comes out get me, after 30 minutes went by no one came out to take me back to labor and delivery. I had my husband ask the guy at the check in desk what was taking so long and the guy replied ā€œ the nurse is changing someone iv she will be out shortlyā€. 10 more minutes went by and no one came out and to take me back to labor and delivery. My husband and I left Bethesda north in the middle of me being in active labor. Iā€™d rather give birth at home than to ever return to this institution! DO NOT DELIVER AT BETHESDA NORTH IF YOU ARE BLACK/ BROWN! THE STAFF IS RACIST!

Worst experience with TriHealth overall. Went to so many location. Technically each doctor is sending you over to other. Basically no body is treating you and just making money. Past 1.5 year I m struggling with unknown pain and went to so many doctors, went to ER multiple times and nothing helped. Can't even find the root cause of my pain. Still struggling. Pathetic :(

I arrived with chest pains approx. 5:15 pm. The front triage did an ekg and bloodwork within 15 min. GREAT I am waiting in an almost empty waiting room (4) people. Now it is 6:00 and I have not been taken back. They have told me there arenā€™t any beds. At 6:25 I spoke to Jesse the head nurse. She said, Iwas not having a heart attack I will have to wait in the waiting area. She seemed upset that we asked to speak to supervisor, was rude and unhelpful as well unsympathetic to what is happening. My wife asked about how long it would be before I will be brought back. Jesse said I do not know and walked away and did not want to discuss this further. She also said that if you are not having a hart attack and people hovering over you, you will have to wait. It appears that I must have a hart attack in the waiting room, then I will be taken back. If it wasnā€™t for my cardiologist being part of the hospital It is now 6:45and not brought back.
