Nice staff; he was explaining different items on the menu patiently + Messina Spritz was so-so + Lucio Spritz wasn't good + Basilico was really delicious + Lasagna was good but scarce + Al Forno Special was okay; the outside meat was more delicious than the inside meat; you could still find fresh blood and kind of raw meat; The side potatoes were really good + The table was reserved for a birthday party and it was explained in detail (like I provided a birthday song link) when I reserved it but, when we entered, they exposed that there are more guest upcoming and ruined the surprise; Also, no special thing (desert with a candle, birthday song, etc) from the house + Nice interior design and lighting + No interesting desert on the menu

Vieira was our waitress - absolutely fantastic!!! The food was great, prawns and nduja bread, arancini, squid ink pasta, boar tagliatelle, tiramisu, espresso, it was brilliant! Cooked to perfection. Vieira gave us wine recommendations and it was SPOT. ON. She was brilliant. Made us feel so welcome and helped us with our orders. Thank you so much!!

I would definitely recommend pizza, tiramisu and lemon panna cotta. In general, tastes are great, but the portions are really small for such a pricey restaurant. Staff is really friendly and helpful. They have a wide variety of Italian wines in the wine menu.

I went to Osteria Lucio for an office lunch and I must say that their service, ambiance and food were just so good. Their staff is very gentle towards their customers. For starters we ordered Arancini Cacio e Pepe, Gambero al Forno, both of which tasted delicious. The Gambero al Forno consists of two Jumbo Prawns, spiced garlic butter, crostini with 'nduja (like a bread with sauce on top). Its not spicy and has a very mild flavour to it. The prawn 🦐 was cooked so well soft buttery and juicy. Next up for main course, we ordered Two pizza sourdoughs- Apis and Juba. Apis a sweet and spicy pizza whereas Juba is a cheesy, tomato and basil based pizza. Tasted delicious again! One of us ordered the suckling pig shoulder al for-no which serves 2 people. Tasted yum he said! Some of us ordered their lasagna, however not everyone loved it. The meat seemed well cooked but the lasagna inside was very watery. Some more salt to it would have made it taste better. Pro tip: Order something you're a 100% sure of. If not, there could be a chance that the staff would approach and ask you for a reason why the dish was not fully eaten.

Always a pleasure to go for a nice dinner at Osteria Lucio. Staff is friendly (we had a very good waiter from Venezuela last time we went) and always providing good advices. Food is really good with quality products. I can't recommend specific products as they are all quite nice. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very nice with a main room that looks like an old wine cellar and an outside area protected from the rain/cold. Try booking before going as it can be quite packed.

Really cool place in a tunnel underneath the dart line. Service was very good, especially our server Pauline. Food and wine were delicious. Small bit expensive

Great food and service. It's my favourite Italian restaurant in Dublin. I have been there several times and never got disappointed.

We booked a table for my birthday, we were well attended to, the menu is small but caters for all tastes. very friendly and proactive waiters, the place was packed I believe by people working in the offices around. As it is summer, the lounge was very hot, perhaps it is necessary to add air conditioning to improve the atmosphere.

Booked online - super easy to get seated. Ambiance here is just great! I think the open kitchen concept really works when the staff is engaged and on board! And the food! Great flatbreads and apps. We had the fish special and a pizza - both cooked perfectly and served promptly. A very reasonably priced and varied wine list just makes it that much better!

Amazing Italian food! I spent my time eating so first took a picture when we got to the desert and the tiramisu + the espresso martini😉 But everything was great and service with a big smile - and no delays! Highly recommended!

Atmosphere and design is super cool, but menu and actual flavour was nothing special compared to other Italian restaurants in the area. We had a question about the ingredients in one dish due to some of our dietary restrictions, but the waiter got super annoyed and aggressively told us to "Google it" which I would've been happy to do except for the fact that you can't get any reception when sitting inside! Overall, not a pleasant experience or the taste for the price point. Wouldn't recommend.

We had a very average experience here. The salmone marinate was great but our mains (lasagne and seafood pasta) were just good. For the price we expected a bit more. We sat outside which was a bit cold so bundle up! Maybe it is a bit nicer of an environment to sit inside. Staff was really nice and gave recommendations.

There is not enough stars to rate this place…simply amazing. Fresh, full of taste and colours. Chef knows what he is doing and what is he mixing to get best results. A must to visit when you in Dublin

Every thing we ordered was absolutely delishes. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because we found it a bit pricy. The service was also fantastic and very lovely atmosphere

Completely exceeded my expectations. Everything we ordered was excellent and elevated, portions were generous. Pizza, suckling pig, and burrata dishes were standouts. Even the drinks were great. Pearlini! (Bellini with roasted pear puree) Service was casual and personable, staff seemed very friendly and happy.

Best restaurant we ate during our two week trip to Ireland. Party of 8 with different dishes and everyone loved their food. Pasta was home made. The wine selection was very good including wines from Italy that paired great with the food. Service was excellent. Not sure when I will be back in Ireland but will absolutely dine here again. If you are in Ireland and a foodie this place is a must go.

Excellent food, great service and friendly staff throughout. Seriously recommend it, especially the ossobuco and the Tiramisu. Cocktails are pretty good as well.

From starters to deserts this place is one of the best in town. The cocktails were fresh and tasty but the steak was one of the best we’ve ever had. Great atmosphere and design, the staff was friendly and efficient. WORTH!

Genuine 5 star place, fancy, wear something nice. Italians are amazing. Great outside setting with a low bridge and lovely indoor setting with buttresses and plenty of room.

This is a nice restaurant and the food mostly good but it's very overpriced. The burrata starter at €14 was very tasty but tiny ! The steak main with polenta fries was really delicious. The pork milanese was fine but €29 for a piece of breaded pork, a dip and a tomato salad is too expensive. The tomato salad wasn't a great match either for the pork. I'd read about the Tiramisu here but it was very average and there was a strong taste of almond liqueur instead of marsala. Also, it came in a glass which i don't think you would see it Italy ! The profiterole was a strange hybrid between affogato and a choux bun but was delicous all the same. €10 for each dessert was pricey considering their size and simplicity.

Portions are good and tasty. I was expecting something more from the dishes though considering they have a Michelin star. Tiramisu is great. We had to wait just for a bit for our table and the bar wasn't opened so we couldn't get cocktails on our table, I guess this is a special case due to Covid. The place is quite noisy without all the tables being full so I guess in normal circumstances, the level of noise is even worst. Service was good and polite.

Lovely warm welcome. Sat in the terrace which is cosy and private. Staff were fantastic from start to finish with friendly suggestions which never failed. Our 3 children were made very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed their food too, despite no kids menu.

Best Italian restaurant of Dublin. The location is great, the decor and ambiance are premium. I was first bothered the menu changed regularly, but that’s now my favorite thing about the place. Whatever the menu is, they simply won’t disappoint. The open pizza oven kitchen is incredible and the staff extremely polite and discreet. Can’t wait to be back.

Gorgeous with fabulous food and attentive staff. As a coeliac, I need a lot of help especially if the menu is in Italian! I was so well looked after. Good atmosphere with the underground feel and the rumble of trains overhead. Well worth the price which was considerable but we were celebrating.

Perfectly acceptable meal but by no means outstanding. Service wasn't very welcoming and were cold all the way through service. Starters were slow to come out. No one touched base before the booking with regards to allergies then on the day the menu has no allergin info at all. Explained my nut allergy which then ruled out 3 or 4 of the options in the starters course. No offer to get the starters without the nuts just ruled out entirely. Starter was good got Arancini and Prosciutto to share both tasty. Ordered a Pizza (Pizzette / Pizzetta?) for a main - really not good for a restaurant like this. Similar standard to Milanos or the likes. Not at all like some of the neapolitan style ones I've seen on their instagram, very very underwhelming. Tried some of my girlfriends venison gnochetti which was tasty but not outstanding. Maybe we ordered wrong or maybe I expected too much with the chefs connection to chapter one but not wow'd on this occasion. What must be said is the restaurant is very nicely laid out and decorated. It does look incredible.
