This place is really good! Me and my partner went there few days ago and it was absolutely great! The food was great, the service was good too. We took the seafood soup as starter. Absolutely delicious. Then the cottage pie. It was good too. Probably too much for a single person. I suggest to take a cottage pie to split with someone else, because it's flavour is really intense after a while and it's really big! Probably we will come back, but definitely we will suggest this place to our friends.

Food is ok but a bit overpriced. Moreover, the staffs knew that you were not going to order dessert after you finish the meal, they gave the bill immediately to my table, it seemed we were invited to leave. When we were paying the bill, the lady asked for tips and we did not do it, she looked mad and made us uncomfortable. We are not having a meal in NA, and it was my first time asked for tips when having a meal in Europe, ridiculous. The attitude of this lady was very rude and improper, she shouldn’t treat people like that.

In my opinion, Quay’s should be up there with Temple Bar in terms of things to experience in Dublin. The service is outstanding, the environment is warm and authentic, and the food is beyond amazing. When you order make sure you’re hungry, as you get seated fast, the portions are generous and you can expect food to arrive at your table within just a few minutes. The proximity to other popular attractions makes this a great place to stop in for any meal. We liked it so much we came in twice in two days, ordering the salmon and spinach pasta each time. The seafood chowder and garlic bread were also to die for. Highly recommend to those looking for delicious Irish food in a comfortable setting.

It's my favourite pub in Dublin, I really love it! It's a traditional Irish pub in the heart of Temple bar. The atmosphere is nice, excellent live music, crowded all the time, but it's a great experience. The best option in the zone.

Great find in the Temple Bar. So good we’ve been twice, & the food was awesome both times. Fresh, hot & delicious, huge portions, & wait staff that are constantly on the move. Lively pub with tons of atmosphere, the bar side is more fun than the kitchen side.

It was my first time trying Irish food 🍀 Our server was so great! He was so welcoming and offered suggestions and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our first Irish meal 🇮🇪🥘 we ordered the cottage pie 🥧 the flavoring in the meat was delicious! The potatoes were so smooth. We also ordered the Dublin coddle. It was also very delicious. It was like having stew, potatoes and sausage all in one! Comfort food 100%>

A pizza for one person with a Peroni beer € 16, I thought it was a robbery (located a street from Temple bar) A place hunts tourists 🤷🏻‍♂️ Clarification, it looks like a large pizza, but it was a small pizza with many cuts and very thin, that barely had cheese. I do not recommend it at all

Amazing Irish Food. Prices are okay for the big dishes. Dishes take a little time because all of them are fresh made. All tastes amazing. Nice and polite Staff. Nice atmosphere. If you visit Dublin you have to come here and eat😊

Service was good and everything came out quickly and hot however not very good. Out of all the lamb stews I’ve had in Ireland this was the worst one. Husband’s cottage pie was not good either, vegetables still weren’t cooked and the gravy didn’t have much flavor. The seafood chowder was good though and I am not usually a fan.

The bangers n mash over the Irish stew was AWESOME. And, their bread pudding was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Quick service. Great experience.

Good food. The lamb shank was very delicious. It was recommended by a waitress when I asked her which dish I should try for the first time in Dublin. The total cost including a pint of Guinness was EUR31.55

Amazing place to have a good Irish dinner. It is a bit small and thus often crowded but the food is delicious and there is a wide range of choice. I strongly recommend to try the cottage pie for true comfort food. The service was kind and lively, price was average. We really enjoyed our dinner.

Touristy, Ioud, crowded. Few Irish people. But it's all inevitable in a place located in Temple Bar and having such a high standard of service

Live Irish traditional music every day makes the pub attractive to both locals and tourists. Food is great, but personnel is rude. We've been here two times. The first time in March right after COVID restrictions were lifted, everything was great. Came again in May, closer to tourist season, because of too many people, it looked like personnel don't care about quality of service.

First off: Super expensive Beer! Charging €8,80 for a pint is just ridiculous. And nowhere is there a drinks menu, stating the price of a pint. More expensive than Octoberfest in Munich. Secondly: The food is great and the staff is very attentive, friendly and all in good mood. Food prices are average. Just please reduce the beer price! For this reason I give 4 stars. €160 for 3 people dinner.

As always, Guinness on tap was amazing as with most pubs here in Ireland. Only in for a quick visit and drink but great looking vintage bar, like something out of Peaky Blinders film set! Friendly staff and locals, next visit to Dublin will have to see me in here for a bit longer!

  • 5/5 Maya E. 4 years ago on Google
Very nice music, thats what got us there, as we can hear it from the street. So kept coming again and again. Only bad side is they don't serve food in the pub, so had to go somewhere else and come back again. Best Irish music ( all the bands were good) in Temple bar

  • 5/5 Tim B. 4 years ago on Google
The fish and chips are outstanding, but the sirloin is okay. The sirloin is just as good as the US from a cheaper place. Other than the steak, this place has the best food in the city!

Great pub for fun! Always good live music. But is expensive (the entire area is!) and be REALLY CAREFUL WITH YOUR BELONGS always. Including bags hang on your neck or shoulders. Just DON'T TRUST. Double attention in busy days, like bank holidays, st Patrick's, fridays night etc. Someone can easily open your bag, steal your things and you won't even feel it.

Love this Bar/restaurant! Welcoming and helpful staff. Took their menu items and asked them to tweek it (as we are fussy eaters) and they did so. Food was beautiful and atmosphere relaxed and homely. I don't mind taking my kids here but wouldn't consider it at other places. Highly recommended and very reasonably priced.

  • 2/5 Pablo E. 2 years ago on Google
Not impressed at all, food was okayish, but the place requires better management; I appreciate that hospitality industry is struggling to hire staff these days, but most, if not all of the team, appeared to be randomly picked from the street, clearly ZERO experience in waiting on patrons, or perhaps even visiting restaurants themselves. Yes. Shocking. Avoid.

I wasn't able to listen to traditional Irish music because the musicians had already finished their work, but I'm sure it would have been a Great experience. I'm giving it 4 stars because the waiter, even though I told him I wanted to hear live Irish music, he seated us, made us order and then, when I asked about the musicians, he told me that they would play anymore that day.

Myself and my husband ate in your bar yesterday my husband got the lamb irish stew and I got fish and chips there was a supplement of €1.50 for the mushy peas which should be included as the dish is €16.95 it was on the lunch menu before 6pm at €14.95 as we were there at 5pm we should have only been charged the €14.95 but we were charged €16.95 there was hardly anything in my husband's stew and the broth was very gelatinous the food was also out within 5 minutes of ordering it so nothing was fresh we will not be returning the only positive was the waitresses serving us she was very friendly

The Wolfpack almost missed this gem of a restaurant / bar serving traditional Irish food and local beer. But because of the warm smile . beautiful eyes and outgoing personality of their hostess Gamze , we found what we were looking for and more. During my recent stay in Dublin, I visited the Quays Pub for a meal and a drink. The location of the pub was very convenient, as it was close to my hotel and easy to find. Upon arriving, my friend and I were seated upstairs and were immediately served by the friendly staff. However, we were warned that the kitchen was due to close in 15 minutes, which made us feel a bit rushed. We hurriedly made an order and the food and drink we received were delicious. I had the Irish stew and Guinness, which were both very tasty, and my friend had a soup and salad. However, I made the mistake of having a heavy meal so late at night, which resulted in a sleepless night almost. This was definitely not the fault of the pub, but rather my own poor judgement. As we didn't stay long, I didn't get a particularly strong impression of the pub. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but it was clear that they were getting ready to close for the night. Overall, while my experience at the Quays Pub was decent, it wasn't particularly memorable or noteworthy. However, this may be due to my own fatigue and hunger at the time. In summary, if you're in the area and looking for a pub to grab a meal and a drink, the Quays Pub is a decent option.

Great pub with awesome Irish food. We went for dinner on a Tuesday about 6:30 and were able to be seated right away. Being located in Temple Bar, it started to fill up shortly after. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had a smoked salmon, prawn and spinach pasta and a bowl of seafood chowder. My daughter has the cottage pie. Both were fantastic!

Place was packed on a Wednesday night! Bar service was great and beers were delicious. Food menu was vast, and wish it wasn’t too late or I would have ordered some! Atmosphere was great! Nice crowd, live music, and plenty of seating. Check this place out! Get here before 8pm if you want to have a place to sit and eat.

  • 3/5 K L. 5 months ago on Google
The food was delicious and the live is music is definitely a bonus. However, the waiter spilled a entire tray of beers down my back and did not apologize. We also had to request for napkins to clean the floor in order to prevent someone from slipping and falling. Overall, the food and the atmosphere is great but it would have been nice for the staff to be more apologetic for wasting an entire tray of beers on a customer.

We wanted to try traditional Irish food while on our visit to Ireland. This place did not disappoint. There was a wait to be seated but it did not feel long at all. You get nicely sized portions for the price and it tastes great. I also enjoyed the atmosphere and decor giving it that traditional feel.

  • 5/5 Monty E. 6 months ago on Google
For starters, garlic bread is a must, and then you want to add some of their seafood chowder . That combo is a hit, and then you can add what you want, but if you pick the fish and chips, that will be a good pick, or their shepherd pie, chips are also good and crispy, so overall, this is a good place for some beer and food.
