Overall experience was nice, the amusement rides are exciting. It takes actually 2-3 whole days to explore everything that's in the park. Due to long waiting queues for each and every rides, a lot of time is wasted, hence you end-up skipping rides and shows , and not making use of the amount you pay for complete access. Kids play area and kids rides and sensory friendly play space are all great for the age groups.. It would be good if you make sure your toddler-school age kid is meeting the minimum height requirement before booking all access ticket for them. Because, height restrictions apply on the most exciting rides in the park, kids will be very disappointed, otherwise. I don't know whether there is any seat limit for each day, but for sure , long waiting queues inside for each ride, didn't look like there is any calculation on head for booking..., which was absolutely exhausting.. They have animals and birds to watch too. But, not so many exciting ones. There are adequate food courts, restrooms, nursing areas for mom's , wheelchair access toilets, waiting areas, etc.

Absolutely fantastic, we have a 2 and a half year old and there was plenty for her to do. Nice safe environment, friendly staff, and nice clean park. Thought about giving 4 Star as we were there on a Sunday and come 4.45 some of the areas we're closed, petting zoo etc even though it said closed at 6. We would have arrived earlier if we knew this. Would definitely suggest that Tayto Park review their times and adjust accordingly as we travelled over 2.5 hrs to get there. That was the only minus and because the rest of the visit was fab i will leave a 5 star review!!!!

An amazing, fun filled, theme park, crammed full of literally dozens of exciting and entertaining things to do. Suitable for all ages from 3 to adult. Spotlessly clean indoors and outdoors, high quality food, exciting rides, stunning wildlife and an outdoor free flying raptor display that will have you absolutely blown away. Pack the car, grab the kids. Book your tickets online and go. Thank me later.

What a brilliant day out, my only criticism would be that even though the park closes at 7, from 6 everything starts closing. Junior zone and zoo things close earlier so go there first and work your way back is the best option. Also the annual membership is great value if you think you'll go more than twice a year. Book online as it's cheaper than at the gate.

Immaculate. Well organised and managed. Shame you can’t get a non ride pass though. Ended up spending €33 online to walk around it with the kids. Plenty of food pit stops, seats and toilet areas along the way. Great selection of amusements and rides for the very young to the adventurous. Had a petting zoo and we were able to get close to the lemurs which was a first anywhere! Brilliant. Huge parking area which is also well managed. Last trip here when it has been run by Tayto 😞 Highly recommend the park. Tickets are cheaper online.

Great day out for the family. Something needs to be done about the queues. Minimum one hr wait. @35€ per person, best way to get most from the experience is to arrive by 9am, and stay till closing at 7pm. Providing the weather cooperates. We had donuts, drinks, candyfloss, twisty chips throughout the day, then had dinner in Ashbourne. Would love to know how many tickets are sold per day. A bit crowded for Covid times. The souvenir shop looks a bit sad. Could do with a revamp & some music. The gaming stall was a bit of a farce. A lady ahead of me did not win, but had a child with her & argued with the staff until he gave her a toy.

we were with children 12 and 10 years old. there was enough entertainment for the whole day. we arrived at 10 a.m. there were no queues. after 2 o'clock, there were queues at all the attractions. but it didn't spoil the mood at all. the zoo is wonderful. the staff is excellent. if you are in Ireland with children, be sure to visit this place. there is a great children's area for younger children.

Great day out. Get there for when it opens and there are no queues for the bigger rides. Same from about 5.30 to closing time. Food is OK here and a little pricey but that's to be expected. Take a picnic with you to lower the cost, plenty of picnic benches around. Only fault I had was hand sanitiser. I had tried 4 dispensers before I found one with any in it. Every other one after that was empty. I like to use it after the rides and before eating so maybe worth while carrying a small bottle with you.

We enjoyed to the core. One of the Must visit places in Ireland. My girls loved all the games. Bring in some snacks and water. You need energy to enjoy and to walk around. Enjoy ❤️

Family day out! honestly, some of the lines were crazy and not worth waiting an hour +... Overall, it was really fun. It was €39 per person. You do have full access to all the shows and attractions. Make sure to book online as it's €47 if you pay on the day. We had food at the park and it was very good we had pizza, chicken Goujons and chips. Good value. I love the roller-coaster. it's definitely my favorite!! The viking ride with the water word of warning ⚠️ u will get drenched!! I definitely wasn't expecting it. Also, go as early as u can and stay till closing. Get the full day out of it 🎢🎡

Nice place to hang around with friends. They have so many attractions there in which the Roller coaster being on top. The staffs are super friendly and very nice, especially when it comes with kiddos. They really enjoy helping people. The Zoo they have arranged there have good experienced people who can explain every details about the animals there. The guy explained about the tiger was very happy to share the information and he did it very well. Overall, it's worth a visit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Great day out! Our first time but not last! Arrived at 9.45am , straight to Cu Chulainn , no queue.. went on all the other bigger rides within the hour except the Viking splash. Very little waiting. Everything after that was a bonus. Food was good and reasonably priced. Plenty of areas to have a bite to eat or a picnic. We went on every ride 3-4 times… the only real wait 1h 45m was for the Viking Splash 😬 all in all a great day out for all ages, never left till 7pm. Initially I didn’t think it was worth the money but it is.

Where to be! Clean, fully staffed, sprawling, and inexhaustible options. You'll be going all day and still have leftover rides or events to squeeze in. If you'd like to see the mountain lion or tiger, be patient and wait, otherwise, go back later, but don't miss them. The Viking Adventure has to be the apex attraction, but as you can imagine, prepare for about an hour on the queue. Lastly, don't miss the birds of prey shows! My next book might be about this theme park after my latest: "The Whispering Poet - An Anthology of Igbo & Other Proverbs."

My one-day trip to Emerald Park in Dublin was an absolute blast! From thrilling rides to mouthwatering food, it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of Emerald Park was undoubtedly the rides. The park had a great variety of attractions suitable for all ages and preferences. Whether it was the adrenaline-pumping roller coasters or the classic Ferris wheel, there was something for everyone. The rides were well-maintained, and safety measures were strictly followed, ensuring a fun and secure experience. Now let's talk about the food, starting with the twisted chips. They were a true delight! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned, the twisted chips were a delicious treat that satisfied my snack cravings. They were a unique twist on traditional fries and definitely worth trying. As for the ice cream, it was the perfect way to cool down on a sunny day. Emerald Park offered a wide range of flavors, from classic options like chocolate and strawberry to more adventurous ones like salted caramel or cookie dough. The ice cream was creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor. It was evident that they used high-quality ingredients to create their delectable treats. Overall, my experience at Emerald Park was fantastic. The thrilling rides provided hours of entertainment, and the twisted chips and ice cream added a delicious touch to the day. If you're looking for a fun-filled day with exciting attractions and mouthwatering food, Emerald Park in Dublin is definitely the place to go!

Fabulous day out. We were so well accommodated with our son who has additional needs. They were warm and welcoming. We had queue assistance which made the day a possibility for him. The park has improved so much. The world of raptors show was that good our kids went to it twice. The zoo is better than visiting Dublin Zoo and the Birds of Prey are second to none in the country. A great day out. Will be back.

Tayto park was great with some fun rides (especially the wooden coaster) however there were a lot of school trips there which resulted in a lot of queue jumping on the rides and there was no staff to monitor the lines. Also the covid guideline of wearing a mask in the queue line wasn't enforced so only a max of 5% of people in the queues were wearing mask which was disappointing. Onto the positive. The food was good and reasonably priced, as mentioned there are some fun rides, the zoo was good and in general the park looked great & was very clean. I would recommend watching the bird show and also if there are schools then the rides are busy in the morning but quieter in the afternoon.

Good day out with children. Have done the bird show a few times now and it's always great. The biggest coaster is very fun and there is lots to do for smaller kids with the zoo, park and other smaller rides. Some negatives were the wait times for some of the kiddie coasters is very long for the fun you get out of it, the flight school line was pretty dirty and the drink refill machines didn't have a massive selection.

The map of the park is so confusing, there are no numbers for the rides and overall the park organization could be much improved. The best thing was the Birds show, probably the most fun and interesting one we have ever saw! Compared to other parks, we also appreciated the possibility for the kids to drive small cars in a “driving lesson” attraction and the fully equipped rock climbing attraction

While it is certainly not the cheapest form of fun, definitely one of the best places in Ireland and since years consistent. Great day out for kids and plenty of good rides. The raptor bird show is a must see, amazing.

Always a great day out when the sun shines. Park is clean, plenty to do for 4-6 hours. Queue times can vary depending on the day visiting, but the most we queued was 15 minutes (wooden rollercoaster). Animal zone is always a great place to walk around, and grab a twisty potato crisp.

Great place for all ages I had lots of fun myself, queue’s should be expected (at Least a 10-20 minute wait). Gift shop doesn’t to clothes in bigger sizes for teens and up but it’s not to much of a problem. Lots of fun overall, do recommend.

Very nice amusement park, offering loads of things for kids. Few rides for grownups. Largest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, definitely worth of visit and ride on it. Some of the rides are very short, but good thing is with 35€ ticket you can do all the rides as many times as you want so that the positive thing on the park. We came on not very busy day so we had time to try everything what we wanted and in general very nice day spend there. Worth visiting again and definitely will visit again.

I went with my nephews and niece on a quiet day. It was amazing because we didn't have to queue for more than 10 mins for any ride, including the most popular ones. I think on a busy day, the experience would have been much less. There's a lot to do here, for kids of all ages. The rides are definitely the more interesting part.

Emerald Park proved to be an exhilarating adventure from start to finish. With its diverse attractions, there's something for everyone. The thrilling rides, like the roller coasters were a hit with adrenaline junkies. For those seeking a more relaxed experience, the zoo area showcased an impressive collection of animals. The informative shows and interactive exhibits provided a great learning opportunity for visitors of all ages. The picturesque landscapes and well-maintained grounds added to the overall ambiance. Food options were plenty, offering a variety of choices to suit different tastes. The staff's friendly demeanor and efficient organization enhanced the enjoyment of the visit. While peak times could get a bit crowded, the park's overall layout ensured that lines were manageable. Emerald Park undoubtedly stands as a must-visit destination, promising a day of excitement, entertainment, and fond memories.

We went to emerald park as part of a group with children aged between 3-12 years they all had a great time, there's something for everyone there. The combination of a zoo and theme park makes for a fun day out for all.

Fantastic place to have some fun with family and friends..The scenery around Tayto Park is lovely if you want to relax for bit, to get away from the cool rides..

  • 4/5 Karen O. 7 months ago on Google
I was here once before ( just post covid) when it was still Tayto Park, and it definitely has improved now as Emerald Park. The place looks more like a holiday entertainment park now. The 2 Teens would give this place 5 ⭐️ but for me it's only a 2 or 3 ⭐️ From the management of the carparks to booking in and to the mainly young staff around the place who are positive and friendly it's good. I do love the zoo and the lemurs area and the Birds of Prey, and you can attend a number of animal talks to pass some of the day. There is also a circus on 3 times over the day. We didn't get to that. The fast food was ok. No major queues and at €35 for 3 portions of chicken and chips and drinks, I'd advise bringing a picnic with you. You can get a pass to go out to carpark when u want to bring in your picnic. Small Kids areas are a really big hit. The two teens I had today spent 5 hrs in this park and did 4 or 5 rides. My bug bear as a mammy who doesn't do any of these rides is the cost of admission for me. They need an adult as they are only 15 but It's just so dear charging the same for someone who's not getting on any of the rides - make a base rate for us weak stomach people please !!! Or otherwise include a spa where I can be pampered and get my nails done, or go watch a movie. It needs more covered seating areas, too . Today was very showery, and sheltering under trees isn't ideal. Lot of wheelchair users and elderly there today, they need a nice area for them to shelter and keep dry. The two teens had 50min wait at the major rides and 25 at smaller ones, which I though was just awful, they didn't mind, but for Mammy hanging around for five hrs damp and tired well.....I needs a lie down now. Won't be going back here again if I can avoid it.

Will be forever Tayto park for me ❤️ an amazing experience! Attractions are fun and waits are not too bad. The zoo area is quite nice and surprisingly well equipped. It's hard to pick a favorite attraction, I went to all and they're all great!

Absolutely brilliant day we had with a family of five 🥳💐🎉 from parking until all the rides and animals we had a brilliant day. The staff been so nice even it was pretty busy. Toilet was clean . And the prices for food plain chips and chicken Nuggets was really fair...we just loved it 😄

  • 3/5 Mary R. 9 months ago on Google
There's a lot of amusements ,its €39 euro in for a full day which is a reasonable price . Bathroom facilities are spotless for a big attraction park. They have better hot food available now ,at a reasonable enough price ,ice cream is more expensive . They have refillable soft drinks vending machines . I find the photos are a bit pricey & the stands to win prizes are expensive at €3 each go . But if your into rollercasters a lot it's a good day out . To keep it cheap bring a picnic of your own as they have lockers to store your bags .

We had a great day, as a recommendation for kids try first the small rollercoasters instead of the big one 😁 makes a big difference 😅👍 We got the tickets the same day we went but if you can do a day in advance you will get a discount 😉

A whole day out. Plan and tine coach if your going. If you miss the 6pm one you will have to get 2 coaches back to dublin, lots to do there for all ages for fun! Highly reccomend for adventurous kids. We loved the new viking voyage ride! The food great prices and sizes cheaper than mcdonalds for the family and real chicken! Can reccomend the chicken burgers and tenders 👍

It was fun experience, I loved it so much especially the roller coaster and rotator, it was thrilling, face painting, Vikings, zip line, were other amazing activities, many animals I could explore there which I saw for the first time in the zoo , overall awesome experience, do visit.

  • 4/5 Caroline K. 9 months ago on Google
First time to come and visit. Family of 5 tickets all access €187 online . I would highly suggest you booked online rather getting it on the place that day as it’s cheaper. The day we visited it was raining heavy in the morning , you can buy poncho in the gift shop for €2.50 each so paid €12.50 for us all. So if you think it’s raining the day of your visit just bring your own raincoat or poncho. You will see maps all around. All the junior rides are on the left side , with fairy house , the train ride , if I’m right there are like 12 rides or activity the junior side. There is all a height requirement for kids going in and kids that are unaccompanied also. The junior side have ice cream shop and 2 stalls for playing games and getting teddies on return. The duck game is €6 each but guaranteed you get a toy so spent €12 on it . The ball game €10 didn’t win anything 😂 . Lunch we went to the restaurant. There was a long line for ordering food but the staffs are quick. Only waited till 15 minutes. Food selections was few . I have attached the menu on the restaurant they have kids meal too. Over all we spend €64 for all main meals and drinks family of 5 . The food was lovely And portion was big. But few other options outside for pizza or burger foods too just didn’t know about it till we have reached the right side of the location. Other option too is to bring your own foods and loads of places can sit down and eat or have a picnic with the family. Saves a fortune making your own food. There is a big playground near the restaurant for all ages . But that day the few of the slides on the right side of the playground was close as it’s very warm . Only few slides were open the one shaded part under the tree. Walking around towards the big rides there’s few animals you can see and there’s some animals you can pet too. The time we arrived on the petting area there was only goats as the alpacas were eating. There’s a place you can get in and walk and see a lemur near you. Just no petting and bending down as they are wild animals and they do bit. It’s a quick one but very good for kids to close encounter wild animals and what to do around them to be safe. We were on time for a bird raptors show that was 2:30pm and there were few time slots for it. The staffs were very good and the show last 25 minutes -30 minutes. Few raptors birds were in the show and it was nice and educational. Walking down to the big rides like dino dash , the rotator , vikings and the rollercoaster . We fell into the ball games again and mostly spend a fortune for the games €60 for all that games and didn’t win anything. Loose all the money and had grumpy kids as they didn’t have the big Teddies hopefully they can do a consolation prices for the small kids. Specially after buying so many games. Anyway in vikings we weren’t allowed as my youngest lost her all access band we e were told to go back to the admission. Didn’t bothered as too tired to walk back . Anyway we spend around €350 from tickets , foods and the games stalls. A very expensive day out but for me that day the kids had so much fun . So it’s worth it. There were loads of people as it was a weekend probably quieter on a weekend . They have membership option probably can check out as probably can save fortune if you wanna come to the place all the time. Staffs are all very nice and doing a great job! I more like the name tayto park tho than emerald park.

Well what we should expect from a park with a potato mascot??? Just Brilliant. The roller coaster was amazing and the zoo part is really quite that u can hear the animals on the space. Really worth the money. And you get free crisps at the end. :)

It's hard to enjoy when waiting time in the que is 1h30min 🤦‍♀️ especially for children. There must be either fewer people or more attractions. But this is just a business... Nobody cares about it. Park is nice and beautiful.

It’s worth saying that we did visit on a rainy day, and our group was likely older than the intended audience, but for us this was a touch underwhelming We knew that the park was going to be fairly small and aimed a younger guests, but even still the whole park was fairly basic and felt weirdly dated (even though it’s barely a decade old) It was a fun experience still, and was fun to see all the Tayto stuff, but with the collaboration with Tayto ending soon I’d see very little reason to return

Excellent day out for little kids and those big kids amongst us. We went as a family day out with our grown up children and grandkids. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting all the animals on show and then there was multiple thrills on the rides. Although it was a cooler day we still enjoyed our day out. Only disappointment was the closure of the food stalls at 4pm when a cup of tea or a snack would have been much welcome. Be aware prices in the gift shop are a little on the high side. The layout and landscaping is beautiful. We travelled from the North and it was easily located.

Park does seem like it has nice facilities however it was well beyond capacity for anyone to enjoy. Minimum 30 min wait for most rides and at least 40-50 for some - not fair on little kids to have to wait in queues like that (none of which were socially distanced either). Based on ticket price the capacity should be lower for kids to actually enjoy. Trick or treat trail was good with the actors doing a great job helping on the clues

What an amazing place to go and have some family fun. There are lots of rides for both adults and children. There are several rollercoasters, and the junior area has plenty of things for young children. They also have a Zoo which is great, and the bird show is really cool! And the petting zoo is cute. There is also a circus show that is worthwhile! They have plenty of places to have food around the park.

Best weekend gateway… really enjoyed visiting this place. Avoid weekends visit to keep waiting in Q . Wooden Rollercoaster is best in class. Safety followed at every step. Supportive staff. Zoo is nice , kids will enjoy that.

Great experience ever, went as a group to the tricky trail and Tayto after dark. I would definitely recommend to make a memorable trip. Staff are friendly and helpful. Now the only down fall is. They should allowed the options to buy the games booth. As other theme park I’ve been allowed it to keep kids happy. And for parent not to see their children upset for not being able to win them a stuff bear after 3rd game. On Food .. 😱 OMG.. burger are amazing and price is affordable. I highly recommend for tourists to come to the attractions. And last wish Tayto characters had some sort of parade to say goodbye to the kids and guests as the night falls before closing with fireworks . Last when leaving the park you’ll get a free bag of Tayto.

Tayto Park is one of the best amusement park in Ireland, I love the most. It's a brilliant place to go with family, friends and especially for teen agers. You will definitely enjoy the rides, the playing area for small kids, the train ride, the zoo and many more. Very busy place, better to book online. A lot of parking spaces. No parking fee. Highly recommended this place to everyone who visited Dublin.
