Got a late booking here recently for a party of 4. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken wing with beef for starter. Very rich, hearty dish. The standout for the starters was the pate with beetroot jam. For the main I chose the beef wellington as a friend is somewhat of a wellington aficionado. It didn't disappoint. My partner had the cod which received no complaints. Wine list was a little short but we chose a delicious bottle which hit the spot. It was not overly busy on the night but service was still very good. We were never rushed and plates were cleared appropriately. Price was very reasonable. Another bonus is the restaurant is right next door to arguably the best pint of Guinness in Dublin. (Mulligan's) Overall we were very impressed and will definitely be back.

All the dishes we tried were wonderful. Make sure you are hungry because the portions are huge! The beef and the chowder were some of our favorites. Make sure to book in advance, the place is very small, but it is worth it.

There are only few seats in this restaurant, and I was very lucky to get a bar seat without booking. (So remember to book! But also feel free to walk-in and ask :)) Service is really great they are very kind. Food is amazing although it seems that they've made adjustments to their menus (comparing to photos on Google). The dessert is a bit sweeter than I expected but still very lovely. Overall, I would definitely revisit if I have a chance to come to Dublin again!

Such a little gem. Made a reservation and it did not disappoint. They seat exactly for the time, so no need to arrive early. The meal is so delicious and well thought out and full of flavour. Lots of locals frequent this sweet little spot and the restaurant is vibrant with amazing energy. 10/10 would recommend.

Very small and unassuming restaurant but the food is amazing. Very hearty and soulful, perfect for autumn when we went. €40/pp is unbelievable value for the quality you get. Highly recommend! Booking in advance is a must.

A must for dinner. Make a reservation now. Small place with attentive service and kitchen in the rear. Started with Guinness bread with fennel butter. The menu changes and we were lucky enough to have the Cajun chowder which was like a gumbo with a lot more fish, to start with a gluten-free prawn risotto with fresh parsley, cheese and tomatoes. Very flavorful and creamy risotto. Limited wine menu, although the Tempranillo was a delight. On another note the owner Sean nicely squeezed in our party of three. A d we enjoyed his varied Spotify playlist. We are looking forward to coming back on our next visit to Dublin!

A fine dining restaurant that combines sophisticated original fusions with Irish flavour. Everything was very tasty, it was an interesting taste journey! It is definitely an original place. A cramped restaurant with a few tables, lots of paintings, and an open kitchen from which the smells and hot air from cooking come. I was surprised when the waitress brought the bill when we were still eating and said we had 15min left to leave, as they had another reservation after us. In a restaurant of this class, where prices start at 60eur per person, this is unacceptable. It is certainly not a place where you can sit, talk and quietly enjoy the cuisine. All in all, it is a place of a very high culinary standard that lacks space and time comfort.

Cozy and cute little restaurant with great service and delicious food! We went there to celebrate my birthday and we had an amazing time. You get a super tasty 3 course meal. Service was very good, toilets were clean. Loved the place and highly recommend it!

Just chose this place on a whim and absolutely loved it. The wait staff were amazing, and the food was so tasty. Keep in mind its more of a price fixed menu with various options for how many courses you receive. Knocked a star off because the portions are heavy/dense, which is great in some cases but it makes a three course meal nearly impossible to finish. That and there is a really strict seating capacity. You will likely have to book in advance, or if you walk in, be prepared to stick to your timeline! Still would HIGHLY recommend for a nice evening out!

Cute little place with BYOB! Reservation is necessary if you're going in for dinner as this place is so popular. Food is absolutely fantastic. I have had few Christmas parties here and you can bring your own booze.

Great restaurant close to the city center of Dublin. Very good value for Dublin prices. Cozy environment, casual decoration, great service and fantastic food. Without a doubt a hidden gem.

We walked into this unassuming looking restaurant for an early dinner only to be given a gastronomical treat. Fine dining at affordable price. We love this little place and will be back again. Thank you Andreas & staff.

This was one of the best meals I've eaten in Dublin. We had the surf and turf and it was stunning. I've been waiting years to get a table here and it was worth the wait. Really good service too. And the nosy part of me enjoyed watching the kitchen in action. I also really liked that there's an option to have Irish coffees instead of desert. Nice touch.

The seafood chowder was very tasty. A big portion for a starter. I couldn’t manage a main course after that. My partner had the duck and it was tender and had barely any fat on it. The accompanied gravy went along well with the duck and potatoes. The staff was attentive despite being very busy. Reservation is needed as the place is quite small and very popular it seems. I would go back for more chowder, should I return to Dublin one day.

Made reservations for my SO’s birthday during our visit to Dublin. The place opened up at 6pm and filled up pretty quick. You have the option to do the 2 course meal or the 3 course meal with dessert. By the end of this meal, I was so stuffed I couldn’t do dessert. I got the seafood chowder as my starter and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. My second course was the beef fillet, which I enjoyed but I was still thinking about that seafood chowder. My SO got the lamb shank as his entree and said it was super good. Would highly recommend this place. Staff was also kind and welcoming.

Absolutely mammoth portions of really tasty food. I could honestly bathe in the seafood emulsion that came with the plaice dish. You will roll out of here and it's reasonably priced for what you get. Its not pretentious at all and the staff are lovely. It's nice that the kitchen is open too.

We were lucky enough to get a table here at short notice. Staff were very attentive. There is lots of interesting artwork to look at as well as being able to see into the kitchen. Although the space is small you don’t feel like you are being squashed by the next table. The warm brioche roll and duck butter was delicious, we enjoyed our starters and the surf and turf was excellent - there was plenty of fish and the meat was cooked perfectly. We had the mango dessert and the cheese to finish, both were ok. Maybe we were just too full at that stage!

My girlfriend and I had an incredible meal here. I had the risotto to start, the beef wellington for main and the half baked chocolate cake for desert, all 10/10. My girlfriend had the salmon roulade with caviar which was unbelievable. Staff super friendly as well and the bill was very reasonable!

We had a WONDERFUL time here. Highly recommend. They have 3 nightly dinner seatings with a 3 course menu for 65€. Lovely and kind staff. An intimate setting where it felt like we were having dinner with old friends. Our meal was well paced and delicious. Thank you! ❤️🫶🏻 NOTE: Important to read the booking info and understand that you cannot sit for hours finishing your drinks. We had to listen to an entitled group before us berate the staff for reminding them that their time was up AFTER 2 HOURS. Shameful! 😡

My partner and I had an AMAZING dinner here while staying in Dublin for vacation! Cosy ambiance, great food, and wonderful service. Portions were huge but well priced for the quality of them! Restaurant is very small so I recommend booking reservations beforehand. It is a hidden gem and we loved it, we will be coming back if are ever back in Dublin!

Great eating out experience next door to Mulligans, great pop art on the walls coupled with great music playing all night to match the art. Chowder was amazing and a meal in its self. Tomahawk for two was superb and cooked perfectly! This was a first visit but long overdue, will be back!

The best dining experience I have ever had in Dublin. The food was absolutely incredible, portion sizes absolutely huge, the service was second to none, all 3 of the staff were so friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself & its decor is so unique and helps create an overall perfect vibe. I can't speak highly enough of the vintage kitchen and I can't wait to return.

The team were attentive without being overbearing, the food really was impeccable. We were a table of 6 and every plate was amazing. Fully recommend a visit here. You'll definitely go back for more. Thank you team 🙏

Such a beautiful and quaint restaurant. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary here.. The food. Holy F. SO GOOD. We got risotto, hake, pork belly, and chocolate cake. We were happy stuffed little piggies after.

We had a booking for Saturday night for 2 hours slot as a party of 4. As a slow eater, 2 hours felt quite rush to be able to enjoy the whole set menu. Even though the portions were generous and the food was delicious, the prices are a bit expensive. My personal favorite was risotto and the hake fish. The meat was decent.

A cozy restaurant with friendly and warm staff. The food was excellent, I had seafood chowder which is recommended. The chef was passionate about his food and eating was one of the highlights of my 4-day visit to Dublin

We came here at 2:30 for the set Christmas lunch! It came with some puff bread, a starter, a main, and dessert. For our starters, the three of us had the vintage kitchen Cajun stew, the prawn red pepper chili risotto, and our third friend is vegetarian so she asked for the prawn risotto without the prawn and they offered to make her a special vegetarian risotto which was incredible! The prawn risotto was delicious and I still think about it. There was an abundance of prawn in it that I had prawn in every bite. Our mains were the pork shoulder wrapped in chicken skin with truffle gnocchi and the acorn squash. They paled in comparison to our starters. For dessert, we tried the cheese board, the chocolate lava cake with ice cream, and the set caramel with limoncello. Wouldn’t say the cheese board or the chocolate lava cake were anything special but the set caramel with limoncello was unique and tasty! A great mix of flavors. Overall would recommend coming here for sure and 35€ was a good deal for the quality and amount of food we got. Great way to try a bunch of different things. next time if we come back to dublin I would probably just come back for one dish because it was a lot of food!!

This was place is quite the gem! I highly Recommend making a reservation. Everything from the decor, the staff, the surrounding, and especially the food were excellent. If I can make any recommendations, the prawn risotto to start, followed by the lamb, and then the mango dessert were all divine. There pre-dinner drinks are quite refreshing as well. If in Dublin for the first time, this is quite the treat to satisfy your palate.

We went on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed. The menu is relatively small, but there is a lot of variety in the dishes, I started with a duck liver creme which was delicious, followed by steak wrapped in a pasty, almost like an individual Beef Wellington, which came with some mini hash browns - a really unusual and great touch. Wine list was good, but should really be extended now it is no longer BYOB. Overall excellent and highly recommended.

Thus far, my favourite dining experience in Ireland in 3 years. The ambience was perfect, the staff ridiculously attentive without being overbearing, and the food simply SCRUMPTIOUS! The flavours were all so powerful but perfectly balanced. They didn't make a single misstep so I couldn't imagine giving them anything less than 5 stars.

Excellent food and service. We had the goats cheese and risotto of herbs and for the main the plaice as a special and the gnocchi. Everything is really top class here
