We had staff dinner last night. It was nice ambience. The wagyu bbq was delicious I mean all the foods they are serving was great. The staff was good they are so fast esp when we have additional orders. Highly recommended 💖💖💖

We had a unique experience at this authentic Japanese restaurant that serves hot pot. Decided to go for the set menu that includes 2 types of broth, Australian Wagyu beef, salads, edamame and lots of veggies. Definitely worth the money.

Loved all of the delicious food served up. We got a broad range of things to try and all were fantastic. This bill was for 5 people and we left feeling stuffed! And they gave us free fried banana and icecream at the end which was a nice touch. Amazing service too. Will definitely be back!!

So not worth it / detailed review from an asian palate If you’re a foodie or have a good variety of palate or like quality meat - this is not for you. You will be disappointed in this place. 1k for 2 people , around 450+ dhs each for unli grill. There’s 3 tier that you can choose from and we chose the middle one which is 450+ each The service is mediocre, staff is nice but they got the order wrong, we asked for thick cut but were given thin. We asked for us to be one to grill but they served as grilled meat already and etc. staff are kind of unfocused maybe because we went around 11pm? Doesn’t excuse the service tho The quality of food is where it’s SOOOOO disappointing. I’ve reviewed a lot of places with the similar price range but this has been far the worst I’ve ever tried. For this price the quality of meat should be great but it’s meh, even the sauce are nothing special. Can’t imagine you can actually make Japanese food taste meh. You can get better taste, meat quality & service in other places with the amount you’re paying for. Surprised that this has 4.8 rating whereas it does not deserve this rating. Would not recommend nor wouldn’t try again. 1 star since we still got to eat something

We were sited outside since we chose barbecue. Atmosphere was nice with delicious food with soft and tender wagyu beef, amazing salad and good sushi platter. By the way, it was my Birthday and I really enjoyed it. Thank you for the great service guys ✌️🤙

Excellent Japanese food. Taste is really Japanese. All materials are fresh. Today I try ramen, tempura, fried chicken, and sushi. All is delicious. Open at 12:00, noon. If you want to try Asian food, here is very perfect. Staffs service is good. Price is reasonable. There are buffet course too, they are grilled and hotpot. Let come to try.

The second branch of Fujiya restaurant in the city centre. The food was all very tasty and fresh with friendly and attentive staff. The ambience I do prefer in the first Fujiya, it is smaller and cosier. Attaching pictures for reference. Enjoy 😋

Such a nice place for quiet dine in spot. Very intimate. Very Japanese. Food at Fujiya has always tasted good. We had the unli wagyu bbq for 2 (for me and my wife). A lot of sides included in the selection - such as curry rice, miso soup, kaarage, salad, shrimp, wagyu, sushi rolls, and more. And rice of course. Rice is life. Lol... Walking distance from Dubai Mall and from The Address Downtown and Rove Hotel.

Ambiance is so nice. We got wagyu bbq and sushi and lot more, each of our order is on time and served well by Ms. Ivy. Friendly staff. Whole experience is very well recommended.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Fujiya! The food was absolutely delicious. The tamagoyaki (rolled egg omelet) was cooked to perfection, moist and served hot. The chicken in the chicken katsu curry was also moist and cooked just right. My husband opted for the all-you-can-eat hotpot and he loved every single bite of it. The quality of the food and the overall dining experience at Fujiya was great. We highly recommend Fujiya to anyone looking for a great Japanese dining experience.

It really amazing and authentic the food was! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very Japanese style, with small and big decorations and touches. They have the best ranges of authentic Japanese high end wines. Food is exceeding our expectation and portion is really big, even though from menu picture not showing much. We ordered a normal Japanese diner not the popular hpt pot or bbq. Feels like eating at a Japan house indeed.

Very nice authentic Japanese place, the ambience makes you feel like your really in Japan, the food is spot on the hot pot experience was amazing for us and we really enjoyed it. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The price is very reasonable given what you get so highly recommend this place.

Located inside swisotel Near BURJ Khalifa, went there after it was highly recommended on wechat. Car can be parked within hotel by using the valet and the card authenticated by the restaurant. There are two options on the menu hot pot or BBQ. The BBQ price is varying and depends what option you are going for premium wagyu, wagyu or Australian beef. We went with Japanese A5 wagyu which comes with unlimited sides. The beef was really oily and the taste was nowhere near real wagyu beef, which melts in your mouth. The sides were ok but nothing worth raving about. The service was excellent the ambience ok. But the food was not to the standard for the price being charged. Much better option will be mimi kakushi in four season hotel. Will not recommend this place for BBQ atleast, hotpot might be good as all were having this option.

The best and the most delicious Japanese restaurant i found in Dubai. Since they have opened second branch near Dubai Mall, i even just come here to have lunch. The food tastes authentic always the best quality. Staff are cheerful nice girls, the owner has such a great amazing person. I love the atmosphere ( Izakaya style ) they have created here, makes me feel like I am in Japan. Perfect place for casual dining, celebration, friends and family reunion. Favorite place!

What an experience.. the best hot pot in town and you can't stop eating. I can keep counting the dishes .. I ordered the Australian wagyu set .. it comes with sushi / salad / miso soup / the mix of tastes is great that makes you come again and again.. must try

It was my first time eating at “Fujiya Downtown Restaurant” I never expect that this restaurant would have been my favorite place among any others. Undoubtedly the only restaurant that serves you the authentic dish that probably most are looking for. Every food item we tried are delicious, friendly staff and great atmosphere plus unexpected tasty food, the best services, and the perfect place to unwind, the food taste and quality are always great. I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family members. The restaurant services are what get my attention, and the food quality is superb!! Great atmosphere feels like a japanese street ,it is away from the noisy traffic of dubai. Wagyu Meat is a must to order, to truly enjoy the dining experience. There are a lot of choices for you to eat. Very friendly staff and excellent service

We came from Abu Dhabi to eat Japanese food. The restaurant is excluded from busy Dubai, perfect for some private dining and with a nice view. The service from the crews are at high level, making sure that we've got all we need. Food! Yes, the BBQ set that we have ordered have the distinct taste! Cook it and eat it, no need of the dipping sauce. Try to add lemon on the middle dipping sauce, will give you a different flavor🙂. Overall, we will be coming back again! Thank you!

Highly recommend Japanese Resto. I love their spicy miso soup the best and wagyu beef is so tender and juicy. Also they have a very good deal 150 per person for unlimited beef and house drinks (beer and cocktails) specials thanks to Ivy for the amazing customer service 🥰

Superb! Worth every penny, staff were pilite and very fast! Such a wonderful experience, MJ and the guy who was in charge for grilling were very accomodating. all the staff are very efficient!

What a wonderful setting this restaurant!! Cost and very welcoming. Food top notch as usual, Fujiya never cease to amaze us. We had the bbq buffet and were short of nothing. Very attentive and friendly staff. Fast service. Special kudos to our waitresses Donna and Meresa. 10 stars if i could give ❤️

Das Fujiya ist auf dem Grundstück des Swissotel und an einem der Abende waren wir dort Abendessen. Das Restaurant scheint sehr authentisch zu sein, denn es waren viele größere japanische Gruppen vor Ort. Essen und Getränke sind nicht günstig aber natürlich an die Stadt angepasst. Wir hatten uns für Goyza vorne weg, ein Reisgericht und ein paar Fleischsießen entschieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und das Service Personal war auch äußerst nett.

I went here because I love izakayas. The place has a pretty varied menu with izakaya stuff, hotpot, Chankonabe, and bbq. We had the cheapest wagyu bbq set, the spicy tuna roll, and karage. Everything was pretty decent but next time I’d go for the Chanko. Drinks and service were excellent.
