Ambience: absolutely loved the venue. Beautiful place by the beach, very chilled vibe and peaceful. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Food: Excellent. I did not expect such a quality of food from a beach restaurant to be honest and was extremely surprised by the design and taste of the food. Every dish was served to the perfection. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Service: It was good yet there is room for improvement. It was difficult to the get the attention of staff, it seemed that the number of staff weren’t enough . Also the ladies at the reception area can be more friendly and warm. One should always welcome guests whether at home or a restaurant and a person receiving the guests should be the most friendly one but unfortunately the ladies were a bit arrogant which was really a shame . ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Overall: Beautiful place, great food, arrogant staff .

Fine dinning - Ambience: nice overlooking the beach, burj alarab and the pool. but the interior has nothing to do with french riviera.. Food: the starters were delicious except for the crab blu. The chef offers a complimentary tasty truffle pizza as a starter. The main course wasn’t up to expectations compared to the starters Note: they have special kids menu for little ones

One of the few spots that transitioned St. Tropez vibes into Dubai. Lavish pool view that gets so romantic at night with the fire light-illuminated entrance. The food is French authentic with a twist, that transports you to the French coast. Amazing selection of wine and drinks that can satisfy all tastes. Have a walk around to add to you experience. Quite recommended place and secluded spot.

So my friends and I arrived at 1 PM and left happy, oversatisfied, full of impressions, at 9 PM. We started with lunch on the restaurant’s outdoor terrace and ended up on the beach with a spectacular view of the Burj al Arab. Everything we tried was very tasty and the good thing is that you can combine your own meal or you can choose a chef selection up to 7 course. They have a good selection of wines and cocktails and will be happy to recommend the best wine choice with a meal. Go and enjoy!

Had another amazing meal at French Riverera the food is outstanding. The restaurant has been mentioned on Michelin guide for 2023. We had truffle pizzette to start with (complimentary from the chef) Home made olive bread and white crusty bread so good. I am vegetarian so there is quite a bit of choice. I had Ratatouille, it was delicious. My husband had fillet steak with French fries and vegetables with Bourguignon sauce. Desert was Tarte au Chocolate with orange blossom ice cream. Absolutely delicious, my husband has his favourite Pain Perdu (French Toast crème brûlée style with vanilla ice cream. We were also given a complimentary Vacherin Marinated Strawberries, Fresh Basil Ice Cream, Pure Madagascar Vanilla Chantilly and French meringue. Plus tiny warm fresh baked Madeleines. Wow the deserts here are on another level. We had amazing service from Laura (Trainee). Book this restaurant you won’t be disappointed the food is delicious, great wines and amazing service. See you again in September. Wayne and Gail Dunbar (Aberdeenshire)

A French Restaurant which encompasses French Riviera gastronomical dishes in an elegant setting. They even had my all-time favourite dish, la Ratatouille. It was exquisite and the staff was impeccable. You can also go for a walk along the beach after dinner which adds a lovely touch to the whole experience. The Jumeirah Al Qasr hotel is a stunning property. I truly recommend for a date night.

We tried the degustation menu for 600aed and it was excellent ! All the plates are very good so I highly recommend to try it. The only disappointment was the bread, for a French restaurant this is not acceptable, I think it was frozen bread. Please take exemple with Eugene Eugene restaurant that offers one of the best bread in town. Chef and sous chef that come see you at the end is also perfect 👍

We were served by Delore and the service was wonderful. The place was amazing and beautiful as well. One of the dishes we ordered was the Chicken Soup and although it was delicious, the portion was a bit smaller than I would've liked.

Outstanding lunch! Friendly staff greeted us with a warm welcome and a smile right at the first sight. They took care of us during our stay very well, thank you so much! 🎖️Stellar service 🎖️ The menu have a generous selection of seafood and fish. Dishes are very creative with balanced flavours. Special thanks to Maria for recommending us the Octopus dish. Make sure to save some space for the dessert, especially their signature with strawberry and meringue. The complex yet balanced flavour was irresistible even though we were full already. ⭐️ Top food!⭐️ The location couldn’t be better, there is beach right in front of you with a majestic view of the Burj Al Arab to the right and pier to the left. We want to come back again at sunset to get some nice pictures 🏖️Stunning view🌇 Big thank you to the team!

La Plage has one of the most beautiful views of Dubai, set in the Region's nicest resort. It doesn't end here either, as it's the best culinary experience I've had in Dubai so far. There are many so-called high-end so called "Mediterranean" restaurant that claim your dirhams but don't give much in return, it is not the case at La Plage. It started with the welcome and the table we were given, right on the beach in a corner, and with Maria's (our waitress) nice smile, who brought us a truffle pizzette, with compliments of the chef. We wanted to have a light dinner, so we ordered the Beetroot Tartare, it was perfectly cut and topped with a bright green apple-mustard sorbet with a distinct herbal flavor (that we couldn't make out), it was a great start. We also had a Tatin made of onion that was sweet, melty, on a crumbly base perfectly complemented by a Parmesan ice cream that tasted like a good aged Parmesan, not like cream and emulsifiers. It has a silky texture without feeling too fatty. We continued with the heirloom tomato salad, each quarter was peeled and cored, and topped with a cold foam of stracciatella and warm coulis of tomato and basil, where you could feel the pleasant taste of a quality Espelette. This is when I was truly impressed by a Chef who had the skills to turn something as basic as a tomato salad into a masterpiece bursting with flavors, contrasting yet complimentary tastes and incredible umami. The octopus, which is too often rubbery elsewhere was sliced into a tagliatelle, salted with a black olive tapenade and completed with roasted potatoes, and hazelnuts for crunch. Amazing. I asked Maria about the Chef as I was curious to meet such a talented man, and she called him, Mr. Kim Joinie-Maurin grew up in the Sud-Ouest, which made perfect sense, considering the flavors, colors and textures of his menu. A charming young Chef who trained with Robuchon in Singapore and had been with Jumeirah for years, which contributed to honing his skills and express his talent. We finished our meal with a fantastic Poulet Jaune, served with an outstanding wine sauce, that had the mouthfeel of a liquid meringue with notes of oak and vanilla, and a stock reduction or "jus" that was a thick concentration of meaty goodness. La Plage - the place, the people and the food - is culinary poetry.

Not the first time on this restaurant very nice place. If you as amazing the stuff they are not helpful and they don't care about the customer if he is regular or coming every time the drink quality is very bad not the same as last year and when you need something, they are not helpful at all ..

My recent visit to the French Riviera restaurant at Jumeirah Al Qasr hotel was clouded by disappointingly lackluster service that tarnished an otherwise exquisite experience. Despite the alluring setting and captivating ambiance, the service left much to be desired. Even though the restaurant was only 20 percent occupied during our visit, the staff's attentiveness was sorely lacking. Despite the tranquil setting and captivating atmosphere, the staff's attitude was a glaring flaw. Not a single smile or courtesy was extended during our visit. Basic service etiquettes like a simple "thank you" were absent, leaving an air of indifference that suggested the staff didn't wish to be there. My friend, a smoker, had to manage without an ashtray as it was not provided, forcing her to set aside cigarette butts without any assistance or provision from the waitstaff. Furthermore, the ordered burrata salad was simply placed on our table without any offer from the waiters to serve it, a gesture commonly expected, especially in upscale establishments across Dubai. The absence of basic amenities and service etiquette detracted significantly from what could have been an outstanding dining experience. It's regrettable to witness such an elegant restaurant, boasting an awe-inspiring view, fall short due to a glaring oversight in service provision. Extremely disappointed ! Please train your staff on service excellence !
