We visited in a Saturday Ramadan night this hidden gem in Al Seef area and we were happy enough to meet one of the most polite waiters we ever met in Dubai the last 4 years that we live and dine in this city, Fayaz. This guy first all, suggested amazing dishes and every thing he suggested was delicious. Congrats to the management team who hired him. We totally recommend the place and we will visit again and again !

it's my first time trying Emirati food and it was really good. We tried grilled squid and grilled Sea bream and it's outstanding. we really liked their tomato sauce so they gave us a take out. We'll definitely visit this olace again and different dishes. love it

Unexpectedly a great place just on the doorstep of the Old Dubai. Great view on the outdoor terrace, friendly service and delicious homemade food. We had chicken stew, samosa, fresh salad, all were delicious. Seafood soup was very tasty just a little bit more of seafood would be a plus.

We ordered king fish biryani n grilled Sheri fish. It was really good and off course all fresh. They served us chickpea dipped in salted water as starter (free of cost) they were warm and tasty. Staff was welcoming despite it was busy. Will definitely go there again. Along with fish they served one pot of tomato based hot fish sauce and man this sauce just lifted up the taste of everything.

Absolutely loved this place! Located at Al Seef, you get a feeling of being in the past, surrounded with the beautiful heritage. The restaurant has an outdoor seating by the creek and has fresh seafood! We got the seafood platter and it was delicious. The weather was perfect and will be even more lovely during the winter.

The outdoor seating area is very welcoming overlooking the waters and boats. It’s best to visit during the day for best sunny vibes. The menu is mostly fish but they also have meat, chicken, and a few vegetarian items. We started with the Ruqaq bread with cheese and it was very crispy and fresh. The grilled shrimps were delicious and well seasoned. The chicken Biryani is a generous portion! The grilled and fried fish were good but they weren’t cleaned inside (guts still in) ! End your visit with luqaimat and Karak tea!

The dinner in this place took me some years back in Dubai's history to experience the ambience and the traditional food. We took a big plate of fish assorti - it was a bit dry still freshly made and tasty but maybe this is the original recipe. The arak tea and the home made dates cake and ice cream were amazing. There were some nice pictures from the old days of Dubai.
