Went to breakfast here on a Tuesday morning, it was pretty quiet and the service was great! The food was so good, especially the salmon! I would definitely go again, maybe for brunch!

Pic says it all! Sourdough with mushrooms, pesto, poached eggs, peas and extra fried halloumi. Portions are HUGE, but oh it was so tasty!!! Great place to eat when in Dublin. Coffees are really good too. My friends ordered the same and we all loved it and were satisfied for hours.

Tried Urbanity for the first time yesterday. Wholeheartedly recommended. The Chicken Kiev sandwich is a thing of wonder. Spectacularly good. The dessert/cake coffee is also excellent. I'd recommend their spin on the classic Brunch ice cream. We'll definitely be back.

Located in the Smithfield area, Urbanity is one of the fantastic cafes around and offers a great choice whether for breakfast, brunch or lunch. We had the granola with berries which was utterly delicious. The coffee is also brilliant. One thing I value about Ireland is that chai latte is the norm and the dirty chai latte I had was great. The staff are welcoming and friendly. It’s also dog friendly place. I would love to come back another time to sample more of the menu!

Absolute worst experience I've ever had at any food establishment in Ireland. Business allowed another customer to bring a large parakeet into the premises. The bird was placed next to our table and was on a leash with its owners. When we were served cold coffee and inedible food, the bird flew from its chair and landed on my friends back, causing her to spill her coffee on herself. The owner of the bird apologized, however the staff at the cafe did nothing to help my friend or replace our food. The bird had been leaving droppings on the floor and it was overall a disgusting experience. My friend and I got up to leave and were expected to pay €29 for food we did not eat and having a bird leave my friend a victim of nervous shock. When this was contested with the manager, he described the premises as "pet friendly," saying that "the prices are on the menu" if I wasn't happy paying for what had just happened. Absolutely no apology and no recognition of their failure to provide a safe dining experience. According to the food safety authority, access for animals to food premises requires that: -Such access to customer dining areas is taken into account within the food safety management system in operation in the food business -The dining areas are monitored -Every effort is taken to ensure that food cannot be contaminated -Dogs and other pets are kept under the control of the owners, and -Proper procedures are in place to deal with any contamination of the premises. This incident was the result of a complete negligence on behalf of the business premises and has been reported to the HSA. My friend is seeking medical attention as she burned herself during the incident and is concerned about food contamination due to the live bird leaving droppings on our table. The response of the manager was perhaps the worst thing about this experience, and hence I would advise others to avoid this cafe at all costs.

Unique dishes. We got smoked salmon breakfast with waffles and thought it tasted great. Orange juice is freshly squeezed. Yummy coffee and baked treats.

Apart from the menu which had a lot of posh words on it, food was amazing, the explosion of flavours the textures, everything was a great gastronomic experience. Don't make the mistake of asking for syrup in your coffee, they'll give you the "look" 🤣🤣 Will most likely eat there next time I'm in Dublin.

Lively and modern take on a bistro/cafe. We had a lovely lunch and wish we had found it sooner during our visit. If you can grab a daily special sandwich, the kinds we had were fresh and wonderful. Can recommend the soups as well especially the curry varieties.

Went a few times during my stay in Dublin. Ate 3 times, ranging from breakfast to lunch. All of the dishes were great. Combine that with good coffee (not unimportant for a coffee bar) en nice service, this would be a recommended place when in this area. Sundays seemed quite busy around brunchtime (people were waiting to get a spot), but every early visit went without having to wait.

Limited menu but looks very good, and turned out to be good. Industrial set up with plenty of seats, decent price. Really enjoyed my pecan cake, very delicious!

A good place for having lunch alone or with friends. The staff are lovely, and made me feel comfortable. Also they were very pacient and explained to me all about the menu. There is a excellent vegan option on the menu and the soup of the day is also vegan. (The photo is all about the vegan dish and the soup of the day) Other important point: the price is reasonable and the coffee (double espresso) is good, no need to add sugar. Totally be coming back there!

Came in for lunch during my visit to Dublin and my dish was absolutely gorgeous, nourishing and quickly served. The staff were so friendly and seemed to genuinely care about the experience of the customers. The playlist was amazing and overall vibe was perfect. Worth every cent

I went there last Sunday without a booking and it was easier to find a table for two persons. The food was tasty and well prepared. The fare was appropriate for the price, very good and enjoyable meal. Waitrons know their jobs, are very polite and attentive.

Fabulous food. Good service, good surroundings, good music but the food is the star of the show. I have been going here once a week for the last few months when I’m in Dublin for work. Each dish has been very impressive. If you’re anywhere near it make the effort to go, you won’t be disappointed.

Great trendy spot for a bite to eat. Located in Smithfield, close to the Quays with plenty of transport options. Visited for brunch and was really impressed. Had a fantastic lamb dish which was unusual so early, but wow what a dish. Great service. Seating would not be for everyone as a little tight. Loud enough so again not for everyone. But if neither bother you I would highly recommend

Coffee wasn’t our favorite because the espresso tasted burnt and they didn’t have flavor options for the lattes, but the porridge was delicious and they have excellent sourdough.

Very lovely brunch spot/cafe close to the city centre. I would recommend the pork belly! Personally I wasn’t a huge fan of the smoked salmon, but I would recommend going 😍

The place doesn’t allow for bookings so we walked in and were given a table instantly. They had a St Patricks day menu which we selected our food from. The food arrived in an alright time. Our drinks came first. I got the Vietnamese iced coffee which was nice. The mains was quite big portions so be wary. I also got the Parmesan fries as well! The food overall was alright in my books; they were trying to make it healthy as well as fuse it with outwardly taste. I’m too used to the ingredients they used eg chutney, squash, nuts etc. so for me nothing was really WOW. They also only have one toilet which folks queue up for. I would say it was an alright experience. Not the best. The seating area (where I was sat) was also too close to comfort with other folks. I don’t really think I’d revisit but wouldn’t discourage folks I guess.

It absolutely deserves 5 stars ✨ spotless place, well designed sitting area, delicious food and a lovely team. It just amazed me honestly, i was there with my friend for brunch and we really enjoyed being there and having the food, coffee was super tasty too! I saw some desserts on the display and I can’t wait to come back to taste them! They were looking delicious 🤤

Pre pandemic, I found this to be a nice place with friendly staff. Post pandemic, they have a non Irish male employee who is quite rude. Please and thank you would not go astray. English lessons may be required.

We went to Urbanity today because it was dog friendly. It was very dog friendly. Baxter was spoiled rotten by the staff and he can't wait to see them again. It's a very nice wee coffee shoppe nicely tucked out of the way just off Smithfield Square. Our brownie was big enough for two and we even had some to take home.
